- proprietor - great breakfast
- entire room is sloped - walls not soundproof
Patrick runs a very tidy ship. He was attentive to our needs, and offered suggestions for local dining and attractions.
Parking was confusing for non French speakers, but Patrick explained and all went well.
King plus bed, large room, nice decor. Excellent breakfast cooked by Patryck. Free parking. Four blocks from Green line Metro.
The room and bathroom were modern and well furnished. Two of the four breakfasts were wonderful.
The stairs are very steep. Upon arrival we were asked to remove our shoes as they were "not allowed in the room"....(no explanation given....hard wood floors and small throw rug so not sure why). The first breakfast was not provided because the host "had a meeting to attend". Coffee was provided but nothing else, in spite of the fact that a boulongerie was on the corner from which he could have provided pastry. No rate reduction was offered. No options were offered for the provided breakfasts. The second breakfast was a spinach and cheese crepe. If you like spinach, great....if not, tough luck. No housekeeping was provided for a 4 night stay. No remote for the TV. No glasses in the bathroom....had to fetch from the kitchen.
Breakfast was outstanding. Location is good, about five blocks to metro station.
Soundproofing could be better. We could hear other guests, and were concerned that we might disturb them. Need to carry suitcases up two flights of steps, not a problem for most, but would not be easy for older guests or those with any limitations.
We loved the breakfasts! Fresh fruit every morning and very intricate dishes that followed. The room was very modern and clean! Location was perfect. Close to subway and main strip.
Nothing!! Everything was perfect.
Patrick the proprietor was very kind, attentive and a great chef. The facility was immaculate and very convenient to attractions and the Metro. I would highly recommend staying here ( for younger ambulatory people since the rooms are on the 3rd floor).
VERY MANY STAIRS FROM THE STREET AND WITHIN THE BUILDING WERE ESPECIALLY DIFFICLT FOR AGED PERSONS SUCH AS WE. IF WE WERE YOUNGER I WOULD NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DISLIKE.
Pratrick the owner was polite as well as gracious host. My new favorite place to stay.
Not being able to stay longer
The room with nice and tidy, and quiet. The furnishings were great and a nice hot shower. The best part of the stay was the gourmet breakfast !!! Different each day at the time of our convenience. Not too far from the Metro...
The breakfast was awesome, room was cozy, felt private, loved the lighting and the brick walls.
