We love the location.
Great location and accommodation!
You have to check in at a nearby hotel. This is no problem if you know in advance.
Location, comfort of the spacious room, kitchen facilities
More instructions were needed for the air conditioner and the use of the facilities(what were we allowed to use, who to contact of there were issues)
The bed and breakfast was an excellent room, the old town feel with modern accents. It is located right down town old Quebec City. Would definatly go again and have been recommending this place to everyone
The bed wasn't the best definatly like sleeping on a piece of plywood but a bottle of wine helped
Private and in a top notch tourist area.
Bathroom down the hall. The room and building itself required much needed maintenance.
The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly.
We were suppose to be staying at a different location, but apparently the place we were suppose to be staying at was under renovation. We weren't informed of this until the day we arrived.
The hotel operators really need to think through basic accommodations for their guests. When I reserved our room the understanding was that the check-in location was close by. It was not. It took an hour to find it, get our key and then get back to our room. We chose this hotel because it is very close to the things that we were interested in seeing and doing but we had to walk a long distance to check-in / out so this convenience was lost. The hotel operator posted a sign on the door of the hotel with the phone number of the check-in location but the area code was not provided!! What good is that to people from out of town? The check-in address was provided but we are unfamiliar with the area. The hotel operator should provide a map of the area so that we know where to check-in. The bathroom is down the hall from our room. It was not clear if it was shared or not. This basic communication would not cost the hotel operator much but it would indicate that he appreciates our business. We would not stay here again.
Check-in is at another hotel a mile away. I had to leave my wife and luggage outside the hotel because the door was locked, then walk a mile to the other hotel to pickup the key to our room. Breakfast was included in the price, but did not know we had to go to another hotel to get it. Was told we had a choice of two hotels, but the first choice (the closest) told us the first morning they were not providing breakfast any longer. So we had to walk a mile for breakfast to the same hotel where I got the key. The bathroom was advertised as private, which it was. But it was not in the room. It was down the hall.
When we arrived there was a note on the door telling us to call another hotel. Details / a map how to get to that hotel would have been useful. Fortunately a passer by helped us.
Every other things, I booked for gite cote de la Montagne and I was offered to stay in another hotel because they know how poor gite cote la Montagne is.
