Nice/helpful staff Right by the Blackcomb lifts. Nice hot tub/pool
Soundproofing nonexistent. Bring earplugs. Sagging, very old bed. Had to pull the mattress off and sleep on it on the floor.
Half reasonable price.
Room cleanliness poor, bedding not fresh, smelly. Noisy neighbour.
that YOU --you did not include taxes in your bill !!!!
This was the second time staying at Glacier Lodge and we ended up staying in the same room. You're less than a 10 minute walk from the bike park lift, which was a huge bonus.
No air conditioning- which was slightly inconvenient in August.
Was very quiet, rooms were fresh, had a pool, had secure parking. There was a liquor store right out front of the hotel as well, although it was kind of pricy.
The bedding was not warm enough for me, they did not offer robes at all which really sucked since they had a swimming pool and hot tub. Also was a little far from where we wanted to go in the village so ended up making lots of trips back and forth.
Location Facilities Large Room Hot Tub Car Parking Bottom of Blackcomb
Felt we paid a fair price booking last minute
They switched us to another place, then on to another place...
the pool,the kitchen the bed
-late check in -the staff did not seen friendly ,neither experienced -one male staff was talking to the cleaning staff about cars while trying to answer our questions I probably would not recommend this hotel to my friends because I wouldn't want them to have the same bad experience us we did
poor beds, hollow in centre, toilet blocked, dust on heater covers, no central air, very limited kitchen utensils, one chair missing at table
I loved the size of the suite for our family. We also had a wrap around patio which was amazing.
When we arrived we had to drive to a different facility to give our damage deposit through our debit card. We paid our stay with our visa but my husband is building his credit as an immigrant and the limit is only $500. I don't see how a debit deposit is such a difficult problem. Having 2 small children and arriving at 10 at night made it a big inconvenience for us to drive to another location just to put down a deposit. When we arrived in the room I was putting the kids to bed and my husband discovered the bathroom was not clean. The toilet was disgusting with urine and hair all over it. We called the front desk and waited for almost an hour and a half. My husband contacted the front desk 3 times within this time frame and the last time was told there were public washrooms close by we could use!!! Finally someone came and it was the guy I paid my damage deposit to over at cascade lodge!! The front desk clerk at another facility had to come over to clean the mess!? He was very apologetic and was also surprised at the state of the bathroom.
disgustingly dirty dishes and cutlery wrong advertising "wifi in every room", it was poor fussy shower curtain
Good quality of Room and amenities at an affordable price
Nice accomms, tastefully decorated and equipped, great bike storage
No AC, kind of stuffy in the summer
Young inexperience staff talking to friends on phone while I waited for service at front desk. Didn't get requested confirmation about releasing my $200 cleaning deposit after departing.
Location, Location, Location
Hot tub and pool was closed but I was not aware of that when booking. $15 for parking in the off season.
Spacious rooms, two sofa beds in the lounge. Good hot tubs.
Loose tiles around pool/tub area.
Unit was very dated. There was no bed, we slept on fold out couch ver uncomfortable. No maid service, not a good experience.
Location, convenience, restaurant facilities. Could control room temp easily. Solution for problem was to move me-a positive-but which was not convenient for me due to meeting times and did not give a refund for less than ideal conditions. Internet was stable. Maint staff were friendly and prompt.
TV never worked properly even after 2 visits. Bed was broken and no one had noticed. Sheets were not properly put on so never stayed on bed. Fitted sheets would be much better for the mattresses. Staff do not really go out of their way. Deck of pool/hot tub in horrible state. Hallways too hot.
The location doesn't get much better on the mountain and the property always appears to be well maintained.
We picked a studio as we were there only two nights, but it had a sofa bed (not the queen that was pictured) - this bed was most uncomfortable. The room was an outside room, so the street noise was quite loud from 6:00 am - 10:00 pm. There are no ski lockers and you're not allowed to bring them into your room, so you either leave them in your car or take them to the ski shop for storage. Lastly, you've just paid $$$$ for slope side accommodations and then you have to pay for parking - really?
Very convenient !very clean and quite
Hot tub too small
Good location in Upper Village, attractive facility, complementary ski storage.
Front desk staff were underwhelming in anticipating our information needs (e.g., proper instructions on parking, location of elevators, etc.); coffee pot was broken (but replaced by staff on request); Wi-Fi connectivity was finicky; and TV remote didn't work (probably due to a dead battery). For the price paid, I would have expected a higher level of service than this.
This was a great place to stay. It was large, comfortable and very quiet. My room overlooked a forested area. The building itself was quiet inside too. For skiing Blackcomb it could be easier. It is a minute from the wizard chair. Value for money is exceptional. I would definitely stay here again
The ski locker is the rental shop attached to the lodge. The staff there were not great
hard to get to outdoor hot tub
