Score from 176 reviews Very good
the pool,the kitchen the bed
-late check in -the staff did not seen friendly ,neither experienced -one male staff was talking to the cleaning staff about cars while trying to answer our questions I probably would not recommend this hotel to my friends because I wouldn't want them to have the same bad experience us we did
Good quality of Room and amenities at an affordable price
Nice accomms, tastefully decorated and equipped, great bike storage
No AC, kind of stuffy in the summer
Young inexperience staff talking to friends on phone while I waited for service at front desk. Didn't get requested confirmation about releasing my $200 cleaning deposit after departing.
Location, Location, Location
Hot tub and pool was closed but I was not aware of that when booking. $15 for parking in the off season.
Spacious rooms, two sofa beds in the lounge. Good hot tubs.
Loose tiles around pool/tub area.
Unit was very dated. There was no bed, we slept on fold out couch ver uncomfortable. No maid service, not a good experience.
Location, convenience, restaurant facilities. Could control room temp easily. Solution for problem was to move me-a positive-but which was not convenient for me due to meeting times and did not give a refund for less than ideal conditions. Internet was stable. Maint staff were friendly and prompt.
TV never worked properly even after 2 visits. Bed was broken and no one had noticed. Sheets were not properly put on so never stayed on bed. Fitted sheets would be much better for the mattresses. Staff do not really go out of their way. Deck of pool/hot tub in horrible state. Hallways too hot.
The location doesn't get much better on the mountain and the property always appears to be well maintained.
We picked a studio as we were there only two nights, but it had a sofa bed (not the queen that was pictured) - this bed was most uncomfortable. The room was an outside room, so the street noise was quite loud from 6:00 am - 10:00 pm. There are no ski lockers and you're not allowed to bring them into your room, so you either leave them in your car or take them to the ski shop for storage. Lastly, you've just paid $$$$ for slope side accommodations and then you have to pay for parking - really?
Very convenient !very clean and quite
Hot tub too small
Good location in Upper Village, attractive facility, complementary ski storage.
Front desk staff were underwhelming in anticipating our information needs (e.g., proper instructions on parking, location of elevators, etc.); coffee pot was broken (but replaced by staff on request); Wi-Fi connectivity was finicky; and TV remote didn't work (probably due to a dead battery). For the price paid, I would have expected a higher level of service than this.
This was a great place to stay. It was large, comfortable and very quiet. My room overlooked a forested area. The building itself was quiet inside too. For skiing Blackcomb it could be easier. It is a minute from the wizard chair. Value for money is exceptional. I would definitely stay here again
The ski locker is the rental shop attached to the lodge. The staff there were not great
hard to get to outdoor hot tub
The room was very big and spacious and had everything we needed. The location was great for ski in ski out.
The village was a fair walk away, check out time was quite early, and I was not notified about the 250 dollar security deposit apon arrive which caused some stress afterwards. My boyfriend lifted the bed up to see if anything had fallen and it was full of dust and dirt.
Fantastic location. Minutes to Blackcomb lifts.
Room didn't have a mini fridge or microwave. Rooms are average.
Friendly receptionist named 'Chloe". Fire burning and comfy lounge in foyer. Elegant, well furnished unit. Located next door to Fairmont Hotel. 5 minutes walk to Blackcomb chairlift.
Nothing to dislike
We loved the accommodation; really enjoyed our stay. Very private and cozy apartment
Check out at 10 AM is VERY EARLY!!!!
The location is great! Close to amenities, sights and activities. The entrance looks good.
The room (#222) could, at best, be considered a 2+ when the reviews we read suggested it was a 4 star. Very disappointed in the room. We are extremely unlikely to book that resort again when there are so many wonderful Whistler resorts.
Great value stay in whistler. This was my second stay in glacier lodge and i will keep coming back! Nice quiet location and only a 5-10min scenic walk to the main village. Also the pool and hot tub facilities are great!
There was nothing not to like
Hotel room was located in the upper village so it was convenient
awful rooms ... the room I got had cigarette smell coming from every piece of furniture in the studio suite and smelt like i was inhaling second hand smoke.. was not well kept, walls were dirty and it was a waste of money ... all the rooms are to over priced for what you end up receiving .. super upsetting ! I did not end up staying in the room and had to go somewhere else to stay the second night
great location, fair price, very nice and friendly staff,
the studio room supposed to have a patio or balcony , it DID NOT. parking rates sould be lower, or free
Very clean and comfortable. Loved the kitchen, living room, bathroom and separate bedroom.
Beds were a little hard and there was no AC. The weather was warm.
I was attending a conference next door at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. Glacier Lodge provided a budget-friendly option in the Upper Village. For anyone looking to stay here for simply leisure, it is about a 7-10 min walk to the heart beat of the Village (Whistler Mountain) so it's quiet, but close enough to walk over to the busy-ness. It's like a 2 min walk from the base of Blackcomb Mountain.
