Location, Facilities and accomodation
Central location, close to everything. Large rooms, good value.
Rooms are difficult to locate upon arrival.
Fine location, easy to find, wonderfully clean, fine bathrooms, good beds, secure parking, very close to grocery store, post office, and Olympic Plaza, plus restaurants. Quiet, well kept grounds, beautifully landscaped.
Was not expecting two & a half levels which was a bit of a surprise. Lots of steps! On the other hand, one is rewarded with a marvelous little deck off the master bedroom with a fantastic view of Mt. Whistler.
Excellent location Spotless clean Appointed and stocked with care - felt like home
Outside noise - things were usually pretty quiet except for a couple of party nights on the weekend.
Had a great time! Clean place! Quiet and relaxing! Close to grocery store and Whistler Village!
This was a fabulous location for ironman spectators as it is right on the run course and a few minutes from the finish line. Our elderly mother was able to cheer on runners and watch her grandson-in-law race by in 2nd place right from the porch! The pool and hot tub were clean and the shops and village were just a short walk from the condo. The beds were firm but comfortable with cotton sheets and lots of pillow variety. We did see a bear right on the path out front! The kitchen and bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Really a great spot for our purposes!
The fridge needs to be changed to left hand opening, it was quite warm in the condo albeit it was unusually warm in Whistler at the time (30 +c) nice to have the fans. Found it to be a bit dark during the day inside the condo, could use more chairs around the pool during busy times. Not really anything serious to complain about!
Great location! The pool area.
Condo layout was awkward -- "master bedroom" had two twin beds, second room was one larger bed. Track lighting was extremely hot when on. The shared hot tub with the condo next door took away any sense of privacy (we had teenage girls with us, they did not feel comfortable.) The condo would be better suited to a group without kids. No grill in our unit.
Fantastic location and although compact there as lots of space for the family.
Screen doors were in horrible condition and you could barely close the doors.
Great place to stay! Everything you need is in the appartment.
Good location within easy walking distance to all within Whistler village. House well stocked even board games. Wifi excellent service
Excellent location within walking distance to all that Whistler has to offer. Our stay was at the half way point in our vacation which allowed for us to do laundry from our location which was great. Even though are stay was in the summer there is lots to do. A highlight for the kids was mountain biking on Whistler and for mom and dad it was a day at the Scandinavian spa. Very relaxing stay and a great summer vacation spot!
Had a problem with a shower bar falling but there were 2 showers so we just did not use that one. Trevor was very apologetic and committed to replace the bar when we left. Trevor was great to help us out even with one of our pillows exploding in the washer. The repair man was great (sorry again Trevor for that!).
Everything very well equipped.
The location was perfect, right into the village. Very comfortable apartment with all amenities and the hot tub was definitely a plus when the night comes and you want to relax!
The air conditioning in our room wasn't working and it was really hot this weekend.
Great directions by owner. Met him in 1st 48 hrs. Easy access to apartment. Very clean. Good kitchen. A superb situation for self catering. Quiet, secure and the pool was great. GO THERE? This is a summer review.
More accurate directions for the garbage, and recycling would be useful. No big deal.
convenient location, private tub
kitchen was good and fully equipped with pots and pans etc. H.ot tub was nice on the balcony but there was construction in the nearby unit so the noise from hammers etc., was disturbing .Bathroom upstairs good had a whirlpool tub, but the button was broken, so no massage.
carpeting with many stairs from main door to the living/kitchen area was moldy smelling.cleaning lady stated that the hot tub leaked and that is the reason...another set of stairs in a narrow staircase to the small bedrooms up stairs.could not get the tv to work. had to phone the cable company myself.unable to locate the switch for the fireplace.no instructions in the unit for same. no reception desk, had to locate the unit from a map outside.we knew this so, we walked there the day before,( as we stayed the previous night in Tantalus lodge) to see where we will be the next day...luckily we happen to ran into the caretaker(who was at that time looking for another couple) so we could ask him where our unit was going to be located the next day.he was not thrilled at all, was very abrupt just pointed us the unit and continued on...the next day when we checked in, we only met the housekeeper briefly as she began to ask us if the unit was clean and stated it better had be clean as I cleaned it myself! she obviously wanted us to immediately approve and we were still in a process moving in carrying our luggage coolers etc,the many stairs up the narrow staircase and we had not had a chanche to even see the condo on the two floors.once we moved in and stayed 3nights no one came to inquire ,in regards to our comfort etc..We were disappointed in the welcome we received or I should say that we DID NOT receive, considering the price of the condo furniture dated. Wedid not get any compensation for the musty odour from the previous leak, so far...
Clean, quiet location, close to village
no check-in desk, random numbering of units
no coffee provided (isn't that a staple?) very dark, not much natural light.
No wi fi Non working television
Lots of loud partiers around-but that wasn't the fault of the location or condo itself!
I like every things inside or out side the house
The Wi-Fi some times not good
The accommodation was spotlessly clean it had everything you could need the hot tub was great and Trevor and his house keeper/ cleaner were most helpful in all it was like home from home. Whistler it's self is a very pretty place there are lots to do trails to cycle or walk, lots of nice shops restaurants and other eating places to suit all, you will not be disappointed by visiting Whistler and staying at Glaciers Reach.
