The rooms are all unique, very friendly & helpful staff, eclectic Rooms close to Queen street are extremely noisy at night due to night life. Beware. |

Great friendly staff. Very cool rooms and elevator. Cool bar and tons of free live music. Food was just OK. Beer was mediocre. Intermittent interruptions in wireless internet service. Often there was no elevator operator, hence no elevator service. |

It's a fab place, very hip and groovy and unlike anyplace I have every stayed in the world. Very unique. Need to be a bit adventurous to appreciate the "character" of the place, it's not boutique, it is original and unique. |

I would definitely stay here again!! The staff was very friendly, the room was very clean and appealing, the food at the cafe was indescribably delicious and the room rate was very reasonable. There was a bit of street noise, as it's right on Queen St., but it didn't keep me awake. |

The hotel rooms are funky and not too fussy, its in a great Queen St West location for bars and the downstairs bar has the best karaoke nights in Toronto. The rooms are a bit on the noisy side. |

There was no room service and customers are not allowed to use the elevator without an operator. Often we had to take the stairs. |

Rooms were all individually designed and spotlessly clean. Collections of art throughout the hotel. Good bar downstairs in the hotel. Room was quite small |

Staying at The Gladstone was an adventure. It's a place alive with art, music and interesting people where you can dig yourself right into the whole scene and enjoy watching what comes at you. We loved the funky, comfy rooms and the krazy- fun karaoke melody bar. Awesome! |

I very much enjoyed the old world feel of the hotel. The shining hardwood floors were beautiful, and the rooms were all unique. Very delicious food in the cafe, I ate there at least once a day. I traveled solo, and felt very safe. |

Great rooms, beds are very comfortable. Restaurant is excellent. Location is fairly close to downtown. The noise from the outside is so clear, as if you were not even 3 floors up and in a room. You can hear conversations from bar partrons and as it gets later, they get louder. The extremely comfortable beds make up for it. |

Great rooms. Amazing mix of old charm with modern design. Friendly staff. Fun bar in the hotel and great cafe. I rarely if ever eat at a hotel I stay but had breakfast there both days The rooms on Queen and Gladstone had a lot of street noise due to the Tram, train, and buses that frequently pass in the area. You know it is a bad sign when there are complimentary ear plugs in the room |

My room was over the club downstairs. I didn't sleep the night I was there and had to ask to be transferred to another room at about 3 a.m. When I called the hotel operator I had to leave a message since no one answered. They were apologetic and offered a free breakfast. I won't stay there again. |

the decor in the rooms and the hotel (the art work) was great. the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. i would recommend the hotel with limitations (see next point) it was very noisy. i suggest that some noise suppression be put in the common hall by the elevator - like carpet on the floor and soft coverings on the walls to try and cut down on the noise from guests arriving and leaving. there is no privacy between rooms. |

We loved the beds at the Gladstone Hotel! Also, we requested another room for the second night and we were transferred right away. The rooms are all beautiful and so unique. I think the parking was the only issue we had as they only have 10 parking spots and they were all taken all weekend so we had to risk parking on the street. |

When we arrived the people were really friendly. The service is genuine not stuffy We checked out earlier than we had (5:00am) anticipated... The front desk person should never comment or ask why such a short stay (especially if the reservation is for one night only !!!!!!!!!!!! |
