browsed the galleries, shops, enjoyed the local restaurants and bars The room was one of the smaller and less interesting (room 320) They definitely have nicer more interesting rooms. |

Loved that the windows open for fresh air...air quality quite good because not recycled....and it's non-smoking....liked the friendly "unstuffy" staff...liked the common room on each floor...liked the exhibits on each floor. |

wonderful appearance in historical building. Not an 'airport' feel at all; very personal. Food is fantastic in cafe downstairs. Staff a bit uninformed. Bed rather uncomfortable. |

Hotel itself was cool due to it being an artist designed hotel, staff was super friendly and very sweet! Size of room and shower - checked out early and moved to a different hotel due to size of it. Loved the hotel itself and if I would've known that paying a discount would cause me to have a such a small room, I would've paid full price! |

I enjoyed the location and the uniqueness of the hotel rooms. The shower stall was so tiny, smaller than a phone booth. |

the rooms were differently designed. it felt warm, inviting and unique. although the 105 year old manually operated elevator was way cool, it took some time to get the attendant to bring elevator up when we were coming from top floor, so we walked the stairs quite a bit, which was good for our health but we did stay on the 4th floor so... |

very very gentle team behind the reception, the room in itself was nice Obviously the surrounding is not british eaton style, it's "westend". my room looked on the street and was therefore a little noisy |

The food was amazing, the service was friendly and staff were helpfull. good location for people that want to explore the city and get involved with local art scene The noise from the traffic outside was loud enough to keep us awake and wake us up in the morning- no double glazing. The air con was also noisy but at least it drowned out the traffic. |

The only thing is that the bed we were in was really "curved" in the middle, so it hurt our backs. |

Artwork was fantastic, breakfast was excellent, and the building wonderful! They should have simple kettle/coffee machine facilities in the room. |

Excellent location: on mass transit line; great shopping and galleries; eclectic and bohemian neighborhood Hotel did not have my reservation on file! Fortunately had rooms available. Hotel blamed on Booking.com website but I'm not convinced this was the case. |

Really unusual funky hotel with bags of personality. The staff very really friendly and the bar next door has tonnes of atmosphere. Could be a bit noisy at night but earplugs are provided. |

I liked that it had so much history and was restored beautifully and was very unique from other big corporate owned hotels. Our street facing room was noisy at night making it difficult to sleep. We would have liked a menu in our room of the hotel restaurant. |
