awesome location. Subway and buses right in front!
Beds are way too soft and they could improve on cleanness.
The privacy the area the extra space
The greeting staff incredibly rude the staff I phoned were very very condescending
The cleaning crew and location
There is no recepcionist to help you. It's always by email or phone the communication.
Location was great.
However , staff was rude, security was rude, what I was paying for wasn't even what they said it was. Very run down place, Beds and couches were terrible. If your looking for a good place to stay don't waste your money here, To cancel reservations a few days into 17 night stay they weren't gonna give my money back. They ended charging 3 extra nights. They tried to say there was no rooms available anywhere else to make me stay. Worst place I ever stayed even worse then econo lodge.
Concierge Decent sized apartments Good Wifi Superb Location Very Friendly Staff
Lifts could be in better condition
Location and comfort
The security guard was not pleasing to talk with. He was not accomodating to be asked something about the area. The kitchen was lacking frying pan in our room while the other room lacked beddings
thelocation is excellent. Room is spacious. View is also good.
No service in the building, you have to call and that is not conveience.
Room was clean, Security staff on duty were responsive to inquiries. Location well suited to my purpose.
Booking indicate free internet; the guest services information in the room indicated a fee for internet service.
Location, supplies and size.
Kitchen fan too loud. A little pricey.
This was a great location right on Bay Street. I loved having a full kitchen and 2 bedrooms at an affordable price in the heart of Toronto
The apartment was not clean. The bathtubs had random debris. There was dust everywhere.
high storied tower no disturbance convenient
non-smoking rooms no staff available on site
: sqeeky bed! : had to wash all dishes &utensils before use! : kitchen & refrigerator was dirty! : arrived on Friday & had only three bath & hand towels until maid was due on Wednesday Maid didn't turn up on Wednesday & had to call for her on Thursday! : apartment needs a good painting! : fire alarm going off repeatadely at 11pm on Friday 14th
It was spacious for us and knowledgable staff.
It was cleaned before we got there(which is good) but it had been done awhile in advance. The room was dusty and the air abit thick. After airing it out for a couple of hours it wasn't bad.
Great location to college street subway station. Parking in the building. Self contained kitchen.
Bed bugs. Do something about that pronto !
The location was conveniently located next to the hospital, which was my purpose for being there.
Desk staff was not very informative or obliging.Considering this was our first time in Toronto,I was not overly impressed.
Location Wooden floor boards Bed Not noisy
Grubby lift with the red covers Grubby old furniture Not being able to open a window Hot and stuffy Room too bright TV and media complicated to use
The site should emphasize that it is an apartment building and not a hotel. It didn't bother me not having hotel services, but I would have prepared differently for my stay.
Large apartment, excellent Wifi, great location.
size of rooms, tech and gadgets, views, check in, check out, location.
shabby - needs a refurb, but on the whole excellent value.
Location is fabulous Facilities were good too
House keeping period is quite long ( more than) 7 days
the location was great for us the unit had all the amenities that we needed for a stay very comfortable lodgings
We were there for four days in late September 2014 during a late heat wave. The air conditioning in the building was turned off because summer was over, we were told by the desk man. The temperature in our room was way too hot, almost unbearable. A call to the building managers got no response. We had to suffer through the heat. Also the remotes provided to get you in and out of the parking garage were difficult to use and sometimes simply did not work. We did not have a comfortable visit and would not go back there.
central location. very clean. Nice not to be cramped in a small hotel room. Has all the amenaties of an apartment. There is a small work out room that gets the job done, but not fancy.
I had someone banging on my door at 12:30pm on the first night. Supposed to be a secure building so not sure if he just had the wrong room. Did not open my door to find out. Second night I had someone ring my room through the intercom... not much that can be blamed on The Glen Grove for that except the building does have intercom and this can happen. It is in downtown Toronto and there is a lot of traffic noise. Especially emergency vehicles. I am from a quieter part of Canada and this affected my quality of sleep, but I don't think it would have been much different for any building in downtown toronto.
