The lounge/dinning area could do with a clean up & update but had. A great meal and the staff were very friendly&helpful
Thin walls. Very loud parties next door and below. I felt my safety challenged and was not happy with the extreme noise.
Wildlife and bird viewing was fantastic. Room and facilities were in dire need of updating. Deck chairs were horrible.
See above comment on sated facilities and deck chairs.
Room was comfortable but restaurant lacked any atmosphere. Food average but staff very helpful. Lady on front desk extremely helpful. Wonderful situation. We saw a black bear and eagles while eating dinner.
Absolutely loved the view. Hotel is located right on the beach. Each room has a balcony - views of the bay, wildlife and nearby marina. Large, comfortable room nicely furnished. Good food in the restaurant.
Our room did not have a screen door on the sliding glass door to the balcony, so we weren't comfortable leaving the door open overnight. Nor was there a fan in the room so it was a little stuffy for sleeping. Next time we'll bring a fan.
Friendly staff, view of the waterfront and wildlife from the room
Rooms are big and a great view.
Can't beat the view of the harbor. The eagles were soaring and the fish were jumping. The front end staff were very friendly.
The facility is in need of an update. We ate in the pub (understaffed but they tried hard), food was just average and although you can see the fishing boats from the pub, there was nothing on the menu that was local. It too needs a good cleaning and an update.
Ease of location and friendly staff
great view and good size balcony to enjoy it from
restaurant service was haphazard (probably due to inexperience)
The view from the room, salmon jumping, seals and herons fishing. Bald eagles fishing for salmon. Wild life viewing without leaving the room.
Nothing at all
The lovely views, the comfort of the room, the access to the laundry and the proximity to the ferry port.
The proximity to the ferry, the lovely views from our room and the comfort.
Beautiful view, in a beautiful part of the world
Seaplanes are noisy if you plan on sleeping in.
View from room.
Very helpful front end staff.
Laundry was reasonably priced and with dryer could wash and dry whole load whilst we had dinner in quaint restaurant overlooking water. Food in restaurant was excellent and service could not be faulted. Shuttle picked us up from greyhound drop off and we organised him to take us to ferry terminal next morning shuttle was excellent value and a ride in an American school bus was a fun bonus.
All was excellent
The receptionist was welcoming when we arrived off the ferry late at night. The room was clean, spacious and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good value for money. It was overlooking the harbour, and we could see bald eagles flying around.
Very helpful and friendly staff
Decor was a little tired and needed updating. Breakfast not included in price
Lovely clean and modern room, with stunning views. Staff were friendly and helpful.
For the price I would have expected breakfast to be included. Quite a walk out of town for anyone without a vehicle.
Watching the wild life off the balcony and the restaurant served good food.
In comparing the other places we stayed, this one was overpriced for the accommodations and what they had to offer.
Location, dog walking area, on site pub. Dog friendly but I understand the policy is changing.
Wi fi was brutal, could've been cleaner, we reserved for three people but had to ask for more towels as there were only enough for two.
Comfortable accommodation with outstanding view over the bay.Good food in restaurant and pub. Friendly and welcoming. Would stay there again
Internet somewhat slow especially in the evening
the bed and space of the upgraded suite.
Didn't really enjoy the meal I had there - Prime Rib....vegs almost raw, potatoes watery, yorkshire, hollow and overcooked....meat...tough...
Convenience of location to highway and the views from the balcony were exceptional.
