Not much at all.
The location was awful. With the construction going on I could find the place for 1 hr. The floors were really dirty. The bathroom wasn't very clean. The staff didn't help. The parking lot was filthy.
Easy access to downtown
Sudden notice of water shut down for 2 days for 5 hours (only for an assurance later upon much checking that it was to be an intermittent one)
-view of waterfront -safe central area -value for money large apartment -supermarket underneath & lots of takeaways close by -beside streetcar stop -good laundry room (once card obtained) -free wifi
-difficult to find the entrance to the building due to street numbering -laundry card missing & hard to locate another as building porter on the desk does not work for GlenGrove -no housekeeping, towels & toilet rolls not changed/replenished at all
bed bugs, not clean and the noise from the highway next to it.
The location was good, the apartment had great views of the lake and Toronto. Easy to get to by taxi from Union Station and close to CN tower. Good amenities, stove, microwave, fridge, cutlery.
Unfortunately there is a lot of roadworks being carried out the front of the building. One of the bedroom drawers were in bad condition and we did not use as we were only there for three days.
Carpets need cleaning
Easy access to transportation and downtown.
Amazing location, great amenities!
Both my Mom and I received multiple bug bites throughout our stay - not sure the type but it lead to discomfort for the duration of the stay.
It was quiet nobody bothered us.
You guys have bed bugs!
Loved the location with great view.Close to attractions. We liked the idea of being able to cook own meals. Very comfy beds.
Sleeping difficult because of outside noise. With road works made it difficult to get in and out.Once completed, it will be a wonderful .
Location and view of the lake
Oven did not work. Light in kitchen burned out and construction across the hall.
Tram nearby and near the lake
run down apartment - no ensuite - all quite old Roadworks were horrendous No staff just grumpy security guys Lobby area tired and not needing repair
The apartment as a two bedroom apartment as promised, and the kitchen facilities were good.
The road at the front (Queens Quay West) was being resurfaced during our stay, completely blocking any pick-ups and drop offs at the residence. The second bedroom was split by a glass door half way across the room. Nearby freeway made it very noisy at night
Location of building easily accessible to downtown amenities. Street car at bottom of Spadina for easy travel.
Building and apartment (although was very clean) was in need of upgrade. Looking a little "tired".
Will never stay there again, Dirty
This place was the opposite of the photographs that portray the rooms. The rooms are old, carpets stained and walls marked. The apartments are next to the express way so at 4am every morning you will be awoken by loud traffic. We left our room two days early and Glengrove refused to refund the remainder of our stay.
The amenities were more than I expected… cleaning products, soap, shampoo, loads of towels, extra bedding, pillows, etc. The apartment was clean. The carpet was old and needed replacing, but had clearly been vacuumed before we arrived. Good location for the price.
The apartment had been advertised to have a bedroom with two full beds, but the second bed was really a fold-away. The room was small for two beds, but my kid were still fairly comfortable. The blankets were pretty shabby and had some stains. I would suggest bringing your own. Carpet needed replacing.
A lot of towels, the view, and the spot
L'entrée sentait terriblement les poubelles, It was smelling like garbages in the hallway. The carpet ine the apartment was dirty.
This is waterfront apartment building with unoccupied units, privately rented by an outside company. The location and water views were amazing. If you're looking for a cheap place to sleep and a small kitchen, this is the perfect place for you.
The building is dated. Housekeeping is a once per week vacuuming and dusting. There is no staff on location. The television was non-functional and the thermostat is locked at 23C. If you're looking for a resort, look elsewhere. If you are self sufficient and want to stay on the cheap, stay here.
security staff was freindly and helpful, room was clean and had useful appances we dident think we'd have to use (such as a rice cooker). we were attending fan expo 2014 and the fact it was in walking distance was awsome. the fact theres a shoppers on sited even more so.
could use heavyer blankets in the closest for if half the people like the apt run cold. blankets are to short on bed to cover upper torso without untucking. while not directly there fault we could of used a warning about the fact that constuction on queens quay made it impossible to go one direction (makeing it diffcult to find and get to the aptment.) while not nessary the addtion of a small container to hold milk would of been awsome as we did not bring our own.
Location was superb Price for 2 room suite over 3 nights Extra bedding for additional guests
No clear instructions on how to find the amenties (pool, jacuzzi etc)
liked the beds, location, layout, security
blinds needed replacing, stains on carpet and chair seats. bathroom small and only one for two bedrooms and multi people facility.
Location is ideal,
flooring was grubby and carpet threadbare in place's, some of the blinds were broken so rooms very light not good I you want a lay in!
