Glenogle Mountain Lodge and Spa

We had a wonderful stay at Glenogle Lodge, Doris and her husband are very friendly, kind and wonderful hosts. The food there is fantastic, the cabins both comfortable and cozy, and the scenery is gorgeous.

Great welcome from host and all of staff. Doris and her family are amazing. Great food! Super place to relax and enjoy friends, family, etc.

The staff at Glenogle were very accommodating and wonderfully attentive. The food Doris prepares is five star, and the atmosphere in the main lodge great room is inviting and cozy. The room was clean, comfortable, and had ample space for all of my things. I would stay at Glenogle again for certain!

I'm not sure I'd want to come that distance from Golden in the winter. Off-season and summer are very nice indeed! A trail or two for walking would be nice. . . .

Anyone could look directly into living room/kitchen Grossly overpriced

The Lodge itself is beautiful building in very attractive surroundings wand is very comfortable, clean, spacious and family friendly. Host Doris was warm, welcoming, very helpful and a wonderful cook! Our meals were amazing. We loved staying at Glenogle and would definitely return.

The owners were very friendly and helpful, we had a great time. We were only able to stay long enough for breakfast, which was delicious and more than enough food. Doris was very accomadating with my daughters vegan diet, the pancakes she made were wonderful! The bed was very comfortable, the room was large and very clean.

Doris and Norbert, the proprietors, are very nice and accommodating. We really enjoyed meeting them. And the cooking is insanely good. Doris is an amazing cook. Her secret pancake recipe is like nothing we've ever had - and we couldn't stop eating them. We had breakfast and dinner at Glenogle and it was truly outstanding. We stayed in Cabin #1 and really enjoyed the king size bed and extra space. The location is on a quiet road northeast and above Golden that has easy access to beautiful rivers and valleys to the north of Golden. We really enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I definitely enjoyed our stay at Glenogle Mountain Lodge and would not only come and stay again, but most definitely we would tell our family and friends about it. We were greeted by Doris the owner , a very lovely lady and her daughter and two beautiful children. The atmosphere was so relaxing and Doris went out of her way to accommodate us, as we arrived later in the evening. The food was exceptional and the service wonderful and extremely friendly. We would highly recommend this place to anyone.

We stayed at the end of July at this property. We stayed in two bed room suit. Actually I booked this hotel by seeing a review. I was in an opinion that the reviews are self generated by the managements. To our surprise it was proved wrong as well my family felt it was one of the best experiences we ever had in staying in a hotel. We were in reality well greeted and cared by the couple who maintains the place. Our rooms were very clean, we felt very homely, check in, and checkout were fast, we had an excellent dinner and breakfast. We definitely stay here again. We recommend anyone who would like to stop by near Golden bc should try this place.

A beautiful location in Golden, Alberta! I originally looked at Banff and Lake Louise. This was a good choice when those were full. Glenogle was immaculate, beautiful, and well managed. The breakfast for 15 dollars is highly recommended!

Very unique lodge with very friendly staff and with very good food. A very pleasant stay. A little drive from the Transcanada Hwy but the experience is worth it.

Very peaceful setting with a beautiful view over the mountains and a lovely stream nearby. The hosts were very welcoming and the food was exceptional! The lodge is unique and overall provides great value compared to alternatives in the area.

owners are very friendly and helpful. location is in the isolated but still 5 min drive from town making it very peaceful and quiet. good opportunity for hiking, biking and nature watching. we only ate breakfast but Doris does a wonderful job of preparing whatever you wish and the home made preserves, pancakes etc are excellent.

We arrived as guests and left as part of Norbert & Doris's extended family. For us that is as good as it gets. Highest recommendation of all the B & B's we stayed at in BC & Alberta.

Very peaceful; beautiful mountain views. Excellent food with a very friendly atmosphere. Lovely hosts. My daughter & I had a very relaxing & pleasant 2 night stay at Glenogle & hope to return again some day.

I would recommend this place to anyone who just wants to get away for a few days or be gone for weeks. Doris and her husband were amazing, when they greeted us it was warm and with hugs. Our cabin was amazing, the king bed was so comfortable. The second day we enoyed spa services (infrared sauna) and it was very clean also. Breakfast was handmade by Doris with her own homemade pancake batter which my fiancee loved. We had our own propane barbeque on our porch, and a patio set which we got good use out of. I can't say enough good things about the Glenogle Lodge, and would recommend it to anyone and everyone who asked.

We really enjoyed our stay, a beautiful setting and a lovely view on the terrace from a very comfortable bedroom. Doris greeted us in a very friendly manner, and made us very welcome, a lovely lady. We enjoyed the very good breakfast and would not hesitate to go back if we are ever back in Canada, which I hope we are.
