In Central Toronto and just steps from the local metro stops this hostel offers spacious shared and private rooms. The on-site bar, The Cavern, features live bands most nights of the week.

Bathroom and restroom were the nicest and cleanest Place at the Hostel.
Staff was not really friendly, My room unfortenately not clean, any hoes to hang My coat and less spaces to store its private stuff. All the Building looks very old and not really smart!
The location was great Staff were friendly and helpful Rooms had a tv, a/c and heating
There wasn't much privacy in the showers and the wifi was slow, so slow!
I don't like
I don't like .
The location of this hostel is excellent - steps away from so many great restaurants and bars!!
When I glanced in to the kitchen it wasn't very appealing, just a little run down and old.
The building was in well shape, and its location gives you access to plenty of buses, streetcars and metro stations. Staff was nice and helpful. The guests were very quiet for a Saturday night.
The only downside I found was the cleanliness of beds. They were nice beds but they were a little dirty and smelly, and that makes the hole room to be smelly as well.
The location is very good, especially to students. The internet is stable and clean.
The bed makes a lot of noise, if you move on the bed, everybody wake up.
It was located within Chinatown, so if that's your thing you're in the right place! Lots of fresh fruits and veggies. Breakfast was casual, toast cereal milk coffee butter jam peanut butter
The wifi in the lobby isn't great, but there's a computer and the wifi in the room is great
I liked the staff who helped me get a refund and their care and concern. I liked that I could park inside a locked garage as I was concerned as to the state my rental would have been had it been left outside.
I didn't like the noisy location, the small room, no hanging facilities, no storage and unclean rooms and kitchen. I didn't like the limited breakfast, I don't think the Continental people would want to be associated with the grim selection of food. I didn't like the dirty fridges stuffed with food.
Clean friendly people and comfortable.
No clean, noisy
The location is good.
WiFi connection is very bad, it can be easily improved. Several works at night hours.
Shared bathrooms were not cleaned.
Clean,Kindly stuff,Low cost
clean,kindly stuff,low cost good hostel!!
Rooms should be in uniform standard. Also need to air conditioned especially during hot season. Bed also need to be of standard unlike currently where old beds are used
Staff was the most kind one ever
From Niagara Falls and was in Toronto for the night with a few buddies. The man and women working the front desk were very nice. They mistakenly charged my credit card twice and fixed it immediately. Room was clean and other guests seem to be normal backpackers. I've stayed in many hostels and this one was fine in my opinion. The hostel nicely located in a "hipster" part of town. Would stay again!
I tried calling the hostel several times at different points in the day and no one ever answered the phone.
Clean washroom with shower and towels in the room. It is very clean. You are at the main hub of down town Toronto. There are great Resteraunts within 1 to 2 minutes walking distance. Public transportation is right outside. You are within 5. Minutes using public transportation to the CN Tower and Harbour Front. You are within 1 minute walking to the Eatons Center.
Location was so nice
-beds wobbled and squeaked anytime you moved.
Proximity to Kensington Market & helpfulness of staff were the highlights of our stay. Nearby connections to public transportation made it easy to get to wherever we needed to go while enjoying the benefits of a unique neighborhood.Bathrooms & showers were neat & clean.
Would have liked one chair at least in the room which was definitely big enough to handle a chair even with four people in the room....
Beds were super comfy, toilets were really fresh (never seen such fresh toilets at a hostel before), and the location was perfect. Thumbs up for this one!
Wifi did not work in the main area and the breakfast was quite terrible. And of course as an European in North America: The coffee was tasteless and weak!
They were suppose to give me a towel upon my arrival and they never did. One of my roommates occupied 2 beds including the one I was using. I had to call the manger to remove his belongings. The roommate got back around 3am drunk and was conformational. It was the wrose experience of my life.
Big, roomy, quiet
the location was good, easy to get to subway, bus, shopping and lots of food options nearby; budget-friendly.
The included breakfast is a big disappointment, only toast and coffee which was horrible. Staff is not friendly or helpful; booked through a third party and nowhere in the reservation is the customer informed of a $20 key deposit - until you get there. The staff made me feel like I was scamming them for bringing it to their attention, told me rudely that it is clear on the reservation (it is not, I double-checked). Last but not least, they tried to charge me $15 for parking on their premises when I did not have to pay for overnight parking on the street right across from them - it was Sunday and the City does not start charging until 1 p.m. I was told by desk staff 7 a.m. and that I would get a big ticket if I did not move my car by that time. It felt like they were trying to make an extra buck any way they could. Not impressed. My first and last time there. I went to another hostel on Church Street the very next day.
There was a better hostel round the corner.
They closed at 8pm, we arrived at 10pm. They left a number on the door for us to call but they wouldn't answer all night so we would have been homeless if it wasn't for the kindness of the hostel round the corner. No apology, charged us for the night still. No wifi, they put men in women only dorms in the middle of the night, without telling the women! Security and hygiene are both a massive concern. No smoke alarms. And the manager is definitely a perv and a creep. Women especially beware.
