could get a smoking room and it was a detail mentionned on our booking, but at our arrival no smoking room available

Many years ago it was excellent.

Cleanliness, worn carpets, old tv, breakfast that you pay with room.

The hotel is conveniently located near transit and great shopping.

Everybody was very helpful and friendly.

Very clean, location great for proximity to metro,

But also located in an area which is populated with a lot of homeless people who spend their day outside the hotel and on the side street little if any atmosphere. Beautiful grand piano in lobby with padlock and key and has not been opened in 8 years and nobody has the key,despite a few people wishing to play it. Swimming pool very small , overcharged in hotel for parking which we did not use as we paid for parking next door at half the price. Breakfast was included for contintental which was a muffin and coffee and squash orange juice.. To upgrade to a standard breakfast was an extra $13 (despite being priced at $13 for guests, this was despite having paid for continental.)

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The dog policy was fair. The city view was great from the 23rd floor.

The flimsy plastic cups were annoying (but not unreasonable at my price point).

i felt very safe,there was everything a person could want,all around from shopping your restaurants were very good and your staff was very personable...i would return for another stay anytime...

Very nice location, close to metro.

Very cold, heat was at 30, but room stayed at 18. terrible plumbing, filthy bathtub. Toilet clogs to easily. Out dated fixtures in rooms. Booked a queen room, non smoking and ended up getting stuck with a 2 double room, on a smoking floor. My girlfriend complained the whole time about her allergies and all of the smoke.

- Staff was trying their best with the hotel they have - beds were clean - convenient location, although some shady people are nearby outside

- WiFi didn't work the first night - first room offered had bad toilet - when asked to be moved, was charged for upgrade - old tv, furniture

There were only clear plastic cups to drink from so that the coffee machine was not of much use.
