Score from 882 reviews Good
Good location, friendly staff, ability for late check out.
The staff was very accommodating to our needs. The location was close to the Bus depot, supermarket and other amenities.
Bed was saggy, the toilet ran all night despite two visits to "fix" it, room and hallways look dated and somewhat run down.
Pillows and matress was comfortable. The view from higher floor and no street noise.
No hot water in the shower during the last morning, bathroom door stuck quite a bit and broken toilet seat. Very expensive to make local call from the room phone.
Large room on business floor. Fantastic walk in shower, good breakfast. Close to metro.
Nice pool. Big enough to swim laps
In the evening, WiFi internet was so slow that it was practically unusable; the connection was interrupted every few minutes. The hotel apparently does not provide enough bandwith. If you need WiFi, choose a different place.
Did not have WiFi in our room had to go down the hall near the lifts every time to get it to work
Courteous service, everything explained to us upfront.
Parking garage was meant for smaller cars we think. Was fun to maneuver in some of the spots. On our second night, we did not have a designated spot but they managed to find us one on another level. Also garage was not meant for tall people as I found out.
Eric on the front desk was amazing to deal with!
Hotel is need of renovations
the food , meaning poor breakfast.
Nice location in the old quarter of Montreal. The room was a good size, The breakfast, while not included in the price, was good value and quality. Parking was beneath the hotel, and with the exchange of a voucher at the check-in, was free for the duration.
Our room was right behind the elevator, and we heard it rumbling during the night. Otherwise, the room was very quiet. Might be worth asking for a room not near the elevator well.
The 29th concierge floor was very nice. I used the business center. The view from my room of downtown was fabulous. Sammy at the front desk was always very friendly and always so helpful. He is the best. I will be back!
I wish you had movies available for purchase to watch in the room. I also wish you had an complimentary newspaper available in English.
Piscine Sauna Room Emplacement Prix Staff
The homeless rallye right in front but it's notre tour fault.
Staff was extreamly welcoming
The breakfast voucher only being worth 5$ when it should be 10$ like the price of the breakfast itself , paid extra 13$ for eggs and meat and it was all cold
Service was ok, location is great(walking distance to everything) great spacious clean room with a desk and lots of lights.
The entire floor hall way area carpet looks like need to be upgraded or to be washed to improve quality of the service.
Lobby is attractive, room was comfortable although a bit small. Service people were helpful.
Because I'm more used to motels, I missed not having a frig and microwave. But figuring out the breakfast hierarchy with the "free breakfast" coupon was off-putting. There is basic which the coupon, worth about $5.00 entitles you to - juice, coffee and pastries. 2nd level includes fresh fruit and cheeses for about $10.00, but if you want a hot breakfast, eggs, pancakes etc, you need to pay $10 or $12 more. I've never encountered this kind of system on any so-called "free breakfast".
Personal is doing his best go accommodate you.
Toasters at the restaurant, are so slow that people were leaving their bread into the toasters. Obsolete equipment? The desk lamp in my room was not working. Should be checked by housewife.
Perfect for our needs
Staff is friendly and attentive. Upon leaving, I forgot my personal device in room, but "Lost&Found" personnel responded quickly and successfully sent me my device back. Good price/quality ratio. Nice pool. Nice city view.
The location is good in general (close to Berri-UQAM station), but there were homeless and drunk people around (begging for money), which was unpleasant.
Hard to say
The quality and cleanness of the room. Multiple spots on the carpet and the bed was uncomfortable
location, nice view on Montreal from the rooms, swimming pool
with online booking, breakfast is very limited in choice and in quality. you need to upgrade to buffet breakfast to have fresh fruits and hot meals the heating/cooling system is very noisy
- Reception very friendly and accommodating - Rooms comfortable
- Continental breakfast with only unhealthy carb choices - Expensive to upgrade to full breakfast which did not offer much variety
No bath tub in the room
How quiet and restful is the hotel. Slept like a log. Very quiet. Breakfast just great. Auberge is so centrally located, convenient. Will return to this hotel next time I visit Montreal.
Room in slight need to be refreshed, especially bathroom.
