View from the unit was fabulous! A quiet location and large unit.
Kitchen facilities were dated. No ice on site; had to drive to Huntsville.
The resort was okay
I don't like hidden taxes and fees.
reception desk personnel is very helpful.
Old rug smell is terrible. they should renew it.
Everything was excellent minus what is written in the negative comment side.
There was no bed sheets or anything extra for the pull out couch bed. Simply had to put extra layers of clothes on and sleep accordingly.
Provided access to Clublinks Grandview Golf Club which was excellent.
Disappointing that pool was not operational.
The condo itself was great, and the location was great. It was handy to the 2 high end golf courses in the area and to Huntsville.
We had no ameneties. No housekeeping service, no pool, no restaurant, even had to dump our own garbage. Grandview is certainly no resort and should not be passing itself off as one. The fee should have been much lower than it was. We did not know that the resort has actually been closed for more than 2 years
Outdoor and indoor pool closed! No complimentary coffee, which most motels/hotels offer. No ice available. The balcony was not clean. No extra blanket for the pullout couch. TV reception not acceptable.
I loved my Muskoka-flavored suite! Lots of room, lovely private porch setting, beautifully renovated: like a home away from home!
Sign on grounds said outdoor swimming pool but it was still under tarp/out of service. They might think about removing that sign?
Accommodation was spacious and provided a good base to explore the lovely town and surrounding area
Sorry to say we couldn't describe it as a resort as all amenities were closed down ie. pool. Given wrist bands to go to the beach which was a sandy area with broken jetties and a closed down restaurant and a few scattered sun beds. However the golf course was well maintained , but we weren't their for the golf !
Location is the only great quality
The resort is run down it really should not be a resort classification there is only rooms now no restaurants no amenities of resort standard very disappointed. For 200 a night I would give a 3 star rating asking way to much for what you get no wifi no coffee in the room no shower products in the bathroom.
spacious appartment, green surroundings
Even though it was stated on our booking, on the booking.com page describing the place, there was no WLAN (with charge or free) available, we had to go to Huntsville into Tim Hortons to use internet. There are only 2 to 4 appartments with internet available on the whole premise!! Our appartment was not clean, dirty linnen, dirty oven, dirty and rusty freezer compartment, there was still used soap with hairs on from former guests in the bath and old coffee grind in the coffee machine. The resort facilities are all closed. The beach is not looked after at all. It's a sad and run down place.
It was like our home had 2 bedroom living room dining room and kitchen 2 bathroom
The ground weren't as nice in need of repair
Near a golf course and a sweet if a bit abandoned beach. Not many people about. Nice air conditioning.
No wireless. Balcony in shade all day! Poor bathroom facilities . Tiny towels provided. No leaflet of how to make television work : very complicated to go ask the Reception. No television channel working in Bedroom and about 3 channels only in living room. Next door had a BIG party till 10 with a lot of LOUD music and a lot of shouting/screaming. I did complain to front desk but nothing changed!!! But the worst was the absence of proper curtains so I meant that it was difficult to fall asleep AND being woken up around 3/4pm onwards!!! Very very unsatisfactory to us! That was the biggest problem of our stay (you're already battling with jetlag : not a good combo!!!)
Our Unit was very good and served our purpose for the weekend. Have stayed few time before. Joanne and Kristine in the office were very helpful
Absolutely no amenites. Highly overpriced for value received. Until a sale is finalized the complex will be in limbo and rental units will have nothing extra to attract people like oursleves. We couldn't even find the rental offices. No signage
The golf course, the location and the accommodation were all fantastic.
The main resort is closed so some facilities are not operational. The microwave was missing a plate and the hot and cold water labelled incorrectly in one shower. None of these items had a major impact on our stay.
the place was clean and calm.the staff was quite helpful.
It was advertised as a golf-resort but we could not rent out clubs nor was there a discount for people staying in the resort. There was no barbecue grill either,in our one b/r suite. It being a canada day weekend,it was disappointing.
It was a good getaway. The place was clean and had all the China one needs. It was a pleasant stay. Will visit again I summer.
Nothing worth mentioning.
The unit was very dated, old in fact. The temperature control did not work in the living area, could not warm up that part of the room. TV in living area also had very poor reception. Overall was not that impressed. I have stayed there before in much nicer units, this stay was disapointing!
Wood burning fireplace
Nothing was good
The place was amazing and I couldn't believe how beautiful the hotel installations are
Liked the size of the condo and the fully equipped kitchen. Loved the wood burning fireplace!
TV in the bedroom did not work. Front panel to the bathtub was not secured. I had to sign a "damage waiver" BEFORE we even saw the room and then I had to report several deficiencies upon our departure.
A really nice place to stay.
Gorgeous property and area. Receptionist was very helpful. Property in period of transition at this time. Have stayed there several years back when was a fully operational resort. Now, it is more like a vacation rental property. Not many amenities. I understand that property is being purchased and will be reopened as a resort in near future.
