Score from 257 reviews Very good
Close to a variety of restaurants.
The location was hard to find. They gave no indication their hot tub was not working until I got there.
Clean Rooms- Great staff - did not see much in facilities as wee at a reception but they did not have music
We were on the 4th floor but the music from a wedding was really disruptive and hard to sleep will about 230 am
The cancellation policy and when I received my bill there were several other taxes on it and the girl at the front desk couldn't explain any.
Everything esle was really good
The Shuttle driver drove fast and was talking on her cell phone and driving over the lines into on-comming lanes. She indicated she did not like all the high beam headlights coming at her. As a Safety Proffessional this behaviour was totally unacceptable.
No free breakfast shuttle runs to Airport only
Not much!cheap enough!!
No continental breakfast.dirty dirty dirty!!!!Ajoining resturant staff was very rude.
The pool and hot tub were closed for renovation, yet there was no warning of this when we booked our stay.
Cleanness, Price, Service
Room was Clean Transportation is OK Environment was Accptable
The hotel is very nice and comfortable but lacks the convenience of the city center. Without a car would be difficult. There is a C Rail station which is reasonably close which is great for getting to the city center. $9 for a day pass. Park the car for free or get a taxi to the station. Easy to reach from the airport.
Breakfasts are not included in the price and there was no real atmosphere in the restaurant. I was the only one there some days.
Has a bad smell in the main areas which usually means dirty environment. No safe in my room.
nothing at all
Refused to accept my reservation even though I had a confirmation letter saying it was a system error. Made me and my 80 year old mother wait in the lobby till 3 am and finally gave us a room which went unoccupied and only gave us 1 room instead of the 2 rooms booked Staff had no remorse or sympathy, offered no apology or concession did not try to find us alternate accommodation, their excuse all of Calgary was sold out.
nothing to be mentioned
the appliances were not working properly the bathroom was not clean, we booked a two queens bed room and upon arrival they told us that they haven't received the confirmation from booking.com and the only option for us was a one kings bed room or we try other hotels
Garbage all in the front enterance.. People parting all night long in the hallwalls constantly being woken up.. Smashed glasses and bottles all over the parking lot
Was there only for a short visit
Very strong cigarette smell
- friendly staff - comfortable bed
- not the best location if you don't have a car
No milk/cream for in room coffee. Coffee not available without buying breakfast. Poor breakfast service; had to wait a long time for the food. Breakfast buffet would have been faster, easier and better choice. Although on the second floor, unable to take the stairs as they went directly outside, and not to the lobby.
The bed was super comfy cosy. I slept like a log.
I didn't like the fact that I had to scrub the bathtub before I got in as it was a bit filthy. There was no hotel book to peruse through to find out about the restaurant downstairs, things to do in the area, etc. I had asked for a map for a quicker route to the airport, but they gave me this old printout with an old name for the hotel and the desk clerk gave us a general idea of whereit was. But because of construction and no airport markers, we eventually found it.
good service, location about as good as possible right now and better than some for foot access to shopping, places to eat and train downtown.
The construction being done on the airport hampers all access to it right now. Signage not particularly good--which is no fault of the hotel. That's an issue for airport and road officials to address.
WiFi signal is good. Bed is not bad.
Front desk staff and lights at the main door too dim. Drunk guests outside from 1-5 in the morning. No security staff to control them.
Too expensive. Shuttle to airport wasn't avaliable and taxi very expensive. No swimming polo, no hot tub...
Staff was very friendly, cleanliness, swimming pool , good location close to the airport and restaurants. We love this place and going back again next time!!!! THANK YOU for making our time in Calgary so comfortable.
It was impossible connect to the internet in the room, only the lobby location was having a good signal.
Clean room and bathroom. easy to find location. check-in and check out seemed smooth enough. beds and pillows were comfortable. plenty of free parking.
We didn't even get into our room as the keys were improperly programmed. got our keys reprogrammed. we hadn't been in our room a half hour and we had another family coming in because they had been assigned the same room! Had to get our keys programmed again because they had to deactivate all the keys. i thought it was weird the room had two mouthwash, a lotion, conditioner but no shampoo. The wi-fi was a complete write off. not even enough signal to check Facebook. my son couldn't stream netflix at all. we got a really lame excuse from hotel about other guests using multiple devices and maxing out the wi-fi . very disappointing. the outside garbage was a disgrace. over full and spilling onto parking lot.
The rooms were not too bad. The shower was probably the best part. My granddaughter enjoyed the pool.
WiFi was not always available. The halls to the rooms were filthy. The noise level was loud. The front desk staff when checking out was very rude.
