Grouse Creek Motel  

its clean and comfortable

I loved this motel! Freshly painted inside and out and so conveniently located to everything that I needed to be near! I would highly recommend it to other travels whether on business or pleasure! Very sound proof rooms, spaciously appointed. I loved it here and will be back! Well done everyone at the Grouse Creek Motel!

The price was reasonable and close to where i needed to be

Room was clean and comfortable.

Did not recieve the room I reserved as they has overbooked. I requested a kitchenette and there was no hot plate and had to request dishes.

Friendly, accommodating staff

Room was a bit too warm for us, but they took care of it for us as soon as we asked.

The bed was very comfortable

The shampoo packages were extremely difficult to open...we had to cut them open, good thing I had a little scissor with me!! There was no alarm clock in the room. A small fridge sure would have been nice. Some of your towels need to be thrown out...they were so thin that they did not dry!! There should have been a kleenex box in the room. When was the last time the carpet in our room (#118) was cleaned or replaced...it was filthy!!

Very comfortable room, immaculately clean and friendly service at a good price.

All that was missing was coffee in the room. Having to go out to get coffee (and crossing a very busy highway, if you go by foot) is not what one wants to do while still waking up. I need the coffee before I try to negotiate traffic.

This Motel has been a home for a week and we were able to relax and enjoy the surroundings,the location served all needs ...We were able to shop at the ample Malls... large or small... Also we had places to dine close by. I can honestly say that the experience while staying there was great!!!

The wifi was fast and reliable, the room was warm and comfortable. The price is the best you'll find in the area, very close to the Surrey Memorial Hospital but not much else.

Staff were not friendly, and the area/type of guests that the venue attracts make a solo traveller uneasy. Housekeeping was going to enter my room while I was showering, no 'do not disturb' sign provided.

It was clean and the bed was really comfortable.

The water pressure was a dribble.

The room was clean and the price was right.

There wasn't any coffee which was fairly frustrating especially after trying to have a shower and there wasn't any hot water.

it was only a 10 minute walk to holland park where the concert was

Rooms were clean but very outdated. Don't spend too much time in the room.

The room was spotless and appeared to be quite new. A comparable 1 bedroom suite at any other motel would have been more than double the price. 2 blocks from the skytrain. This is going to be the motel I use from now on when I go to Vancouver. I checked out the 2 other motels in the area for the same price (Hotel Holleywood and Bonanza) and comparatively speaking was I glad I didn't stay in them!

Fridge was a little noisey, but you could hear it with the bedroom door closed.

The clerks were very nice, and helped me get the tv to work. They were also very gracious about refunding the second and third days.

It was cold, had a tiny tv that never worked for anything that I wanted to watch (it seemed that you had to pay for some channels, although when checking out the next morning, the clerk said that wasn't true). Lighting was bad for reading or working with my computer.
