Everything from A to Z especially friendly customer service from the stuff :)) 1. Best location and close from Eaton Center. 2. Good view to the Lake side. 3. Luxury lobby and dinning hall Based on my Travel experiences this is one of my best hotel chose. I had stayed there for 12 days and i found the following: 1. Breakfast is typical and not testy. 2. The mattress is not healthy, we had back pain. 3. internet is slow a

I liked that it was hardwood floors and close to the Eaton centre. There was always someone there to open the doors. The breakfast was good. It did not have a shuttle to the airport. I did not feel safe in that area. It also said that it had a Jacuzzi tub but it was just the name brand and the tub was the same as any other.

We enjoyed having breakfast on the garden patio. This was the only redeeming part of our stay. As someone who has stayed at this hotel year after year, this was absolutely below our expectations. We travel around the country conducting workshops and staying in hotels and the service this time was unacceptable. Not once, from checkin to checkout were we thanked for our business. The receptionist at checkout hardly said anything and left a sour note on our already disappoinrting weekend. We felt as if we were a burden as I asked for ice and had to phone twice within a 15 min time span to receive it. Even the simple act of asking for a latte was treated as an inconvenience for the staff in the restaurant. The bed, considered a luxury king, was lumpy and uncomfortable. Will never stay at this hotel again.

Our stay was wonderful. The hotel was spotless and the service was excellent. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was in the lovely dining room and there were loads to pick from. Only a 6 minute walk to the Eaton's Centre which was very convenient. Approximately $8 - 9.00 for a cab ride to Union Station.

Nice hotel. Great view from our room. Liked the free wi-fi. A bit too expensive though and the location is in a sketchy neighbourhood. Couldn't walk anywhere because of that. Had to take cabs. We also could not leave our car at the entrance to check-in as it only allowed 2 vehicles. Which were cabs sitting there. We parked across the street to check in and someone had tried to break in our car, while we registered! So ..... I'd rather not stay there again unless the rate was under $100 per night.

Excellent room facilities and cleanliness. Attractive lobby and restaurant. Location was close to city centre attractions (but see below). Staff very helpful. Restaurant prices. Breakfast mediocre. Impressions of immediate environs of hotel seemed quite run down and not the place to be out late at night although very close to centre.

We had an amazing one night stay. It was so luxurious and clean and private. The parking was inconvenient and expensive and the public parking nearby didn't look safe.

I have been traveling for 25 years on various business related excursions. Although costly, (in my terms) I have never felt more comfortable in a hotel room away from home. It made me feel almost like being home! With the 13% tax added, it was very costly.

The hotel was nice. The room a bit small but clean. The bathroom was right next to the bed which is a poor arrangement. Breakfast was included and good. The parking facilities are very poor and I would not stay at this hotel again for this reason.

Everything was so easy. Location was perfect for shopping and shows. Staff was very helpful. Room was much more than we expected. Parking though was an extra cost was reasonable and felt very secure. We are already planning more trips and will definitely stay at the The Grand again. Thank you! Room was so comfortable we missed breakfast.

within walking distance to the Eaton Centre and restaurants around the Eaton Centre I was of the understanding that the 13% tax was excluded and that the total hotel room price for the two nights was $338.00 but in fact another $48.88 was added on to the rate for HST. Also adding on another $43.00 for the parking made it a very expensive two night stay.

I love the large rooms and the gorgeous hotel. The staff were very friendly but I think all the girls were made to wear low cut tops and bustiers underneath. Very trampy looking and not nice to see at the front desk. Bad end of town with lots of street bums and beggars.

The staff were all great ! The breakfast was excelent and very organized.........food was top notch ! Valet guys were excellent and professional. Location perfect. No movie rental on tv..........very inconvenient. Left a message at the spa on Sat at about 4 pm...........still had not heard from anyone at 11 the next morning. Front desk staff had no answers, nor did they look into it. It was Mother's Day.and my daughter and I were looking forward to some spa time. Very dissappointing ! Sauna had a dirty towel on the bench...........soiled with what looked like blood.

The room was spacious, comfortable bed, nice linens, good view. Appreciated the mini kitchen, including fridge, dishes, microwave, sink. The swimming pool was very lovely and clean. The hottubs on the roof were great at sunrise - clean. The floor of the room could have been cleaner
