Beds very comfortable. Parking very easy and reasonable price. Breakfast was nice addition.
Rooftop hot tubs closed, nothing on site saying that. Was looking forward to that. View from bedroom of Fillmores not great for my daughter to see. Bathroom tiny for room.
My partner and I stayed here for one night on 27 February . We hadn't seen each other in months so picked this hotel as we thought it would be nice. The main convincing factor was the hot tub which was out of order. Staff did not ask us how anything was upon check out which angered us further. I would not recommend this hotel as value for money .
the place was lovely , breakfast was great .
Brekfeast buffet was excellent
Pool water too cold
Beautiful hotel with friendly staff and guests, we loved how big our room was and the high ceilings.
Only things I didn't like was how small bathroom was,and at the breakfast buffet there wasn't enough seating for everyone
Friendly staff greet you at entry door. Elegant reception and relaxed bar and restaurant opposite. Spacious bedroom with stunning view. Great kitchen facilities in room. Superb hot tub on roof. Wonderful swimming pool in basement. Very polite and discreet staff. A great hotel.
The bed pillows were too hard, ie not soft enough, for my liking.
Parking was relatively cheap, location was good, rooms were very nice and the breakfast was great
The check in was very slow (~20mins) even though there was no one ahead of us and the person checking us in never even acknowledged, explained or apologized for the delay.
Everything ,underground parking,Breakfast,Pool,Hot Tubs. Friendly Bell Boy and staff.
The location was good. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The room was reasonably comfortable and clean (although the bathroom was not cleaned very well during our stay).
There was no full length closet or place to hang dirty winter coats - just a tiny half closet at the front door. The doors to the bathroom opened into the passage from the front door and while the room was spacious once you got it, it was poorly lit and very tight at the front door and passage way. There are small things that could be done to make it much more comfortable.
Pool is a bit cold and seem to irritate my skin.
The doorman is wonderful - super keen and enthusiastic, made me feel like a celebrity. The reception staff were mixed, one was very polite and courteous the other was aloof and a little bit rude.
Aloof staff member. Parking charges - $19 a night - the hotel room was expensive enough, there should be no parking charge so long as you are a registered guest at the hotel.
Comfortable bed ,large room . Great choice at breakfast . Staff all very friendly and helpful . Great location as close to Eaton Shopping Centre ,Tim Hortons right next door . Would stay agin and tell friends how great the hotel is .
Wish they had pancakes at breakfast ,but so much other choice e ,so just being picky .
Front desk staff are helpful. Rooms are spacious for 1. Wifi was great- no issues. Breakfast is nice to have fresh fruit not canned options.
Shuttle is not readily available. It is a bit of a walk to most restaurants, including coffee spots but short cab ride to most locations downtown, in the financial district or to the harbor. Did not feel comfortable walking in the area at night. Gluten free options on the breakfast buffet are limited( no cereal, bread or hot items other than the eggs).
My daughter and I came to Toronto for a few days during her reading week at university. From the minute we walked in,we felt like we were in a 5 star hotel. The staff was friendly and pleasant and the service was excellent. Doors were held open for us, our baggage was taken from the cab and delivered to our room and the front desk service was fast. On our last day,a cab to the airport was ordered for us while we had breakfast and the young man at the front desk came to get us when it arrived. On one day, we used the free shuttle service to get dropped off at the AGO which was nice. My daughter used the gym everyday and was very happy with the range of equipment offered and the cleanliness. Unfortunately, we never visited the rooftop but I guess we can do that on our next visit. The location of the hotel is great for getting around downtown Toronto and beyond. We were able to walk to St Lawrence market one day which took about 15 minutes. Also Dundas Square and Eaton Center are just a few blocks away and within easy walking distance. We look forward to coming back soon!
There were a few complaints. The sink in our room never really drained all that well. Also, I felt that the temperature in the room was always a bit on the warm side and it didn't help even when I turned the heat right off on the thermostat. This made it difficult for me to sleep at night as I like my room to be fairly cool at night. It didn't seem to bother my daughter though. Finally, the Wifi signal wasn't very strong at times.
I like the location and the decor, the rooms are not too small for a downtown city property.
Great facilities. Loved the videos and sound system on the roof top with the hot tubs. Great fitness facilities and amenities.
TV locations in room need improving. For a nicer hotel the lack of gluten free food and even less knowledge about by staff was disappointing. We have been to numerous lower scale hotels and restaurants that understand this allergy better.
The staff is extremely friendly! Helpful and courteous. The property is stylish and unique. Food in dining room very good. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Loved the location.
The pillows are a bit too firm for me.
Amazing amazing amazing
We loved everything best place to stay at.
Bell staff friendly and helpful
Reception staff cool and distracted. Design of bed right next to washroom as well as no room for night stand on this side due to design with air duct column felt somewhat cramped
Very nice hotel. Our Room was spacious and comfortable. Great staff, all very friendly.
My only let downs were not having wine glasses in the kitchen in the room, And breakfast was highly disorganized.
From the check in to check out everything was fantastic.... Great location, great value!
Restaurant has a very good menu at a reasonable price
Sitting area in the room was a waste of space, bathroom small, restaurant area was cold, breakfast room in too small for the number of people.
Excellent staff hospitality and very comfortable room!
I liked the rooftop hot tubs. And the complimentary breakfast was pretty decent. Underground parking is good but expensive.
The payment methods are very limited. Over paid for a room with no jacuzzi. The TV remote was missing batteries so it was a hassle changing channels.
Clean and fancy
