Staff is helpful. Location is really great, there are so many shops around. I can really call it a one maybe two star. Bed sheets are really old. Towels are not very good quality. You think they need to invest in buying some new equipment. It's very noisy, we could here people talking very loud in other suits. Even yelling and fighting around us one day. Late moving in and out, the floors are wood so you can hear everything. It seems like the place attract strange people. The place needs some investment in quality of equipments, etc. Everything is very minimally maintained. Compared to the price we payed, I don't think it worth it!

This hotel fit our budget. With one bedroom, living area with another bed and a small kitchen it was exactly what we needed as a small family with a 6 year old. It is very basic but does the job. Clean towels and sheets and in a great location. Plus free parking is a real cost saver in central Montreal and one of the reasons we chose this hotel.

The location and price were superb. I have recommended it to friends since my triip. I would stay there again. It is a budget priced hotel that was a surprise (a nice oone). Busy street stay at the back if possible. Free parking in Montreal was a bonus, parked the car and left it.

It is a shame that this place carries the name of hotel it is not. Not even a hostal. The room was absolutely filthy, the (kitchen) was a hole in the wall with everything in there so very flithy that was disgusting even to turn the light on. The tub was an ancient tub with not enough pressure. We stayed in the Suite that was a dump. This hotel dryes its towels and linens up in the air for all to see. The parking is a total mess with loonies all checking the parked cars.etc It was a a nightmare. No lift and we were in the fourth floor .

Excellent location. Near of many restaurants, bars, and supermarkets, subway stations, bus stops, etc. The room we stayed was big and have a kitchnet, which was very usefull. The bathroom was too small. The room was not very clean. The hostel is also very old and the floor is very noisy when anyone is walking.

We got a lot of good use out of the kitchen. Parking was not mentioned in the services available that I remember but most of the times there was a parking space available. If not we parked on the street. While it was a bit further from Old Montreal it was close to McGill University and Mont Royal. There is a great grocery store just around the corner which worked well for us as we ate in quite often. We were pleasantly surprised to find AC and free Wi Fi. It is good value for your money if you are not wanting fancy. If you like firm beds than it would work for you. The bathroom while cute was quite small and the water hot & cold depends on what else is running in the building.

I loved the ambience of the old building we were staying in. It was over a hundred years old and just perfectly located by all of the arts. A great area and a great woman taking care of us! She even did our laundry!

The free parking was definitely a huge plus. The room itself was so adorable! Lots of character and interesting furnishings. The bed was very comfortable, my friend took the sleeper couch and was fine on that as well. I loved having the little balcony to crawl out onto (the studios you climb through the window). The kitchen was fully stocked and everything was clean. The lady who runs the place was very nice. Despite being on a main street, the noise didn't bother me at all, and I also couldn't hear any of the other hotel patrons. You get a key for the outside door, so it's a secure building in that no one can just walk into, which made me and my friend, two young women, feel very safe by ourselves. The location is perfect, one block from Place Des Arts, two blocks from Rue Ste. Catherine, and just a five minute walk to McGill University. I will definitely stay at this hotel again next time I go to Montreal.

Clean kitchenette with stove, kettle, pots and dishes, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, air conditioner with remote control, room facing away from the street. Selection of teas (no coffee though - OK for me, but may be a source of complaint for other folk!). Water pressure in the upper floor rooms was OK for a nice hot shower. Arrived late and were allowed to check in first and pay after we returned from the event. Central location. Moderately priced. Free parking and Internet. Walls may need a fresh coat of paint, but for the price you pay compared to the other places - especially when you spend all the time out and just crash there for the night - who cares! Flat panel TV in the room, but had no time to use it. Though, ordered a non-smoking room, all rooms seem to be smoking, so we had to run a/c with open windows for all the time we were out to rid the room of the smell (though faint) of stale cigarette smoke. Bathtub could be cleaned cheaply and efficiently with Comet in 5 min - that is if it were cleaned properly. No closet in the suite (built-in or otherwise) to hang out the clothes - had to use the hook on the doors.

This hotel nwas very reasonably priced considering the excellent central location. The room was neat and tidy, I found the bed to be comfortable, not too soft a mattress and we found it comfortable. The heat might be an issue if the temps were very cold since theres only a baseboard heater but it wasnt an issue for us..All in all i would stay there again and would recommend it..Our room was 70$ for two people, one bed..Good value for downtown Montreal i would think.

Great value!!! Not the nicest room out there, but for four guys on a roadtrip, it was perfect. Great location, next to McGill, pubs on St. Laurent, and a short walk downtown. Free parking too! The people next to us were kicked out due to not paying. We heard the whole argument with the hotel manager. Definitely not the best place for a romantic getaway, but it was decent. The pictures and videos on the website were a little deceiving- the rooms were much older.
