Located next to Lac de l’Anse a l’Eau, this beautiful Tadoussac home serves a gourmet breakfast every morning. The Saguenay Fjord and St. Lawrence River are just a 6-minute walk away.
Score from 319 reviews Wonderful
Good location for sights, fair price for room, friendly lady owner
A few restaurant staff were quite vocally condescending to non-French speaking guests. Food was too pricey and not to many options close by.
-Bi-lingual staff -Walking distance to shops, parks, restaurants -Comp Keurig coffee in room
I really liked the fact that everything is a walking distance away.
1-No coffee in the room, you have to ask the front desk everytime for the K-Cups. 2-Wifi is terrible
The reception people were very nice and helpful. The location was great.
The room was too small. We booked for 3 adults but we did not have enough spot. The washroom also was nit comfortable.
the queen balcony room has a great view and warm sunshine in the late afternoon and the hotel is within walking distance to the waterfront
unfortunately the balcony also faces a main road where you hear alot of the traffic coming off the ferry
Quaint and cute accommodations. Included breakfast and whale watching package for the best value.
The 3rd floor rooms were a bit stuffy and hot when we arrived. The corridors had A/C which made it cool but the rooms themselves were hot.
The location was good but then again, Tadoussac is so small that it's hard for a location not to be good. The room was clean. The lady that greeted us at the reception was very nice.
Very small room and very hot and noisy. The food at the restaurant was terrible. We were given tepid water to drink. And the waitress -who subsequently warmed up- greeted us with annoyance because we were standing at the door... there was a sign indicating that we had to wait to be seated...
I liked the location and the bed was comfortable.
I was not too keen with the staff. A little rude when I would speak to him in English, I also know French, and even though I would switch, I was surprised that he would cut me off when I would try to explain something instead in English and when I simply corrected him, I thought it was alright to do so, guess not. I am perfectly bilingual, but a piece of advice for this hotel or any hotel, remember that tourists come from all over the world, and so I believe anyone working for any hotel business should be perfectly bilingual, especially anywhere in Quebec and/or Canada. Thank you. Merci.
The room was nice. The next door restaurant with the breakfast buffet was excellent and a good buy.
The noise from the highway kept us awake most of the night. If we closed the sliding glass door, it was very hot in the room and they did not provide fans.
The town of Tadoussac
It helps to speak French. Our room was dormered on the third floor, no elevator. Add'l 8 bucks for buffet breakfast not worth it. Soiled carpet in hallways.
Surprises with the price Poor climatisation
The room was clean and nice and at a ok location (Tadoussac is tiny).
No AirCon! It was 40 degrees in the room. The breakfast in the annex of the hotel was overpriced for what it was. If I went back I would not pick this hotel again.
Good price-quality-ration. Near by the habour where the whale watching ships starts. Good support in getting booked a whale watching tour incl. transfer bus from thr hotel. Dinner in the restaurant was good.
The breakfast was much to expensive. Save the money and take your breakfast somewhere outside.
The beluga hotel was the best hotel we had for our whole trip in Charlevoix! The bed was extremely comfortable (felt like sleeping on a cloud) and the double bed room was infact two bed rooms separated by the bath room. That is a clever configuration! Everything was very clean and we even had a balcony. (Room 250 ;0) )Breakfast buffet was very diversified ( pancakes, fruit, real waffle, eggs, bacon, etc.)
Unfortunately, the service at the restaurant at night was not super efficient. Food excellent but waiter not good. Overall still ok.
Check-in staff were very helpful. Hotel location was within 10 min walk of everything needed.
Beds were too soft for our liking and were positioned on spindly legs. Everytime my wife or I turned over the bed would jiggle and wake the other. There was no counter in the bathroom which made washing up with own items inconvenient. Breakfast was not worth the money.
Comfortable bed Good location
Questionable value for money No air conditionning Small room
We had booked gir only 1 night then decided to stay extra night. Young fellow at reception desk accommodated once he learned a room had become available . Made our stay a welcome one.
Staff was excellent and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable.
Pillows, fan had timer? Had to get up each couple hours to turn on.
Great staff, great location. Hotel was very clean and well maintained.
It wasn't a problem on out trip because it was fairly cool during our trip but there was no air conditioning in the room.
Good motel and good value for money
Location ...close to everything in town ...staff were friendly
Clean and comfortable; good location
No air conditioning, fan provided not really adequate even for early June. Way too many stairs for seniors to cope with.
Hotel comfortable and cozy. Rooms well decorated and great side view to the bay. Staff very friendly and gave good tipos in how to explore the area. Location is great, close to a great bakery, restaurants, a small grocery store and the turist information center. Bed very comfortable. Microwave avaliable on the first floor was very nice.
We stayed there for 3 nights and our room wasn't done on the 2nd day. Not sure if we had to display the sign asking for cleaning or not, but on the 3rd day they took care of our room and did a great job. It doesn't bother us, but I think it eirth to mention. It would be great to have a mini fridge on the room.
Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Close to restaurants.
A bit small. No elevator.
Very comfortable bedroom
No food provided in this period of the year at the hotel. Only two restaurants open in Tadoussac (one is even closed in the morning). Better not coming before the 15th of May...
