The size of the room. The beds were comfortable. The customer service was excellent.
front desk service
The beds were un-comfortable and had a un pleasant smell
The staff were very pleasant, friendly, and helpful with all our needs.
Nothing, everything was good
Helpful staff close to waterfront
Hotel showing it age
This was a short notice arrangement and late check-in and early departure. We were greeted by very friendly staff.
Bathroom door was difficult to close and the free wifi was excellent in the lobby however intermittent in the room.
Friendliness of manager, location, clean and comfortable
No screen on window so flies/mosquitos can enter
The location and price for what is available is not A.bad deal. The Hotel is tired and in need of an update. If your looking for luxury go elsewhere and pay the price.
The place needs an active on site Manager to clean up the Lobby area and check on the rooms.
Nothing. It was horrible!!! The owners were rude. Didn't care at all. Hotel was full of crack addicts! The fact this hotel was available on Booking.com is a disgrace. We left a night early and they charged us anyway!! Complained to Booking.com and they did NOTHING!!!
I didn't like EVERYTHING! Worst hotel experience of my life!!!
Within walking distance of town. Very quiet.
Building in rough condition. Room not very lean.
Friendly staff, close to shops and laundymat
Convenient for the trip we wanted to do.
Receptionist a bit creepy. Hotel generally a bit run down. Room not made up - we were told the housekeeper had not reported for work. No hint of an apology from the receptionist - he seemed to think it was funny. Problem with leaky taps - perhaps the maintenance staff had not reported for work as well. Had to scour the area for a decent restaurant. Downtown Campbell River is a bit run down.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Value for money
It was a very old hotel, a bit run down, no air conditioning, fan in room did not work, room smelled like smoke, the room next to ours were smoking and it came through the bathroom fan, as well as pot smoke from the next room coming in the window.
Cleanliness is poor; you could write in the muck in the window (which did not lock). The bed tipped up when you sat on it. A mercury tilt switch was exposed; dangerous. The floor was uneven. There are paint splashes in the bathroom, a gap in the shower attachment. It was horrible. Oh yes, and there is an "exotic showbar" out the back with clients who shout out at 3.00am in the corridor.
No air conditioning, dirty
Good location. Peter and staff were great. Great value. Pleasant atmosphere.
Central Location Parking Clean Helpful staff
Dated and smoky
The staff were really courteous and friendly. Although decor was very dated, the rooms were very clean and had everything I needed. I'm a very frequent traveller all over the world and consider myself quite picky, on arrival I was a bit unsure, but really a good stay and great value!
While it's across the street from the waterfront, it's not in the greatest end of the town centre.
- Friend had NO mattress in their room. - Another frtiend had bed that was slept in and was not changed. - Questionable clientele.
Location down town is about all.
General appearance is shabby and run down, our first room smelled of smoke and had a spent cigarette butt in the toilet. The second had and interesting "wavy" floor. Party noise kept us up till 3:30 am.
The price, and a great location.
My room had no AC. Dripping tap.
staff, price, hot water, coffee
run down and dark
Very friendly and helpful staff Walking distance to ferry and several restaurants and downtown shops
