Hotel is old and worn
Bed was nice.
Construction in the parking garage. Noise coming from people on the street all night. No breakfast with the room. Too expensive considering all the inconveniences.
The hotel was very clean. The staff professional and extremely helpful. Wonderful beds - good wifi connection.
Hard to find even using a gps. Need more signs and better instructions on website to input into mapquest.
Clean, modern ,affordable, terrific sleep and breakfast was awsome, and indoor parking, easy walk to down town for the festival, loved it all......
didnt think I should have to pay to park
Loved the: Pool, Hot tub Dinning Room Parking was also good!
Hamilton as a city needs a bit of an upgrade! Did not like the people hanging around the streets! But because of the current economy families are having hard times, we understand that!
Wifi was strong. Some hotels make you sign-in everytime you havrnt been active for an hour.
Nite staff were unable to contain a noisy party on 2nd floor which kept us awake between 2 and 3 am.
breakfast is excellent!
Low keyed...Rather like a European Hotel for mid priced travelers...Massage, acupuncture, health clinic on location..pool...
NOT ONE bottle of complimentary water or non complimentary in room...Very inconvenient for late arriving tired travelers to dress and go down to a machine in the lobby..
Restaurant served great food. Good chef. Hotel was clean and staff was polite.
Air conditioning didn't work the first night, major construction on the 2nd night and on day 3 there was no hot water. Disappointed.
Friendly and helpful staff. Manager was exceptionally accommodating.
The room was nice
There was construction ongoing so it was too noisy to stay in the room during the day. It finished by 8 pm though.
Your member of staff. It was a very helpful pleasant gentleman with glasses causian who worked on 21/22nd July. He could not do enough to make my stay pleasant. He got my tv fixed for me as it wasnt working when we arrived. He helped me print out my plan ticket as the printer wasnt working in the business room and helped me off the floor when i fell over in the hotel. I was abit late checking out of the room and when i spoke to him ta explain i was running 15 mins late he was very understanding and obliging. I was also charged for a call that i shouldnt have been charged for and he sorted that mistake out too. That gentleman is a credit to your company thank you for such a pleasant stay.
staff were very friendly. excellent location in Central city & availability of parking.
No drinking water in rooms? low value for money.
Staff were great! Rooms clean!
The business we were completing was just a few minutes walk, so it was very convenient to stay at the Crowne. Parking is easily accessible. Staff were welcoming and friendly for our first visit. Pool facilities were inviting with the access to a well supplied fitness room.
Most staff were attentive and gave good service. The pool and sauna was good.
The breakfast menu was limited in its selection. Also the bathroom in my room was not up to standard. To be fair they offered to change my room but it would mean I wasn't on the same floor as my travelling companions. so I declined.
The location is great if you want to be downtown and walking distance to restaurants, shops, and Go Transit. The staff were all lovely and pleasant. The room was quite comfortable and a good size. The pool, hot tub and fitness center were all bigger than expected and the hot tub was actually hot (unlike many places I've stayed. Overall the convenient location and good facilities were probably enough to bring me back, but the price would have to be a bit lower.
This struck me as an okay hotel trying hard to be better. The area is a bit run-down, though I didn't feel unsafe at night. The need to use my room key to operate the elevator (and apparently enter after hours) was unusual and made me uncomfortable although I'm sure it was for security. I had a quiet room, but the walls were very thin and I could hear the neighbours in the room next door. There was no way to close the drapes, so not the best place to sleep in. (A clip was provided but not strong enough to keep them together.)
Parking garage was not the easiest setup to park and navigate
Made a request at the front desk and when we came back it was taken care of.
This is the first Hotel that I have stayed at where you had to pay for a parking spot on top of the room rate. Normally this cost is included with the room. As most people travel by car.
I didn't like that it was advertised with a restaurant yet it was closed and we weren't told. Also didn't like being in all night because they booked three jockey teams at the same time and didn't get them to shut up all night. Pool hasn't been cleaned in forever and my husband and I were looking forward to relaxing in the sauna and could because it was broken. No fridge on your room unless to pay for it is bull.
The lady at the front desk, think her name was Dawn, was extremely helpful.
The close proximity to where I needed to be and the staff were very accommodating.
The hotel is undergoing renovations which is fine but I feel it would be good if some sort of temporary bar/pub could be available
The stuff was great! Very welcoming and accommodating. Great location. Easy parking.
Too much noise coming though the windows during the night. The heating fan was too loud as well; ended up shutting off the heat for night to be able to sleep.
