Score from 120 reviews Excellent
The staff members (all) express a genuine desire to provide exceptional customer service to their guests. The rooms are spacious, clean and soothing.
You could hear the door open and close early in the morning as our room was located close to the front entrance of the hotel.
We arrived at 16:30 from Niagara Falls and were immediately participating in a complimentary wine (local of course) and cheese snack in the very comfortable lounge/lobby area. The wine was marvelous. Then walking distance to a fine local restaurant. Very nice stay
Everything except two things that I did not like.
* The wi-fi was very unreliable. * I woke up with a back-ache. I suspect that the mattress was not firm enough.
Very accommodating staff at the hotel. Boutique hotel was beautifully furnished, suite was quite comfortable with all the amenities. Breakfast was fantastic, overall a great place to spend a few days in comfort.
The breakfast was terrific. The staff was very helpful and congenial.
We observed Harbour House staff responding in a very patient and professional manner to some very demanding (and rude) guests. Not sure I could have stayed as "in control" as they (staff) did.
The wine Brighter reading lights would.be a Plus
The room was so tranquil and beautifully decorated. Love it, hated to leave it.
Excellent venue, very well maintained, very pleasant staff.
There was nothing to complain about.
The place was beautiful. Staff was friendly, energetic, knowledgable and very helpful. Rooms were spotless and comfortable. Loved the included breakfast. Hopefully we will be able to return every summer.
Everything was just execellent!
Leaving the hotel! Wanted to stay longer.
Location and service
great linens and fireplace was nice. Good breakfast
could have used more towels in the room
The whirlpool bath and fireplace were wonderful. The personalized stationary and treats in the room were a nice touch. Wine and cheese in the afternoon, and a lovely breakfast were highlights as well.
From the staff and the quiet, impeccably clean room to the delicious breakfast, the Harbour House is the perfect spot in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The staff treats guests like family, and is not only welcoming, but ready to do anything to make your stay perfect....and it was! How fortunate we were to spend our 45th wedding anniversary there! Thank you.
breakfast was disappointing
Location, food and hospitality if staff.
the room was very clean and what I expected when i booked it. The staff were very pleasant and accomodating.
for the price, the bed was not as comfortable as other hotels I've stay at. We love the beds that Marriot carry. The breakfast hours were limited. we missed the window of opportunity by 1/2 hour.
Lovely stylish hotel. Room was excellent with lots of elegant touches. Breakfast was nicely done.
Nothing to comment on.
Attention to detail
It was off the beaten path but still close to venues where you could walk too.
The price was a little high but we stayed on a Saturday night.
Staff very helpful and attentive Breakfast buffet included Free Wi Fi Lots of personal attention Cookies in room on check out Robes
Bathroom amenities included-shampoo/conditioner, lotion and shower gel: would have liked shower cap Lighting in room terrible Inn seemed tired--felt that for approx $400+(for friday night) it should have been nicer. Only 2 towels provided...when asked for more I got them but who wants to ask.
staff decor and art work breakfast shuttle service our room in a quiet corner or the village small hotel
the ice machine was low the first day and was empty the next morning. very small issue
The staff at Harbour House were extremely helful and kind. Me and my boyfriend had a wonderful time in our stay. I'm definitely recommending this Inn to all my friends!
The only negative part of our trip was the cab. We took the go train and bus to St. Catherine and is a flat rate of $35 to Niagara on the Lake (city cab) On the way back was another company, the cab driver was 30 minutes late, which made us missed the bus, so we had to wait one more hour for the next one, plus wanted to charged us $42 for the same trip. After complaining he changed for $35. The town is very cute, but by 10pm everything is closed, including restaurants. The tour around the vineyards is beautiful and really fun with bikes, they have the best gelato that I ever had 'Carlota'. We had a great time celebrating our 2 years anniversary!
Second vacation here. Would not stay anywhere else. You will be treated as if you are their only guests. Nothing is too much trouble. If you could find fault with Harbor House, you are the problem.
