Welcome very friendly , classical music in room . Wine and cheese social in lobby . Room clean and bed comfortable. Loved the fireplace! Appreciated the water cooler with cold water that we filled up in our jug many times. Desk clerk escorted us right up to our room and helped with luggage !
No exhaust fan in bathroom. Missed having a small frig in the room .
very comfortable and peaceful rooms, tastefully decorated. Delicious breakfast available daily and wine tasting was great. Staff were very helpful and friendly
We liked everything!
The Harbour House is very special to us. We spent our honeymoon there and recently our anniversary. It is the perfect destination in a fascinating location loaded with history and shops!
We enjoyed everything about the resort. We were able to walk to all the shops, restaurants and wineries. The room was large and very clean. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We would highly recommend this B & B.
At Harbour House Hotel we enjoyed being pampered by an attentive staff. When I asked for a cup of hot water, I was brought a whole pot of water delivered to my room on a beautifully draped tray. This kind of thoughtfulness is evident in every aspect of this beautiful Hotel. Blazing fire in the fireplace at the wine tasting, delicious breakfast items, cozy beds, convenient location to town and views of the river just a few steps down the street all made for a wonderful get-away for my husbands birthday. When the staff found out we were celebrating his birthday, we found a nice note and birthday cake in a jar in our room upon returning from dinner. We have never stayed in a more peaceful hotel! Hope to visit again!
Perfectly located as short and enjoyable stroll into town. Lovely rooms
Breakfast could have been a little more substantial but only a minor niggle as plenty of options in town for heartier fare.
The suite was luxurious. This a great place for a honeymoon ( or two ).
Outstanding service, friendliness, and thought by hotel management. Everything was prepared in advanced and they even took care of our restaurant bookings and shuttle.
Friendly atmosphere -excellent breakfast. Spacious bedroom.
Cannot think of a thing. Plan to return next year.
Staff was excellemt
Lovely room Charming & helpful staff - shuttle service a wonderful extra especially in wine country. Quiet yet close to everything
Could use better lighting, especially for reading, in rooms
At checkin when we asked about local sites and restaurants and mentioned we would go to a coffee shop, staff offered to make us a fresh pot.
The staff was great and very helpfull
The staff members (all) express a genuine desire to provide exceptional customer service to their guests. The rooms are spacious, clean and soothing.
You could hear the door open and close early in the morning as our room was located close to the front entrance of the hotel.
The location is walking distance to the Shaw Festival theatres, shops, and restaurants, but is very quiet. Breakfast was excellent. We had a standard king room that was very comfortable.
Minor complaints - bathroom needs a better close-up mirror and more light. Hallways on the way to our room were very cold. We were there 2 nights, and were surprised that housekeeping did not make up the bed or replace the towels for our second night.
We arrived at 16:30 from Niagara Falls and were immediately participating in a complimentary wine (local of course) and cheese snack in the very comfortable lounge/lobby area. The wine was marvelous. Then walking distance to a fine local restaurant. Very nice stay
Everything except two things that I did not like.
* The wi-fi was very unreliable. * I woke up with a back-ache. I suspect that the mattress was not firm enough.
Very accommodating staff at the hotel. Boutique hotel was beautifully furnished, suite was quite comfortable with all the amenities. Breakfast was fantastic, overall a great place to spend a few days in comfort.
The breakfast was terrific. The staff was very helpful and congenial.
We observed Harbour House staff responding in a very patient and professional manner to some very demanding (and rude) guests. Not sure I could have stayed as "in control" as they (staff) did.
The wine Brighter reading lights would.be a Plus
The room was so tranquil and beautifully decorated. Love it, hated to leave it.
Excellent venue, very well maintained, very pleasant staff.
There was nothing to complain about.
