location was perfect, very central. Outside was very cute, and tidy, with flowers planted in boxes all around. Room had small balcony, from which we could see the lake and mountains. Room could use some TLC, but was clean, and quiet. Good price point.
Location very good. Room comfortable. Good value considering location.
Had difficulty getting TV to work and manager/owner not available after I had checked in.
The furnishings are older and the carpet is worn but the beds are clean and the shower was excellent and that's all I expect in this price range. Run by a friendly family, two minutes walking to the public hot springs.
Great location across the street from the lake. Decent size room.
The bed was very uncomfortable.
I didn't like one thing about this hotel. It was dirty and disgusting.
The black hair in our bed, the spiders everywhere. The burn iron mark in the carpet. The broken shower (not that we used the shower) it was a disgusting motel.
confined space in corridors felt like a fire trap has not been upgraded in decades
We visited with our four-year-old grandson over the Labour Day long weekend. The motel is right on the beach, convenient to play areas and restaurants.
Dirty, falling apart, no updates
Location of Motel Friendly hepful staff at office
No change of bedding or cleaning of rooms for the 2 night stay. No new towels either. Was advised when requesting why bed was not made and room cleaned after first night stay I was told that his is only by special request. and the price as cheap. The room was very small and one could at least expect to have the bed made up and cleaned.
The location was great, right across from the lagoon and in the center of town.
The rust/chipped pieces in the sink & tub & no where to hang anything in the bathroom. The lino was chipped & dirty; the carpet was not clean; the garbage containers had plastic bags but were not clean at all. The air conditioner did not work in the one bedroom. The breaker kept tripping until we figured out what we could not use at the same time (the stove & microwave)
I liked the voice of lady on the phone, She was very accommodating as I had to change our stay several times. We ended up with bigger room and balcony with view of lake. Please put city only.
We asked for early check in which they gave us, we hurried the cleaning staff.
I liked that I could bring my dog
So close to everything. You get a nice view of the boardwalk from your patio. Cheap! Friendly cleaning service. Owners are friendly and quiet.
Needs renos big time. If stains, scary bathrooms and patio doors that are barely able to open scare you be warned. Zero wifi in rooms. But it's cheap so not a surprise.
Convenient. Check-in was simple. No problems encountered that were not surmountable.
Maintenance of facilities was a problem. Busted lightbulbs, one in a lamp that a toddler could have put a finger in. Dangerous!
Gross and filthy rooms and beds. Dirty cloth left on in room from last guest. Carpets were heavily stained. Bathtub was dirty. Nasty.
The place was absolutely filthy , the carpet has so many horrible stains on it , we never dared take our shoes of , Bathroom was old, shower didn't work properly , everything was old and dirty and broken , however the worst came when we were about to go into bed and realized the bed was dirty, sheets had stains on them and hairs, they came to change sheets and apologized ,we were told their would be a refund of some sorts, which we still haven't gotten, Don't go there....
Great morning views, pleasant, helpful staff and great place to start your Sasquatch search
it was central. Manager was quick to refund me and understood my complaint
Patio door didn't slide properly. Bed was very uncomfortable. Room was out dated. Got a better deal in Chilliwack for the same price
Location. Across from the beach. The little cafe on the corner was good. The beds were adequate and seemed clean.
We stayed in unit 5. It was dirty. Paint chipping everywhere. Poorly equipped. Floors was slanted every which way. Tub gross. Looked like it was ready to tear down.
the service especially the receptionist..(teresa).. For all the questions that i bugged her and for easy solutions.... We will try to go nack and have the same room i hope or closer to the entrance maybe....with all the bad reviews ive read i think they havent been to places like we've been and to see how comfortable and to have what you need just an open drawer away and cupboards then maybe for them they shld go to a higj end hotels and not MOTEL.... For a motel i think this is the best spot and the best place to be closest to the beach as in few steps and friendly staffs too....c yah next summer
just the coffee maker.... Hope all rooms have new coffee maker like other rooms... But aside frm that i guess everything is fine...
Access to beach across the street, walk to everything. Friendly management.
Rooms in need of everything! Linens not changed during stay nor beds made. Mild tidy up and towel change only. If it's broken...it will stay broken .
They let my two small dogs stayed with us with no extra charged.
Price is too high for the quality of it. We have to ask for the bed sheet to be changed the next day as we cannot find anyone to help us during the night. You can hear people on the second floor walking an running around in d middle of the night. I would not go back to stay there again and would not recommend the place to anyone i know.
Musty smelling room. Sliding door lock broken. Ceiling Fan shorting out.
