Helm's Inn    

it ticked all our boxes,this is the second year running we have stayed,the fact it is located 2 minutes walk from the bus depot meant everything to us.faultless in my opinion,we are just home and we will be back again next year.thanks all at Helms Inn.

Great location very close to downtown Victoria, with room very spacious and incorporated a well appointed kitchen. Excellent value for money.

Excellent facilities in an excellent location, just minutes' walk from Victoria Inner Harbour.

Little drawer space but otherwise nothing.

Bed not updated, very hard actually, so were pillows. Bedding old and outdated. Bathroom very small, no room for anything on counter. Shower head defective with minimal spray and hard to controll temp. Noisy on street side.

The simple European style....walking distance to everything yet meeting all our needs...cleanliness....great bed....flat screen tv....friendly efficient staff....large comfortable space...nice kitchenette... Loved the courtyard with the gorgeous french lilac.....The free parking was a bonus....Plan to return for longer.

Very few....we didnt know there was no elevator but we were only on the 2nd floor....maybe the staff could offer to help you with your luggage when they see your age.

the location is good and it is easy to find. There is a kitchen inside the room which can save us money for meals. The price for the room is reasonable.

The location is perfect. It's close to the Inner Harbour, BC Parliament Building and the famous Fairmount Empress. Walking less than five minutes, you will be at the coast. The Douglas Street, which is the street that Helm's Inn is on, has tons of restaurants, convenient stores and shops. You can easily walk a restaurant and grab something to eat. It also has bus stops nearby. Basically this hotel is very comfortable and close to everything. They also provide free coffee and tea all day, with muffins and scones in the morning. Our room has a small kitchen, including a fridge, so we did some cooking and bought some food stored there for morning. Very nice place!

The fridge in my room is kind of noisy.

The location is top notch. Easy access by walking to a lot of inner harbor and area attractions and food services. Room design was spacious. Kitchen area updated and appreciated. King suite is very comfortable and easy to relax in. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Lobby area very warm and inviting, especially with the fireplace going and you walk in on a cooler, rainy day.

It's a busy street and the traffic can be a bit noisy, but you get used to that fairly quickly.

Location was great and the room (King Suite) was spacious with a powerful shower and a good hob, fridge etc.

Missing some of the basics for a good kitchen - chopping board, sharp knives etc. Little things that would have made a big difference.

Everything. Great location, great price, clean updated room. Wonderful staff they went out of their way to make sure we could check in early, since we had been traveling with small children. Only wished we could have stayed longer.

Very Cosy, with loads of Christmas spirit. Free tea lounge in lovely relaxed atmosphere. Wifi excellent. Centrally located to restaurants, town and 2 mins walk from bus station. Very friendly people.
