It was clean & quiet .

Location. Surprisingly quiet at night even though right downtown Victoria.

The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Noise from the street was a little more than I would have liked but there is no way around that because of the location of the building it's self. So that's life.

Convienience to locality compact room good amenities well appointed kitchen area. Comfortable bed luxurious decor and bedding.

Loved the large suite with all the amenities!

Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff. Room was quite spacious and very clean.

Rooms where comfortable and a a switch from normal hotel rooms.

it is well located and good value for money. Reasonably priced, updated recently, kitchenette was very adequate, close to Beacon Hill Park, inner harbor, Empress, museum,

able to hear tv in next room, missing towel bar.

Location was great and the rooms were nicely appointed....very comfortable.

Very close to bus station (we were travelling by bus) museum and government buildings. Short walk from waterfront. Coffee and tea available in lobby and free usage of computer.

That I was able to have a kitchenette and cook my own meals and save $$ on food. The close proximity to downtown. Being able to walk in nature just across the street.

Not able to open a window for fresh air.

Helm's Inn has become a regular stop for us when we race sailboats in the Swiftsure Lightship Classic! It's a great value, and close to the Inner Harbor without being too costly.

While I am sure the problem was taken care of soon after we left, the shower control cover was very loose and possibly leaking water into the wall....

Great location, outstanding value, rooom was in perfect condition (clean/new furnishings), kitchenette was great, small patio area outside was nice. We'll definately stay here again.

Building exterior is a little dated.

I liked how comfortable I feel at the Helm's Inn, not too formal but not too folksy - just right. I like how central the hotel is to the tourist features, to Beacon Hill Park for exercise, to the ocean for the Pacific Ocean experience, to all the waterfront walks and to the downtown shopping. You can tell, I have stayed more than once.

Hotel with character, strategic location near Beacon Park, friendly staff, modernized vintage suite..

We liked the size of the room and the inclusion's such as the kitchen and the dining area. It was close to everything and warm and inviting. Will definitely reccomend to others.

There was nothing to dislike

it ticked all our boxes,this is the second year running we have stayed,the fact it is located 2 minutes walk from the bus depot meant everything to us.faultless in my opinion,we are just home and we will be back again next year.thanks all at Helms Inn.

lovely spot incredible value for money directly across from Beacon Hill Park full of Birds, Bald Eagles and far end of park borders ocean, easy walking and incredible flowers, right next to Museum with Totem poles easy walking everywhere staff were great
