Space Kitty Wabesabe, eclectic architecture and furnishings

Although we made arrangements ahead of time for a full breakfast none was served and the guest house operator was no where to be seen.....

The best sleep I've ever had in a super comfortable bed with the sound of waves lapping on the shore. Fascinating guests to share meals & conversation with and, oh yes...the billions of stars at night.

everything was great. 2 weeks away and by far best part was our stay at Heron Guesthouse on Quadra Island. Room was cute, kitchen simple but all you need. Linda was most helpful and went extra mile, quite literally since we had run out of propane for bbq and she went immediately to refill. Thanks again Linda. My favourite part was waking up to the ocean view at the foot of our bed and to top it all was the delightful bubble bath outside in the cast iron tub looking at the ocean. Next time we come Linda I will be making you a lovely dinner and having you come tell us some travel tales.

It's not the Hilton but hey I've never stayed there anyway. Couple spiders but whew! no snakes so it coulda been worse. The group upstairs (don't see em but you do hear em) were by no means loud when we stayed but if there was a livelier crowd it would have been a shame. I think Linda would be on top of any issues though. If that concerns you she has enough other room options to suit your situation. Just book early cuz she is a busy bee!

Amazing ocean views! This place was exactly what we were looking for. Very romantic, unique and cozy! Perfect spot to drop your kayaks in or explore the beach. Great location. Will definitely stay here again!

Stayed in suite beneath main house. Location was great and views were truly stunning. Very relaxed atmosphere and host Linda was very welcoming. Quirky style, with personal touches to decor...all very nice.

A few mosquitos to deal with (mid September), but otherwise no issues.
