Free bus pass to town, Bar, social activities

Staff's knowledge. One staff member we asked on Sunday 14th April about how to get to Lake Louise Ski Area informed us that the only way to get to there would be to take the Greyhound bus to the Lake and you would have to walk from there or catch a taxi! 2 minutes of research proved him completely incorrect.

Very nice accomodation, superfriendly employees and great location. Not too central, but we were happy about that. We booked a private twin room, but at our welcome we were for free upgraded into a blockhouse, which was amazing.

We chose for price point, which was very good compared to rest of Banff. Pancakes for breakfast were really good!

Last time we stayed at a hostel we had a real bed, this time it was a bunk, not very comfy. Also be aware, you have to ask for a towel.

I found the accomadations fair and comfortable.

However supplied food was poor.

I met a lot of friendly trippers there, was awesome! The hostel give you free bus tickets, liquor store and market are just 1 min walk from the hostel, they organize a new event every day in the bar... If you like to meet people, you'll enjoy this place

We drove up from Calgary as we had an early morning trip out of Banff, but probably would have been better off getting a good night's sleep at home and driving up at an earlier hour instead of spending the night in Banff or else should have paid more money for a better accommodation. We are really too old (in our 60's) to be staying in this type of an establishment, so I would say it was an experience we would not replicate. A good night's sleep we did NOT have as guests are so self centered when it comes to noise- more noise the better and late in the night. The rooms were tiny and hot. We hoped for better because the hostel at Lake Louise is modern, bright, and quiet.

Inexpensive, clean rooms, friendly staff--an excellent value.

Just a bit far from the center of town---a very minor consideration.

It's one of the cheapest places in Banff. The hostel is well laid out and very comfortable.

Some people complained that it's far from the town, but I didn't think so. It's about 20 minutes walk, or 2-3 minutes on a bus, which was fine for me.

The fridge was big and they give you a nice box to put your food into it.

There was people under my room the first night who were really loud at 3:15 am. I couldn't go back to bed until noise was down which was 4am. The second night, I could hear the guy besides my room talking with his wife and after the conversation, the snoring keep me awake for a while....The rooms are not isolated enough.

Lidt ældre, men fine faciliteter. Ok menu i cafeen og kæmpe pandekager til morgenmad. Super balkon at nyde den sidste aftensso.

Es ist ein Hotel für Junge Leute, in unserem Alter möchte man nicht das Bad teilen. Auch die Zimmer sind sehr einfach. die Fenster waren so weit oben,so dass man nicht hinaus konnte. Wir buchten 3 Nächte, reisten aber nach einer wieder ab. Wir fanden in Banff ein schönes Hotel es kostete 25$ mehr pro Person.

Verouderd gebouw internet werkt niet op de kamers, wel in de lounge kleine kamers wc en douche op gang (4 per verdiep) beperkt ontbijt (koffie en drie pannekoeken, rest te betalen) slechte geluidsisolatie : nachtlawaai niet aan te raden voor senioren en families met kinderen (oordoppen meedoen)
