HI Whistler

clean and modern room, nice view out of the window.

Location far away from centre of Whistler. We got only one towel a person, and no wascloth

It was very quiet. No noise from the other rooms nor noise from building mechanical systems (AC, heating). Internet was included.

A few more pictures (shots from around Whsitler?) in the room to make it cozy. Nothing else around the building to do.

Bought discounted lift tickets from the front desk.

Stayed there for two days. Wasnot even offered to clean or tidy up the room not to mention changing bedding and towels

I really liked the equipment storage, it is pretty cool and makes you excited to hit the mountain

The fact that the kettion is 24/7, they close it at med-night I guess.

Private room was a good size, had a nice tv and clean washroom. Mountain view. Friendly people everywhere, made friends both times I entered the common area

the heat was hard to regulate(the window was open it was comfortable or cold and closed it was too hot. Being 30yrs old I found the bed to be something that would have been ok 10 years ago.

Clean, new, affordable.

1 particular staff member was very rude - the rest of the staff was cordial and willing to help.

Staff was great. Facilities were what was expected.

Internet was miserable. Kitchen and common areas were small for that many people staying. Question when people check in should be "do you snore". I didn't sleep a wink the entire week.

The place was clean & new. Good lighting with counter space in bathroom. The sheets were fresh. We could open the window in bedroom.

The odor in room where we slept. The odor of the bed cover.

It's affordable.

The rooms are way too small and the common areas are really sterile and noisy. The noise level is general was way too loud. I couldn't even talk on my phone comfortably.

We stayed in a private room and it was just as good, as if not better then many hotel rooms we have stayed in. Very clean and new, it was great.

Of course it would be nice to be closer to the village, but then it wouldn't be budget-friendly!

only $40 for one bed . good value for money. Clean, Quiet, Nice Staff

This is the second I have been at this hostel. Everything is so wonderful. Everyone is so friendly.

the lounge was great - and the communal kitchen, what a great place to hang out!

At HI you have Jo and another blOnde receptionist, maybe canadian. They have made my stay at HI. They've been awesome. Genuinely lovely people, without them I honestly dont think I would have had such an amazing time. The hostel is the best I've stayed in 12 months of travelling but the staff it even more so.

Nothing. I had to check for one night, because of being fully booked. But Jo made every effort to get me back in again a day later. No matter how busy she is, she'll chat to you, just for chat. She's awesome.

We were a group of 5, we had a whole dorm room to ourselves with the 5th person in an all girls dorm. It was great to be placed together; our room was very clean and it was awesome to have our own bathroom. Great hostel!

I've stayed in hostels before, but this one blew me out of the water. I've never seen one with such amazing amenities. The beds were SO comfy, the suites were set up with amazing shower/washroom facilities. The floors were always warm. The interior design was wonderful and inviting. The price was outstanding for the experience provided.

The only thing was that the front counter staff member was obviously under trained and there was a long line so she was under pressure. She did what she could but help was obviously needed.

The best hotel I have been to. The facilities in the hotel are very convenient with a large kitchen where I can make my own food.

Water for shower not hot enough, was only hot the first time I showered, second and third day was just warm water.

Awesome stay there, would definitely go back! Staff were friendly and helpful always, the kitchen and leisure rooms were massive and the beds were comfortable.

A little far from whistler village, I did end up spending a small fortune on buses. There was also no supermarkets or restaurants near by which made it feel a little cut off.

It was a generally nice looking hostel. Everything was clean and tidy. Atmosphere was fun and the pool tourny was fun

No free breakfast Going in to town costs $5 so unless you do one trip a day it can get expensive

Beds are so comfortable. Very nice.

A bit from the town but the bus is just outside the door and so convenient

it was cheap and clean. The kitchen was fantastic. Views out of all the windows were lovely. A great place overall. Well done!

The 8 person sharing of 1 toilet and 1 shower. 4 per toilet/shower is ok, but 8 is too much.
