Nice hotel. Clean and friendly
Waterslid and location
I'm 19 and when I came to check in I felt I was not treated like a guest more like a child. I did not feel welcome, also the bad was warped out of shape
Toilet ran , fan in bathroom didn't work. Bathroom door had broken part so the door crashed to the wall
clean, good location, restaurant lovely, service very good.
all was great!
The front desk was responsive to my complaint.
The hotel was full of families of young hockey players. These young players were playing mini hockey in the hall directly outside my room when I arrived. I immediately when to the front desk to complain. The front desk was very accomodating and gave me another room. Shortly after arriving in the other room, I left my room to go to my car. I encountered 4 kids running the hall loudly laughing. Behind them was a trail of cheesies. While I understand that the hotel does not encourage running in the hall it is your responsibility to ensure that the behaviour of your guests is not infringing on your other guests. When you have a hotel full of hockey teams (the front desk told me they were fully booked with hockey teams thus they were aware of the make-up of their guests) then you should have management staff or security walking the halls to check on their behaviour. Based on the amount you are charging per room, you can afford the additional security measures.
My 8 year old daughter loves the pool & slide.
the beds are very com fie
fire alarm going off at 11 pm
The location was good for us, close to what we had planned for that day. The WiFi was nice to have as well. The staff were nice and helpful when asked.
One reason for picking this hotel was for my children to enjoy the pool and slide. Slide was closed and the pool was very cool. The room had some garbage from the previous customers, had to flush toilet 3 - 4 times for it to work. Shower ceiling looked like it had a leak and a bad repair job. Room was over priced.
The lobby was very clean and open, there was a pool with a slide which would have been fun to try but we weren't able to fibd the time. We were going to a Halloween Party at the Paradise Banquet on Jane St and we were able to walk there and back. There is free parking and wifi. We also tried the buffet breakfast which was fairly good! For $13 a person it was an all you can eat with eggs any way, waffles, cereal, juices, fruit, yogurt and breads. I would stay again if I needed a hotel in that area.
It wasn't to do with the hotel particularly but we had ordered some eggs and put the number on a table by the window and got up to grab a few more things from the buffet. A man moved our number and we had to move to another less desirable table. This was a guest at the hotel and not a hotel staff member. The waitress was very kind about it and felt bad she wanted to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed but they never made the couple that stile our table move either.
My son hit his head on the water slide and the life guard on duty was amazing! I wish I had asked his name... He worked the morning of October 12.
The kids loved the pool with the slide.
Liked the pool close to a lot friendly staff
Tv didn't work called for some help says they'd come up but no one came? Expensive fir stay with kids. Bathroom seemed dirty and mold on washroom ceiling.
Very clean staff friendly
Bed was great and hot tub was quite enjoyable.
The staff looked at me and my wife as if we walked into the wrong place, and were not treated well, and I felt like I was being ripped off with the pricing of rooms.
The location was fantastic for the activities we did!
The bed was very uncomfortable, the room fan was loud and the tub was very slippery.
It was very clean and close to wonderland staff was great with the teenage girls and they thought they were treated lricesses i enjoyed the relaxation and felt safe
Hot tub was closed
Everything was really good I just did not like the fact that they told us we can use our credit card to hold the room and pay when we get there. But when we got there they still wanted to charge my credit card and if I wanted to pay cash I had to leave $150 dollar security deposit on top of what the room was worth. Also they only had 1 elevator working which was pretty annoying during check out because they were always so full & the ice machine wasn't working on our floor so we had to go to the 3rd or 5th floor for ice with only 1 working elevator.
Room was clean and the food was good
I was on the 4th floor, there was soo much noise, I couldn't sleep! I did not enjoy my stay
I liked it prozimity to shops and restaurants. The rooms were spacious and clean. And the hotel staff were friendly.
Cigarette smoke could be smelled in some of the hallways and the elevator. Also, the waterslide is closed on weekdays in the winter.
