GREAT LOCATION , HIGH QUALITY FACILITY WITH A FANTASTIC BREAKFAST.
Hard to find, no valet parking, dark underground lot next door, not enough staff in the restaurant .
salt water pool breakfast included althoughextra cost
not much of a view from our room
Location was excellent, the view from our room was phenomenal, breakfast was wonderful, and all of the staff were excellent, knowledgeable, and very helpful.
Stayed six nights at the hotel while visiting relatives in the area. Found the hotel clean, comfortable and in a great location downtown. Staff were friendly and helpful.
City view rooms are actually courtyard view and very dark. Not at all pleasant
Close to downtown and wharf
Horrible customer service, poor parking for $20 per day. Cleaning staff "misplaced" the tv remote because of previous complaints and had to redo cleaning of room at 6pm
The best location in the city and possibly the best hotel you can find.
An excellent choice. The room/bed was excellent. The breakfast was outstanding value when added onto your room fees.
There was nothing we disliked.
Great location, lots to do and see
trying to get additional towels or blankets proves to be a challenge
Very new facilities ; nicely renovated rooms. Easy access to rooms; free psrking
Good hotel !
Staff was great at hotel and restaurant. Location is great for touring around SJ Late checkout is sweet.
Honestly, $209 dollars plus taxes and fees (breakfast included) net $260 for a basic king-room with no fridge and just a couch is a total rip off. I have stayed at the Novotel on the Esplanade in downtown Toronto for $170 in a room just as nice, mini fridge and gourmet buffet breakfast included. Downtown Toronto!!! The Hilton is NOT good value. Shop around folks!
Very clean. Staff very helpful.
Under construction. Extremely hard to get access from streets. Parking not included, extra fee and under ground across the street...
the lobby - great style and great view clean, spacious rooms
rooms need more decor - they seemed a bit 'cold' - paying for local phone calls - these should be included for a hotel of this class
Staff friendly and helpful. Close to Harbor Station as we were attending the Toby Keith Concert.
The lighting in our room poor. No continental breakfast .
Clean comfortable' good breakfast buffet but if it wasn't included in our room fee, very expensive. Love getting the carafe of coffee at the table. Liked the bathroom vanity and products. Love the lighted make up mirror. Hair dryer is better than some but still not very powerful -just ok for my hair but for thick or long hair not great. Overall a very pleasant stay.
While the renovated dining area is much improved from its prrvious style, I miss the previous elegant room on the lower level. Some of the modern changes detract from its previous elegance. I did not appreciate housekeeping banging on my door before 9 am when they knew we were checking put that day but had not yet done so.
The staff were helpful and offered anything to make up for short comings. Bed very comfortable. No fridge in room, but offered to mix our drinks if we wanted. Very kind and almost seemed to want to make up for hotel short comings.
Considered to be a higher end hotel, but rooms felt used, dirty and lacked basic comforts that are standard in any mid level hotel. We had a harbour view kings suite that was more a shoe box. No wine glasses No fridge in room Tiny bathroom Coffee maker is very outdated and not worth using. No parking other than the 18.00 a night fee across the road. The restaurant on site prices depict a fine establishment but the food was little to be excited about. Would not eat there again and tried several items from high end to basic nachos. Not pleased. Drinks were good and waitress attempted to make right by bringing several different items, none of which were any better and even commented on the chef herself.
Beautiful location right on the harbour. In the heart of town/shopping and historic elements of Saint John.
Expensive parking fee ($20/day) . TV not working first two nights.
the service in the dinning room was extremely slow. We dined there on Saturday, March 1 and waited approx 30 mins for our food when there was only three other tables and then the waitress was not around to give us the bill when we completed the meal. I called the fron desk at 7am on Sunday, March 2, and requested a late check out and was told that i would be charged $75, I have never been charged a fee for a late check out in my life. I will not stay at a Hilton again.
I liked the friendly and helpful staff, from the desk clerk who upgraded me to a view window when she discovered it was my birthday to the bellboy who held the car door open for me during strong winds!
There was actually nothing about my stay that I did not like!
This is the place to stay if you go to St. John. Close to all the main attractions beautiful hotel on the wharf in St. John harbour,be sure to book a harbour view room i
the price was way too high for what you got, the amenities in the room were poor. No fridge? what year is this 1701?
I love the size of our room and the place was beautifully decorate and clean.
parking should be free or a discount for hotel guest for the price. Also your tv selection was not very good. Elevators very slow that we took the stairs.
