Hockley Valley Resort  

Our family had a restfull night there we only wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy more of the amenities.Next time.

The service was outstanding; all staff were more than ready to help with anything to make the stay wonderful. We are thinking of returning for a longer stay than just the one night we had this time.

Very comfortable beds and very clean throughout the room.....made you feel like you could touch things.

cost prohibits a long stay. I booked 5 rooms for a wedding in October and paid the same price as anyone would booking 1 room on line for the same night......would have been nice to get a bit of a break.

The room was beautiful and the beds very comfortable. The food was excellent, although very expensive. Gorgeous setting at the base of ski hills, and very close to the Orangeville Agricultural Centre.

Offer more less expensive choices on restaurant menus for those who do not want to spend $30 for breakfast, or pay $12 for a 5 oz glass of wine. We will eat outside of the hotel next vist.

Directions to hotel need to be clear.

Slept like a baby bed comfortable

Dirty wash cloth in room I would have liked coffee by the main desk in the morning. I booked on line for a price and when I paid it was almost a hundred dollars more? When I asked why I got a shrug same with why were there dirty washcloths left in the room? Daughter and her family live in Orangeville I will have to rethink our next visit

Everything was perfect, my husband and I were celebrating my birthday and it was beautiful, our meal in the Cabin Restaurant was wonderful. We certainly will return to Hockley.

The grounds, the size of the room.

Our room had the worst shower I had ever taken in a hotel. You could not run the shower head and the 2 front nozzles together due to the low water pressure. The toilet in our downstairs bathroom was loose and wobbled when you sat on it. The picture quality of the 2 TV's looked like it was from an antenna in the country. The ice machine on our floor did not work and looked as if it hadn't worked in sometime. The only breakfast offered is a very expensive buffet which was way over priced!! Checkout is by 11:00 am but they only schedule there spas to start at 10:00 am on Mondays so that feature was out of the question. The hotel manager said she could not do anything to compensate us for all the problems we encountered in less than 16 hours even though we spent over $300 on our room for one night.

We visited for a family wedding. The ceremony and reception were both held at this location. Wonderful for a destination wedding. We didn't use the facility as we were only there for one night, but it did look beautiful.

We found the food and drinks at this hotel to be very expensive. A shot of rye whiskey at the one bar was $8.00 and a coffee was $3.00. We did not get breakfast coupons (as my sister did, but she booked directly with the hotel) and the charge for buffet breakfast was $29.95 per person. Our room was lovely, although the hallways are looking like they could use a little sprucing up.

Friendly and helpful staff whether in pro shop or having lunch and especially dinner excellent cuisine and fun servers we will return and bring family to golf and stay very impressed overall only an hour from home and yet felt we were in a resort with the highest concern for their clients satisfaction special thanks to wendy and ryan

Nothing to add here vineyards gardens good food and wine is hard to complain about golf course very challenging but beautiful and we have golfed lots of great courses inthe u s and scotland

Very welcoming, friendly staff. Enjoyed a great lunch at the bar when we arrived served by the wonderful Victoria. Room was perfect, overlooking the golf course, which we played and enjoyed immensely. Every member of staff wore a smile and made it very obvious it was their pleasure to serve us. Great time

This was a beautiful setting right at the ski resort valley.The two pools were great and the hotel was very spa like.

There was no light in the ceiling in the bathroom, very dark.

It is a beautiful landscape... Gorgeous, I was so sad I didn't bring my running shoes with me to take a nice walk. It was an awesome surprise to find such a beautiful place.

Definitively the rooms need a big overhaul. The mattresses are old and not comfortable to sleep. There are beautiful pieces in wood that need a little of care. I heard that some parts of the hotel are already repaired. You can understand the low price rate.

Went there for the golf but was disappointed as the course was very long and dry.

The setting was beautiful and the room was very well appointed

The hot tub needs improvement - give consideration to put one outside

I liked the peaceful and pretty location. The ambiance of the lounges and dining area. The immaculate and large room with a balcony was a nice surprise. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. I was especially happy with the eco-friendly nature of the resort by recycling and using organic toiletries. They also grow their own herbs and have many gardens for their cooking needs by the look of it although at this time of year the gardens had been put to bed. Fruit trees are planted. Food was delicious with healthy choices.

I thought the prices for food and beverages were too high.
