They were unloading stuiff from the rooof when I arrived, I couldn't park at the main door, an indication of what priority is affoprded guests. Noisy construction vehicles beeping as they moved around first thing each morning outside my room, construction guys shouting orders ( I asked for "a quiet room" at checkin & was met with silence from the clerk). News kiosk often closed ("back at 8 am"; "back at 5 pm"), no possibility to get a newspaper Sunday morning, even though 2 copies on front desk. Guests should be advised in advance that hotel is under construction, is noisy, filled with workers, & parts are in disrepair. I am surprised that full price is charged to guests in the face of such obvious inconvenience.

Nothing, they tried to rip me off on the cost of the room for two of the nights (it was not the cost as quoted by bookings.com; they simply cancelled the buffer breakfast on our last day, they kept bugging me to pay off the charges whenever they got near $1200 which I have never heard of in 30 years of travel. And they totally embarrased my wife in the restaurant at breakfast two mornings in a row as they had screwed up our breakfast coupons. The hostess at the breakfast restaurant was a totally rude ignorant person who should be fired immediately, the elevators are obnoxiously slow. Other than those few things, I will never stay at this dump again. Post this one as one of your reviews...a totally disgusting stay that will not happen again. I rate this hotel right now as a 2 star, nothing more. Under renovations, used to be a Holiday Inn but during renovations it is now called another name. How stupid is that.

Parking was free. WiFi was free. The room was neat and clean. I went for the buffet breakfast on Christmas Day. It was mediocre at best. I wouldn't say it was elaborate. It was just average. I had the cold buffet with hot oatmeal if I wanted it. The oatmeal was like water and totally tasteless. The buffet was $9.99, but you had to pay an extra $2.25 just for coffee. Wouldn't you think the coffee would have been included? Total rip off in my opinion. One thing that really ticked me off is that they automatically added a $2.50 something gratuity charge because it was Christmas. What the heck? In my opinion gratuities are supposed to be for good service, not to pay their staff for coming in on Christmas. The staff at the buffet weren't exactly pleasant either. True. Some of the staff were cheery, but paid more attention to each other than us the customers and some acted like they just didn't want to be there. The tv also didn't work. Pay per view didn't work at all which would have been nice to watch a movie that evening when nothing is on and the free tv was incredibly grainy. After they sent up a tech, it was determined the entire hotel didn't have proper tv. Don't you think they would have checked that previously? When checking out the front desk clerk was soooooooo rude! He seemed ticked off that I interrupted his conversation with his coworker. When I told him about the tv situation he gave me this flippant remark like "we would have changed your room". When I told him it was out in the entire hotel, he didn't seem to know or care. He just said thanks ... ah you can go. What the heck?!!!!! Never, never again.

Under construction paint fumes . Pool and hot tub not available until construction ccmpleted. That us what we booked it for was to use the pool. But after we got there we find out its not open. Booking.com offered it at 50% off and you think u are getting a great deal but realistically it isn't worth anymore than 50$ a night in the current condition . Should really be shut down or super discounted during this time.

Clean hotel, easy to get to, friendly staff I would have liked to have know that the pool and exercise room were unavailable before I made my reservation rather than after the fact...
