Holiday Inn Express Airdrie  

Staff were extremely helpful with phone difficulties and with extending our stay unexpectedly.

We really do not understand why our phone did not work to call out or in, but did work within the facility. As we were trying to contact local family members, this was frustrating and inconvenient. Staff were very helpful and after more than an hour corrected the problem.

Close to major mall and Calgary Impressive breakfast buffet

Very comfortable beds! Excellent staff. We booked a standard room but was upgraded to a suite when we arrived. Very impressed!

Breakfast was too plastic, but ok - perhaps it is just the nth american way

carpet in room appeared dirty as their were spots on it. room 403 pancake machine was not working satisfactorily

I really enjoyed my stay. The prices are reasonable. The pool is great, the breakfast was good. The beds are comfy, the location is great. The staff was very good, friendly and helpful. I like the rooms have a kitchenette. I will be back!

Very nice, clean facilities. Loved the room, pool, hot tub and 'continental' breakfast. And the front desk clerk was very nice and upgraded us to a jacuzzi suite, which I had been trying to book the night before online but there were none available, and this made us very happy! Thank you very much for an enjoyable stay!

The only thing I didn't like about our stay was our room vicinity which was so close to the back door. You could hear it every time someone entered or exited.

Just wondering about hour pet policy. Grandchild has pet allergy and was covered with rash ( which is typical for him with contact with pet dander)Wondering if we stayed in a room that previously had a pet. Room # 220 night of March 31. 2012. I didn't noticed it signed up so assumed no pets. Otherwise perfect location yo shopping and airport next day.

When we came back to our room after being gone all day it was lovely to see that they had gone to the trouble of making our daughter's playpen up and folding her clothes. They even placed her teddy bear neatly on her pillow. What exceptional service!

Apparently there was a soccer tournement going on that weekend and parents were allowing their children to run up and down the halls yelling. The people staying above us sounded like they were letting the kids jump off the beds over and over. I didn't bother calling in a complaint but it was very disruptive and effected our ability to relax in the evenings. I would hope the staff would address this kind of behavior so that other guests aren't disrupted by kids who's parents are allowing them to run wild. I can understand wanting to be family friendly but next time I will be asking to stay on the top floor to avoid it!

The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The breakfast was good. The little gym was good and the hotel supplied access to a computer for checking mail. The staff was friendly.

The room was not very clean - the floor did not appear to be vacuumed very well - there was a water bottle by the air conditioner and bits of other junk on the floor. We were not convinced the sheets or pillow cases were clean - the sheets were crinkled/wrinkled up in a spot approximating where one would be laying, and in a manner not consistent with laundry wrinkles and folds. The hotel was fully booked so staff may have been stretched. The chlorine was so strong in the pool area that it burned your eyes and we didn't even bother.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. As we were travelling with a small baby it was very easy to go get our breakfasts in shifts if she was sleeping.

The only disappointment we had was the water slide was closed when we took our granddaughter for a swim one day.

Close for business/close to malls/Tim Horton's is very close to the hotel!! friendly staff/cleanliness/the cleaning staff was VERY friendly.

around 8am kids and people were very noisy in the hallway, when people had signs on the outside of their room doors "not to be disturbed sleeping".

The rooms were clean and tidy.

I don't like using plastic utensils and styrofoam plates and cups. If this company is truly interested in saving the planet, it would be wise to use china and flatware. There is only one elevator, very difficult to move in and out in the mornings.

Our stay was great - the hotel was so so clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was really delicious, and a wonderful variety as well. We had a wonderful experience.
