Nice staff, cheap suite. Noisy travelers. I've asked for a calm level (conference at 9 am) and they told me it would be calm, but I've heard noises until 2 am. No dishes in a suite !!!

Room lacked minimal cleanliness Leaky bathroom Leaky fridge in kitchenette Heater not operable when outside temperature was -17 degrees The fact that they did not mention that $250 was needed as a security deposit and me having to create a scene to get that waived!

In our room we liked the kitchen area, the bed was firm and comfortable, there were two large TVs, there was a recycling bucket, and the curtains were nice. The maid did a great job every day cleaning the room. The reception area was nice and the desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The buffett breakfast was really nice and there were a lot of choices. The breakfast area staff were very efficient. We liked that there were some fall/Hallowe'en decorations outside the hotel and in the reception area. Nice touch! Hotels should replace carpet in the rooms with laminate floor. We thought there should have been another comfortable chair - not just one - or a small couch. Regading the design of the suite - too much space had been allocated to the kitchenette, making the living room area a bit small. There is no stove, so no real cooking could be done there, and therefore not so many cupboards are really needed. There should have been real cups included with the dishes. Every plastic and paper cup was wrapped in more plastic! Seemed unnecessary. There were not enough hangers in the closets. We felt that there were too many disposable throw-away products used in the breakfast area of the hotel. Real plates, cups, bowls and utensils would have been nice and much more environmentally friendly. Overall, though, we were satisfied with the hotel.

We are absolutely disappointed with this hotel. We stayed there in room 732 from August 6, 2012 till August 7, 2012 (fortunately not too long!) When we arrived at 12.30 P.M. the room was not ready as the check-in is at 15.00 only. It's ok, so we left our luggage in the luggage room and went out to enjoy the city. As in the description of the room there is mentioned that it is equipped with kitchen, kitchenette and kitchenware we bought some food to cook in evening. The availability of the kitchen was the thing that influenced our choice of the hotel by the way. When we returned to the hotel and got the keys to our room we found out that in the room there are only shelves, a fridge and microwave are available. All our products were to throw away as they couldn't be cooked in the microwave. So guys were telling lies in the description of the room. When we asked to let us cook in the kitchen of the hotel the receptionist called Roberto refused us, even though he understood that all our food would spoil or be thrown away. Our friend from New York was staying at the same period at the same hotel and her room didn't have a proper kitchen either. The second thing that shocked us was the charge of the deposit. We were asked to provide a credit card and the receptionist Roberto said that he would hold cad 50 per night. We don't have a credit card, only a debit one with a limited amount of money on it so we suggested paying in cash. Roberto said that in cash it would be cad 250 per night!!! We didn’t have so much Canadian dollars with us so we suggested American bucks. Roberto said that it was ok but next day on check-out he would return us only cad 237. a strange system! The third thing that made us sad was the entrance to the room. Dirty toilet paper was lying in front of the door. It's not the last one! Towel hanger in the bathroom dropped down as soon as we touched the towel. What do you think?

Location is excellent - within walking distance of all parts of the city. Easy to get to and from the airport via bus. Staff is very friendly and helpful with information. It's great that they have breakfast included in the room price. Housekeeping did not clean our room on one day (we were there for 6 days). We had been gone all day and returned around 4pm and room had not been cleaned. We spoke to one of the housekeepers in the hall outside our room as we were going out to dinner and told her our room had not been cleaned and requested it be cleaned while we were out. We returned later that evening and it was still not cleaned. We called the front desk and they sent up fresh towels. The manager called later to apologize and asked if there was anything else we needed. At least he was aware of the problem and spoke to us about it.

Our suite was very comfortable and clean. The hotel was also not too far from the waterfront and the restaurants. The breakfast was excellent - variety to choose from and was always stocked, even before closing time. The front staff were helpful and curtious as well as the staff helping out during breakfast time. I will definitely stay and recommend to friends.

On 2 consecutive days we went out between 10am and 11am. We arrived back around 4pm each day to find our room not cleaned. The first time the desk clerk said we had left our do not disturb sign on so they didn't clean. The sign was definitely not on. The 2nd day, we were told they clean up to 5pm and ours would get done. In each case we were tired from touring and wanted to take a nap before going out in the evening. We couldn'T. I resented the supervisor telling me he had conflicting stories about the room sign and didn't know who to beleive. The second day he said we didn't request an early clean up!! In general the staff behind the front desk couldn't be more helpful. They gave us maps, directions and suggestions where we could go. Too bad they don't clean the rooms as well.
