nothing was good about the hotel except for good location.
The room I booked had a kitchen but no cooker and not a single kitchenette. The kitchen was more like a decoration to the room... Lack of facilities Poor breakfast options. I DONT RECOMMEND.
the location i love the wifi the staff very very helpful the free breakfast really yummy the view everything..........
the maid did a half way job on our room two days in a row left bottles sitting there but no big deal it was pice a cake for me to throw them out
Loved the breakfast that was included in my deal. Loved the staff...they were so friendly and hospitable! The room was great, just what was required. The location was great...close to Rue St. Catherine's and Rue St. Denis...all the infamous streets you would want to explore. Really close to Chinatown which is an awesome place in itself! Close to great restaurants and bars as well! A great trip all around!
The staff were helpful. The sheets were clean. The WIFI worked. The breakfast was EXCELLENT and staff at breakfast were friendly and helpful.
THe carpets were badly stained and seemed dirty. The bed was very uncomfortable and sagged in spots. There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke coming from other rooms and drifting into ours. The fridge was VERY loud. The place needs a face-lift. Very dated decor.
location pet friendly
$50 surcharge for pet that was not disclosed at the time of reservation
location is good
smell is bad
The hotel has a convenient location just steps away from China Town and Vieux Montreal and fair price for a really big room, ample closet and bathroom space. Breakfast options are also very good:bananas, apples, cereal, omellette, toasts, good coffee, yogurt and more.
The carpet needs heavy cleaning. You can see many black spots of spillings, so this is something that needs heavy improvement.
Most highlights are on walking distance restaurants, theater, museums, old city, Inhouse parking.
E of blv st laurent are more junks. Only reading light was between 2 beds. Room was very dark. parking is not the cheapest. In the weekends parkings for 10$ can be found close by. plastic fork and knife at breakfast.
Great hot/cold breakfast, parking on site (cost of parking did not bother us), location to Old Montreal, restaurants, etc.
The breakfast was awesome and the staff very friendly and helpful. The fitness room was also great. Thanks
8 mins to the church.
The smell in the room is terrible! The bed is not comfy like other Holiday inns. There's only a sheet to cover while the heating didn't work well. We both feel cold at the midnight. The parking is expensive 22+Tax. Though they provide free breakfast, it's just like FREE.
Close to Old Monteal and St. Catherine street
Facilities and rooms in dire need of updating
Came in on greyhound bus. Short walk to hotel. Easy to find. Left on train. Another short walk to viarail station. Interesting trackside to old port and restaurants.
Did not need kitchenette.
Staff were friendly and helpful
No dishes in the kitchenette. The bathroom has mold around the shower.
The beds were comfortable and the location was excellent. The staff were helpful in providing a map and suggesting things to do. It was also appreciated that they held our bags before and after check-in and check-out.
I had requested two double beds and when I arrived I was given one double bed and a sofa bed. Given that I had arrived hours before check-in, I was surprised that this accommodation was not met. The next night the staff were able to switch rooms, but it would have been nice to have two beds for both nights.
Location is excellent accessible to everything. Breakfast is excellent.
The cleaning lady, she was at our door wanting to do her job, told her we are on way out that was around 0800 hrs. We were back in the room at 1500 hrs.and the room was not cleaned. AT 1700 hrs. she came knocking again,we were to tired then, and we did not want to be bothered. The toilet does not flush good.
Mattress Dirty towels marks all over the walls generally run down
central and I could book it last minute
somewhat run down
Just Location ..
Too expensive and too low where Holiday inn express stander ..
I will stay there again for sure. We enjoyed each and evry second .. Great experience!
Just the some of the breakfast items finish quickly even before 10 AM ... Part from this everything was fantastic
Room was comfortable and clean and facilities were good. Breakfast was excellent. Great range of food
. . We had 2 heavy cases and requested a trolley to take them to our room , we had to wait 20 mins to get one and during this time staff were unhelpful, also on check out I asked a question about the parking fee which I understood had been pre paid. the staff member dealing with me was curt to the point of rudeness. We also had very long waits for the lifts from the car park. The airconditioning was loud which didnt help sleep.
Parking in the same building and two televisions in studio. Location
Having to ask for toilet paper, kleenex, linen for the sofa bet. In a studio you expect a few dishes. When asked for...got paper plates and utensil. When you pay 200$ a night in a studio really? Our plastic card got deactived twice. Really not enjoyable.
The room was surprisingly nice and spacious. Great views
Spider in my room.
