Score from 163 reviews Good
cleanliness, helpful staff, parking and easy access to hotel..very good breakfast
Heating/Air system was noisy..Third night of our stay in connecting /suite baby was crying all night.Connecting rooms of Suites should not be mixed for mature and young couples with babies
Nice place, location worked for us since we were visiting family in the city. Staff were pleasant enough, nice breakfast selection for a quick meal.
Need a high end restaurant lose by
Helpful, friendly staff. Good quality room with very comfortable bed. Very good breakfast choice
Nice clean rooms. Booked the "room selected at check in" and got a very nice suite. Friendly staff and good value for the money!
If I have to chose something for "improvements" I must say the coffee served in the breakfast area was not the best...
Very friendly staff and all the amenities one could need. Extremely comfortable bed with a choice of soft/firm pillows. Although a drive to get to downtown, still close to restaurants, etc.
Way to expensive for a very basic hotel.
Good size room; very quiet at night; very clean, fresh looking facilities.
Close to everything and good breakfast .
Little overpriced for a basic room .
Very clean hotel, much cleaner than many others in Kingston. Location just off the 401 id good unless one wants to be near downtown Kingston.
Breakfast Accomodations Location
Only the slip with the garbage not being removed for 2 days-however I removed it myself
Some Staff not very knowledgeable of operation
Location for our needs was good....
Breakfast was terrible,it was fast food badly prepared. for the cost of the hotel it was unacceptable. lighting in the room was poor.
Newly built Very clean
I thought we got good value for the money and the fact that we did not have to go far for a meal or shopping. I was very happy with my experience and would not hesitate to stay there again. I was impressed that our room was available to us before 3:00 p.m. and that we were told to help ourselves to coffee or tea while our room became available.
The reason we went to Kingston was for Queen's University, Facualty of Education and most of our favourite restaurants are in the downtown area so we had to pay extra for parking.
Pool was a little cool but the area was spotless, plenty of towels
Easy to access.
Obnoxious smell in the room from a chemical used to clean. Cleaning lady did offer to clean again with just water to omit the smell.
We enjoyed the pool, the more than plenty breakfast, the professionalism of the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms, the halls, the location, the value for our money, the proximity of restaurants, shopping mall, 24-hr pharmacy.
The stupidity of adults letting their children jump and dive in the pool when prohibited by a sign and at proximity of other people trying to swim.
Great buffet food
A bit pricey We were given a room modified for disabled individuals which meant no bath tub....this is ok but they should tell you this when you check in
We passed by on our trip from Montreal to Toronto and were glad we stayed. Very comfortable rooms, quiet, close enough to town for dinner and easy to get back to the highway.
Didn't like the breakfast it wasn't fresh at all bread muffins etc. stale. Bacon and sausage terrible
Excellent location and great breakfast( free). Rooms are well appointed pull out bed hard felt the springs in my back.
Pool over crowded and over clorined as all of us had trouble breathing and burning eyes and throat. Reported it with no real concern by staff. Rooms cost for our large group was way to much and no real discount was offer for business or group .
Staff are pleasant, especially housekeeping. Personally, I had no problems as the minus side is re observation of other clients' incidents. The drain in room 422 could be looked at... I unscrewed the stopper to allow the water to run down more easily.
1. Front staff needs to be bilingual... I ended up translating a bit for the people before me in line. 2. You need to have a manager on call for those tender moments where a client has a problem with a room, but cannot be changed due to being made on booking.com (an irate client late at night before me in line)... there must be a compromise that can be reached instead of 'we can't do that as you made your reservation on booking.com' is just not client service and leaves a sour taste (ruins relationship) to return to that hotel. 3. With the bulk of population getting to be senior, the flooring is not the safest, being so polished and slippery especially when pool people walk on it. While there were yellow signs, even the most able-bodied find it difficult not to slip.
Very well maintained
