Location isn't the greatest. Hotel is dated decor and style. Staff not very friendly. For the room rate, certainly not value for money.
Quiet, and peaceful night close to the keg
Breakfast Clean Decor Room (king room) More towels then you will ever need (4 bath, 4 hand,4 face towels) Pillows
Noisy, can hear into next room Ice machine was loud even down the hall (7 doors down) Bed was a little firm for me
Great location right off major highway
The room where in good shape Easy acces from the high way
The guy in the reception was not friendly at all
Staff very friendly, Good breakfast. Coffee and tea available at any time at the breakfast area. Flexible to change, cancel or extend the booking.
No fridge in the room. Coffee maker was in the room. But I prefer to have a kettle, so that we can get hot water within few minutes.
A little softer bed
There was no fridge, that was the Holliday Inn that did not have a fridge.
Awesome choices during Breakfast, because of this it's worth staying here. Room was clean however, the beds were not as comfortable as I had expected them to be. Overall, we had a good experience staying here. They were also very nice to accommodate us with another parking spot. Very good price for everything we got. Would stay here again!
A very clean and well run hotel. Staff is involved and know how to perform their duties. Always helpful and pleasant. Rooms are well maintained and quiet. Breakfast is often included in your reservation and is quite good.
Like many hotels the bathroom light and the fan are on the same switch. We like to leave the bathroom light on after retiring, the noise of the fan is a bit of a nuisance.
Price competitive. Bed comfortable.
I would give toddlers better facilities for breakfast. Don't you trust guests to handle real knives? Breakfast was nothing short of terrible. Room fine but whine of air con very disruptive. Didn't like not being able to open a window.
I did not like ,on how on a monday morning with the continental breakfast included. Staff were emptying the breakfast at 9:25 am. People were still eating and some have arrived 5 min passed the finish time for breakfast and everyting was gone. Big thumbs doen for that.
Bathroom had hairs in toilet shower Bathroom walls were not clean Room smelled of body odour
Very friendly and helpful staff. Close to a variety of restaurants and a short drive to the YMCA. A very good breakfast buffet especially the cinnamon buns. The Decour is a little dated, and the fitness room is at best average.
I was pleasantly surprised when I walk in from the outside it looks run down & old. But on the inside it was nice & clean & inviting. Staff were very nice & accommodating. Was only a 5 min drive to the area mall
Not a lot of choice on restaurants
Location is good, continental breakfast was pretty decent
The smell of the hotel was harsh for me. My friends and I bought air fresheners spray and cones to no avail in the short time frame
Clean property with good proximity to Centenary Hospital. We thought to give this property a try. Fortunately in the same general location is a competitor that knows how to treat customers right. For our next appointment at Centenary Hospital we will go back to the Best Western Plus Executive Inn for overnight accomodation.
Hotel had plenty of vacancy. Manager on duty refused to provide a room upgrade when asked because he said our reservation was done through Booking.com. Additionally no incentives were provided for the restaurant located adjacent to hotel property. The manager made us feel like second class customers because we used Booking.com. Next time we are travelling for medical reasons to Centenary Hospital we will go back to the Best Western Plus Executive Inn.
I liked everything: - very nice hotel with large breakfast facilities - friendly staff - good price including free parking, free internet, free breakfast. - large rooms - quick and easy check-out
I needed to stay near Pickering and not so far from Toronto downtown and found this hotel with reasonable comfort and amenities. I did like: Size of room Brick walls and decoration Armchairs and desk with comfy chair Wireless internet
The king size bed was too hard on one side and too soft on the other. My room had no fridge. However, after the first night the hotel staff was kind enough to put one at no extra charge
First time staying in Scarborough, I usually stay in downtown. Location was convenient. The bed was very comfortable. Bath&Body Works toiletries were very nice.
The staff members need to learn to smile. Get better staff. The staff during daytime was very pleasant they were willing to help. The staff in the morning was extremely rude. That's the only reason i wouldn't stay here again.
As a solo traveller I made use of public transport, bus stop close direct to Subway, you need to change trains but you can reach City in about 50mins, all for 3 dollars. No food in hotel after breakfast closed, choice was adequate but I found the dining area rather cramped. I got a tray to eat in my room, a prefered option. Local take outs will deliver to you, the Caribbean situated in the local petrol station does an excellent Jerk Chicken.
The staff were professional.
- room smelled bad - no air circulation, completely congested, couldn't breath - room wasn't fully clean - dim lighting - no desk to work on or place laptop while writing report for work
The staff and support staff was excellent at time. You will be able to receive a comfortable sleep.
We didn't like they had dog poop outside the entrance. There was no T cut to the entrance at the front making it difficult if you had a wheel chair. They never had any bacon for breakfast especially Canadian bacon seeing it is Canada. No extra curricular activity on the cite.
Bed and bath.
Breakfast. Breakfast was closed at 9:30AM, closing time was 10AM.
I was expecting muffins and bagels . We got eggs, omelet sausages toast good coffee. There was a pancake machine
The labels for plastic cups wasn't well marked I put garbage into the recycle container.
