Location is good, continental breakfast was pretty decent
The smell of the hotel was harsh for me. My friends and I bought air fresheners spray and cones to no avail in the short time frame
Clean property with good proximity to Centenary Hospital. We thought to give this property a try. Fortunately in the same general location is a competitor that knows how to treat customers right. For our next appointment at Centenary Hospital we will go back to the Best Western Plus Executive Inn for overnight accomodation.
Hotel had plenty of vacancy. Manager on duty refused to provide a room upgrade when asked because he said our reservation was done through Booking.com. Additionally no incentives were provided for the restaurant located adjacent to hotel property. The manager made us feel like second class customers because we used Booking.com. Next time we are travelling for medical reasons to Centenary Hospital we will go back to the Best Western Plus Executive Inn.
I liked everything: - very nice hotel with large breakfast facilities - friendly staff - good price including free parking, free internet, free breakfast. - large rooms - quick and easy check-out
I needed to stay near Pickering and not so far from Toronto downtown and found this hotel with reasonable comfort and amenities. I did like: Size of room Brick walls and decoration Armchairs and desk with comfy chair Wireless internet
The king size bed was too hard on one side and too soft on the other. My room had no fridge. However, after the first night the hotel staff was kind enough to put one at no extra charge
First time staying in Scarborough, I usually stay in downtown. Location was convenient. The bed was very comfortable. Bath&Body Works toiletries were very nice.
The staff members need to learn to smile. Get better staff. The staff during daytime was very pleasant they were willing to help. The staff in the morning was extremely rude. That's the only reason i wouldn't stay here again.
As a solo traveller I made use of public transport, bus stop close direct to Subway, you need to change trains but you can reach City in about 50mins, all for 3 dollars. No food in hotel after breakfast closed, choice was adequate but I found the dining area rather cramped. I got a tray to eat in my room, a prefered option. Local take outs will deliver to you, the Caribbean situated in the local petrol station does an excellent Jerk Chicken.
The staff were professional.
- room smelled bad - no air circulation, completely congested, couldn't breath - room wasn't fully clean - dim lighting - no desk to work on or place laptop while writing report for work
The staff and support staff was excellent at time. You will be able to receive a comfortable sleep.
We didn't like they had dog poop outside the entrance. There was no T cut to the entrance at the front making it difficult if you had a wheel chair. They never had any bacon for breakfast especially Canadian bacon seeing it is Canada. No extra curricular activity on the cite.
Bed and bath.
Breakfast. Breakfast was closed at 9:30AM, closing time was 10AM.
I was expecting muffins and bagels . We got eggs, omelet sausages toast good coffee. There was a pancake machine
The labels for plastic cups wasn't well marked I put garbage into the recycle container.
Breakfast. Located near the zoo.
Our room was nonsmoking but the bathroom was filled with a horrendous smoke smell that would not leave. At checkout we told the staff at the front desk. He was pleasant but did not offer any discount.
Hotel is excellent and I like the fact that there were no hassle to cancel the booking because we booked the hotel for three days and our plan changed and decided to stay there for two days only. They were happy to cancel the booking without fee. Staff were very helpful. I even got the non-dairy creamer for my coffee.
The only think I did not like was the breakfast for vegetarians. For vegetarian they had only breads. I am talking about the vegetarians who do not eat meat, fish and eggs, but do eat dairy product.
breakfast is free and was very good.
there smoking room smells something more than just a smoke smell. way too bad smell. neigboring room very loud and smells crack. i dont know why they allow that or they dont even care.
One of the afternoon staff at the check in counter is abrupt(although not to us), I feel that he could be more helpful if he wants to. The rooms are clean
Good location to reach the north-western area of greater Toronto without hitting the morning traffic. Price was good. Breakfast included, though not on the same level like other Holiday Inn's.
Room was in an older condition. A/C was loud (something i usually don't even mind) and windows were locked.
The bathroom fan is so loud that you can barely stand to be in the room. The air conditioner fan is nearly as bad. The room also smells damp and mouldy.
The price was the only thing good about this hotel.
The room smelled. The location was in a bad neighborhood. The beds were uncomfortable. The rooms and bathrooms were not clean.
Mattress and pillows were very good.
The cable signal on the TV get going off. It would come back up but it was regular and annoying.
Poor room air conditioning
Free parking and breakfast ,just off 401.
They took the breakfast bar away before our eyes we arrived 5 min before breakfast was over at 0930 and they would not let us fill our plates or get anything, very poor customer service, you should be allowed to sleep in on vacation breakfast should be served until 10 am and then muffins and juice and coffee left out for late risers.
excellent bed and coverings
breakfast less nutritous
Functional, clean, comfortable. Definitely stay again. Staff are friendly and very helpful.
I would say the hot food breakfast is somewhat of a token gesture. Overall breakfast is basic, but reliable. The chocolate vending machines are not cooled, so I consumed melted chocolate bars, not nice.
Breakfast time limit, should be until at least 11:00am.
The facility is welcoming and comfortable. The included hot breakfast is a welcome feature that seems to have been abandoned by many hotels.
