Staff were very helpful and the hotel was clean Pool was under construction ~ this was the deciding feature as to where we stayed. There were extra charges for parking not listed in the online revue

The houe maid wasfriendly. Hidden costs. 15 dollars a day just to park your car. Will stay somewhere else next time. They also encumber money from your credit card which I do not like. The front desk and waiters in the resto are not well trained. Just not worth the money.. I recommend you stay somewhere else. Too expensive for what you get.

L'emplacement, beaucoup de gens nous ont informé que le coin n'étaient pas sécuritaire. Nous sommes resté dans notre chambre lors de nos temps libre plutot que d'aller visiter la ville.

The only thing i liked about the hotel was the location as it was 1 block from where my function took place was. Otherwise i will not recommend anyone to stay there. There were numerous reasons that i would not recommend this hotel: - the restaurant has horrible hours and do not accommodate to late nights/early mornings - no fridge in the room and it took 1/2hr to look for the information booklet about the hotel and attractions for winnipeg - the swimming pool area was clean, but no towels were stocked - i got bed bugs from my stay and still have yet to hear back from the manager - not enough towels in our suite - vending machine on our floor was out of order and no signs on the door or vending machine

We were pleasantly surprised with how great our stay was at the Downtown Holiday Inn. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean. We booked our room online and were pleased with the price of the room. The location was excellent for us since we attended a concert at the mts center - it was jus a short walk. The only thing I would suggest is that the hotel pick up a portion or all of the parking bill for guests who stay at the hotel. It would make us feel even more special. We would definitely stay there again. We were not overly impressed that we had to pay for our parking - we feel that the hotel could cover the cost for guests parking - even up to a "cap" amount. Also the street noise was loud but that is expected on a friday night in downtown wpg.

I was not blown away by anything, but it was all around a decent place to stay. They really use smoke and mirrors to make the pool and gym look bigger in the pictures. Some cleanliness issues around the pool. Very limited hours for the restaurant.
