Score from 260 reviews Very good
Front desk attendant who helped to check me in was very helpful in understanding the immediate area and pointed out locations for me to potentially buy needed items for my hike.
Elevator failed, rung bell, picked up the phone in the elevator, nobody answered our call. We had to call front desk on our cell. Hotel staff didn't respond right away. My room was on the village walk, it was very noisy at night until 2am.
Suite rooms are amazing, location is perfect and prices are super reasonable
No pool only a spa, very complicated hotel layout elevator and long access wise
The facilities were excellent. We had a room with a loft, which was great for 2 couples. Location was close to shops & restaurants etc.
The entrance to & from the underground carpark was confusing. The lift to our rooms was not accessed from the lobby, which was also confusing.
I was not expecting much from this hotel considering the low price but I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were a very good size, nicely updated and appointed and you really can't beat the amazing location of this hotel. It's right in the middle of the village so easy walking access to anything you need!
Location was great, jet tubs a bonus, kitchen was clean and room was spacious
Bathroom flooded due to a leaky faucet which had us switching rooms @ 4 am! Wasn't pleased yet they did provide a room reduction to compensate.
Fire alarm faulty. Tolerable when it went off several times in the afternoon but when it went off at 3:30 am annoying. We were told by the front desk when we checked out that a drunk had pulled the alarm in the early morning but the coincidence was too obvious. He was just avoiding having to offer us any kind of compensation. Even an apology.
Location was the best attribute
Did not like the charging in advance of my credit card for $200 incidentals, and the fact that fire alarm went off 3 times, including at 3 am
The location is perfect for strolling in the lower village as well for getting to the upper village. The place is clean and amenities up to a good standard.
We woke up twice to a fire alarm within 12 hours. The first time, during a nap in the afternoon after the Granfondo, there was no communication from the staff regarding the incident whatsoever. The second time at 3:30 AM someone came on the speaker system telling the underdressed freezing crowd on the outside it was a false alarm. But of course, our four year old was freaked out and had trouble sleeping afterwards. I dealt with two people at the front desk, and one was clearly not up to par. For instance he falsely claimed I was already given the dashboard card for the parkade, so I went back to my room to check and back to the lobby to line up.
Location, very quite but next to everything important and good facilities like the gym or jacuzzi
Although full on tourist area the shops etc offered fair prices. We had a lovely standard room with full kitchen faculties. An excellent design overall including the bathroom. Check in staff very pleasant.
The underground car park. You needed to have a GPS to navigate your way to designated area and the park space was very tight for full size vehicle if you were 2 nd car in to space. Took a while to figure how to get from your room (5 th.) floor to access village.
In the heart of Whistler village, pretty clean and spacious rooms. Cheaper parking compared to the other hotels in the area.
No restaurants or café in the hotel
kitchen was nice and stocked with everything you would need, location was good and central to whistler activities especially spectating the ironman event, bed was comfy and pleasant
no outdoor pool, would be nice to be able to take in the outdoorness of whistler instead of being in a spa room, bedroom was a bit dark, some more daylight would be nice
The parking was very convenient, was close to the elevator.
The room was smaller than we expected.
Washer and dryer in kitchen. Hotel compensated us fairly for having to make complaint calls to lobby about noise.
Hotel is an older building with thin walls. Hotel quiet time is 11PM which seems too late. Hotel tolerates loud partying guests.
Great location. Friendly staff.
Room noisy, woken up several times. Room right beside elevator. Elevator alarm went off twice in night . Thought it was fire alarm at first. Can clearly hear partygoers in village until 3 am. Bed was a double instead of queen
We had one night and were on the 6th floor. The 20 somethings had turned the floor into a party until 4am in the halls.. Will stay away from the village next time. Bad parking!
Bad parking! Seen no security.Bed was a old rock hard sprung spring mattress Very very noisy!!
I like the location ,it's close to everything restaurants and shops and the amenities in the studio unit that I booked.
Me and my friends had interrupted sleep. We can hear noices outside our bedroom door, we can hear foot steps on top of us.and the elevator going the rooms are not located where the reception is located which I find it odd. The futon bed was the most uncomfortable bed ever. I woke up with a sore back.there is no airconditioning in the room.
Central location. Spacious. Clean
Windows opened onto the main walkway and I could hear people discussing their drinking exploits until 2am. It was too hot to sleep without the windows open as the air con was really noisy.
Proximity to the city and free public parking Kitchen facilities Friendliness of the staff Location
Bedroom without windows The smell in the lift due to the mongolian restaurant Exposure to rain and weather as the apartment was location in another building Parking price
WE PARKED IN YOUR UNDERGROUND PARKING BUT COULD NOT FIND OUR ROOM. WERE TOLD TO TAKE THE ELEVATOR TO THE 4TH FLOOR, THEN TAKE THE STAIRS DOWN TO THE 3RD. THIS DIDNT WORK, BUT A VERY HELPFUL FEMALE EMPLOYEE FINALLY CAME TO OUR AID, AND AFTER TOO LONG A STRUGGLE WE FOUND THE ROOM.
For the price of this hotel it was the worse stay I have had ever! The whole experience was so unpleasant!!
Room was nice, Air con good.
No pool. No free parking. At $150 a night I want to be able to park my car !
Great location. Lovely helpful staff! Good sized room and very comfy bed!
Location, parking, friendliness of part of staff
Pricey for the features it has, phone was not working, wrote my name wrong on their records and didn't fix
location staff was nice
