You always know what to expect from Holiday Inn in any country of the world when you travel - it is usually good value of money and great quality Speaking about this hotel in particular: * Location (metro station in nearby, all shops, restaurants and necessary facilities are also nearby). * Small fitness room in the hotel itself has everything that you need and is open for 24 hours * Restaurant "Fox and Fiddle" in the same building
We liked everything
Very convenient to R0M, Koerner Hall and subway.Very walkable city.
As former residents of Toronto years ago we were fascinated by the growth, the variety of the restaurants, the population and the things to do and see. We liked it all.
UK female on business trip i spent a week here November 2014. It's a great location opposite the ROM theatre steps from designer shops. Room was spacious with a desk and the bed was extremely comfortable with spotless linen. Room was cleaned very well daily. No noise from outside room 617. I slept brilliantly while I was there.
The breakfast room is like a pub, tired carpets. Hotel guests have a voucher and are served from a couple of options on the full menu. This gave a cheap feeling to the experience
quietness, location, cleanliness and comfort
only one little thing....the cleaning staff did not leave coffee and tea in the room...so had to call down and ask..no big deal!!
Right by train station so easy to get around city from here. Staff were friendly.
Tired and old decor. Not worth the price.
Nearness to subway.
It was noisy, as you could hear people walking in the hall. Room was small.
I stayed at this hotel while in Toronto for 4 days to visit my daughter, who also stayed at the hotel with me. The hotel was older but clean and bright. Our room was a comfortable size for the two of us am the beds were super comfortable. The hotel was in a great location for us as it was close to my daughter's workplace and across the street from a Metro station. I would recommend this hotel.
There was a pub next to the hotel and a NYFries, but no restaurant in the hotel for a suitable breakfast ( my suitable - fruit, cereals, etc).
Comfy beds Morning paper
Had to ask for extra blankets
clean & confortable, very accomodating staff.
Great staff, paid respects on Rememberance Day in the lobby. Very clean rooms. Friendly people to take care of you. Great trip to Toronto and great stay at this hotel. I have been before and I will return!
Nice location convenient for University of Toronto and the Royal Ontario Museum.
The on-site parking garage was convenient and clean. Location was good.
The rooms and hallways neednto be refreshed.
I'm a museum professional, and this trip was specifically focused on research at the ROM.
Getting a parking ticket, though when I checked in, I did provide my plate, and made the staff aware I had a vehicle. Very surprised to get a parking ticket after I checked out. I even double checked that morning with staff that though I signed out, I still had one full day to go at the ROM, and I was assured everything was fine.
There was an immediate musky+food stench when we walked in. The bathtub was yellow and there was hair left on the bathroom wall. Due to these conditions, we decided not to shower since we only stayed one night. STARS: ☆☆☆
The bed was very clean and the room was very comfortable.
Bathroom wasn't clean. There was no tissue in the room and in the bathroom. With this price, next time, I prefer to stay in a room that has refrigerator in case I need cold water during night.
easy access to subway and trams. plenty of eating options nearby. good sized room.
decor a bit dated and rugs showed evidence of wear and tear. A fridge would have been nice. only one bed side lamp between twin beds.
Close to a variety of restaurants and the metro.
The price was a high.
The facilities, cleanliness and comfort are nice.
I have two things I didn't like. First, the receptionist has changed my room without my consent to double bed. Second, I found it very strange with their rules about breakfast, I have booked breakfast included, but not the case during checking in- this was ridiculous to me. Please make it clear on the website.
Special thanks to Mary at the front desk who was pleasant and provided excellent. Service on my arrival and departure.
Freindly staff ,good location for shopping and nearby subway and comfortable beds with the most amazingly comfortable pillows
Would have been useful to have a small fridge in the room
small parking garage - lots of room short distance parking to elevator short distance elevator to front desk short distance elevator to front door short distance elevator to room
could not answer the phone - message system engages too soon
Convenient location. We could walk to most of the places we wanted to see.Easy subway connection to the airport
The beds in my room were very soft.
Location is good.
No frige,no frige,no frige!!!
