Highly recommended for skiing at Kicking Horse. The hostess is incredibly friendly and good fun to talk with. Delicious breakfast and dinner.

Lovely, spacious, well-designed house with fabulous outlook onto mountains. Many facilties - the laundry and drying area was extremely useful. The bubbly and vivaceous hostess Lynn was extremely welcoming and helpful and gave us some great advice for the rest of our trip. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and tasty. We were only here for 1 night and really wished we had booked for longer. Excellent value.

This is one of the best places we found during our 3 weeks trip in Roky Mountains. This B&B offers all you could imagine and is perfectly located to visit the surroundings. The house is fantastic, the confort excellent and we shared lots of discussions and experiences with the owner. Additionnally the breakfast was perfect.

Lynn was outstanding! She was a warm, friendly and supportive host, who provided excellent hiking and dining recommendations along with a beautiful home baked breakfast. Even though we only stayed one night, Lynn went out of her way to ensure that all of our needs were taken care of. She set the standard for our entire Canadian trip!

We had a splendid stay at Home Lodge, were treated more like friends rather than just guests. Our room was so lovely, nice duvets, warm bathroom tiles, rich breakfast...this place is definitely worth staying more than 2 nights. Lynn and Siggi have lots of interesting stories to tell.

The great accommodation, and delicious breakfasts. - Lynn was a pleasure to talk to and very helpful and knowledgeable about Golden and it's surrounding areas. It is a short drive into town for dinner. Highly recommend rafting out of Golden - Lynn can give you details about this. We would recommend Home Lodge to family and friends (in fact we already have!)

Every aspect of our stay was positively exceptional. We have long sought accommodation in and around Golden and now we have found it.

We cannot think of a negative comment to make.

This was one of the top locations during our three weeks trip to Canada. A very confortable room, Lynn as a very friendly and warm-hearted hostess, a delicious, freshly-made breakfast in the morning by Lynn, a great living room as part of the B & B with a huge window to look at the mountains. Additionally, we found the interior design of the B & B as selected by Lynn beautiful. We highly recommend this B & B and regret very much that we only stayed for one night. We should have stayed longer!

Proprietress Lynn was excellent and took such obvious pride in her hotel. Her friendly welcome set us and the children at ease immediately. Her breakfast was superb, especially the muffins. The rooms were beautiful , as was the location. The hot tub was a hit with the children and there was enough space that there was no awkward crowding with other guests. Free WIFI was very useful.

We stayed for a couple of days at Home Lodge in early July and had an excellent time there.It is a great base for visiting Glacier, Yoho and Banff National Parks and our stay there was the highlight of our one week road trip.The Lodge is located in a very scenic setting and although appearing a little remote it was only minutes by car to local restaurants and shops in nearby Golden. Lynne Heaton the owner and hostess is delightful and was most helpful on advising us on various trips during our stay.Breakfasts were of a very good standard and included freshly baked muffins, cereals, fresh fruit,cheese and or cooked breakfast with eggs and bacon if required. Whilst we have given Home Lodge the highest ratings it is important to understand that it is not a hotel but a more informal but very comfortable and modern lodge accommodation in a breathtaking setting which is also Lynn's home.

All together we stayed at three B&B during our trip. This was the best one, just wonderful.

Amazingly, Lynn lets her guests have the lodge to themselves...complete with music system, kitchen, large-screen tv, hot tub, living room and study. She lives in a separate area. The view from the front window is fabulous, and the highland cattle are on display about 30 metres away. Staying here (about 5 minutes out of Golden) is serene and comfortable....far superior to anything on offer at the motels in town. And the hosting is warm and caring, but never intrusive.

Loved it. I recommend it without hesitation.

We were made very welcome and provided with tea/coffee on arrival. Our room was perfect with ensuite facilities and a tremendous view of the nearby mountains. The sitting area was modern in style with ample seating/space and again a magnificent view towards the mountains. It was a great place to meet our hosts and other guests allowing shared use of Lynn and Siggi's small library of useful maps and reference books as well as TVetc. We were encouraged to help ourselves to tea/coffee at anytime. The breakfast was very good, well presented, varied and nutritionally balanced - an ideal start to the day, all served in a spacious well laid out dining room.Car parking ( free ) was only a few metres away and close to the small herd of attractive Highland cattle. A nice touch was an email a couple of days before we arrived with detailed instructions on how to reach the property as well as offering a chance to highlight any special requests. This was another example of how Lynn and Siggi went out of their way to make the stay as memorable and stress free as possible and we can confirm that this was achieved in our case. A most memorable B and B!!

We liked this B and B a lot. It lived up to and even exceeded our expectations so we found no fault at all.

This was just paradise on earth : superb location, nature, hospitality, cleaness, breakfast, relax, beautiful, price-quality, friendiness, etc etc.

We felt very sad that we only stayed one night. A place to come back often .... Also desserves more than 10 on 10 .....
