The place was easy to find and the location was practical. Staff was nice and helpful, hotel was very clean as was the room. Bed was comfortable and room was equipped with all of the regular amenities including a nicely working free wifi access.
Hotel is currently undergoing renovations and there was some noise pretty early in the day as a result of the construction work. There was also a pretty nasty smell in the hallways from the construction work, the smell was fortunately not present in the room. Had purchased breakfast for extra 10$, basicaly they just give you a 10$ discount for breakfast at the next door restaurant which onky opens at 7am... I had to leave at 6:30 (waste of money)
Loved staff and taxi for free, very comfy
Lighting was poor in room, no wine glasses
Convenient, clean, great staff!
Room was small, spotlight shone into window all night, no view, we weren't told there was construction.
The friendliness of the staff, the fitness center & free shuttle van.
everything was good. Location, clean, price, staff. For the average price, it is a very good choice. I would go again and again.
Parking was 20$ per night, while just infant of the building a Free night parking. They should reduce the parking rates.
Proximity to BC Place
Part of town it was situated in. Lots of homeless people.
The beds were excellent. Great night sleep.... The wifi was a strong connection. Daytime staff was very helpful and pleasant as well. ... . Lobby was comfy. Liked the idea of bicycles being available. Maybe in the summer.
Afternoon shift not quite as good as the morning ones. ... the shuttle not running as long as the card we were given was saying. ...On weekends it should run longer especially when there are games on at Rogers arena or BC Place
Smelled like detergent
My husband and I stayed 4 nights here and we enjoyed it. The customer service was very good and the complimentary shuttle was great. The room was clean and comfortable. If i visit Vancouver again I will definitely stay here.
Everything I expect from a Hotel was there for me at this Hotel.
I cannot think of anything that was not to my liking.
Staff & location
The hide-a-bed was terrible. I booked on line & booked for three people. When I got to the hotel I was told that they had charged me for tow people so charged me extra costs per day for the three days of our stay.
So many things to like. All hotels can look the same once you've sorted out location (walking distance from most things and a good restaurant for a lovely breakfast is attached - so avoiding rain!) but I liked the idea of a kitchenette and free bike hire (useful while husband working). Deal persuaded us to stay here for the whole week - so glad we did. It had everything we needed. Has a free bus but is near pubic transport. Staff extremely helpful - some of the best ever. Clean and comfortable.
Nothing about the hotel to dislike. Advise not to walk down Granville to waterfront simply because this seems to be a key street for Vancouver's homeless and "street people" - Vancouver has lots of them, apparently because of its mild climate compared with rest of Canada. We've been told it's safe (and it seems to be) but you have to dodge men staggering about due to drugs or drink. Just pick a different street to walk down and it's fine, even very late at night. We are city people so it didn't phase us (much). Didn't get to use the bikes due to almost constant rain but another guest told me they are great and some streets have bike lanes. She said staff who helped to adjust it for her were great. Too busy to even investigate the gym facilities but great to have them - wished they'd had a proper swimming pool as we would have made sure to use it. Not a problem though as so much to do in the city. We got exercise walking everywhere. Take comfortable shoes, waterproof clothes and an umbrella!
This hotel was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The beds were great. It was within walking distance from shopping and Roger's Arena. We will definitely keep this hotel in mind next time we need to stay in the city!
Friendly staff that really does an effort to please you. Free Giant (!) bikes which makes exploring Vancouver partytime:-) Free taxi-van to share. Excellent fitnessroom and terrace with lovely view over the city.
Nothing. Besides all: be aware of impressive building activities nov.2014 next to rooms numbers xx12 and xx13.
The hotel's staff was welcoming and we were also provided complimentary ferry tickets and bikes to ride. My room was nice and cozy located on 10th floor with south facing view and I enjoyed my stay there. The location is perfect with 10 mins walk to city centre and granville island. For the price I paid, it couldn't be better :-)
Great location, and kitchenette very well stocked for food preparation
Friendly staffs, nice room, clean bath room! The location was also good.
Our room (510) was very nice. The beds were comfy and the room was roomy.
We could hear a lot of outside noise and the people next door. It took a long time to get an elevator and the worst was my daughter and her husband and two friends were stuck in it for 1 1/2 hours, pretty scary.
Location Pet Friendly
Staff were helpful.
i didn't like the fact our key didn't work when we got back to hotel with my daughter after surgery & had to wait to be buzzed in onky to find we had to wait again it seemed like a fair amount of time to be buzzed in, by this time my daughter was bleeding. They did explain when I went to desk cell phones may deactivate the key had I had this info in advance I would have taken precautions.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Near a bus stop, seven eleven coffeshop and restaurants.
Great location Friendly staff Comfortable and clean room Sel;f-service laundry facilities a plus
Everything well done down to detail
Right from the check in to when we left we found the hotel staff and service to be excellent. Even though the hotel is right next to an on ramp we never once heard any traffic. Close to downtown and the waterfront as well. What more do you need?
Parking was a bit tight but that was due to our vehicle size.
