La situation de l’hôtel au fond d'une impasse car près d'un pont désaffecté et sous un pylône haute-tension crée un a-priori défavorable, mais l'intérieur de l’hôtel est très bien et la terrasse coté rivière très agréable

Personnel attentionné. On a même surclassé ma chambre par rapport à ma réservation !

Propreté(couvre-pied sale et salle de bain) et air climatisé qui a tout mouillé le plancher.

Endroit tranquille, belle vue sur la rivière.

Chambre défraichie, peinture écaillée, on a fait tomber qqch derrière le bureau à tiroir et oufffff...la balayeuse se rend pas là très très souvent !!!!! Menu du resto dans la chambre n'est plus à jour, on croyait aller manger un bon surf and turf et la serveuse nous a répondu que c'était l'ancien menu, que plusieurs personnes lui avaient fait la même demande et qu'elle avait transmis les commentaires à son patron.... Bas de murs dans la piscine avec des moisissures.

The location was great, staff was friendly, and rooms were very comfortable.

The room didn't have any information booket on the area or the hotel. The pool was cold, and the pool room was kind of stark. (No music, plants, decorations, hot tub.

Beside the regular motel stay ( clean room, bathroom, TV etc) I was pleasantly surprised when the staff brought a complimentary basket of goodies to the door. This is a reason to return. Also the complimentary breakfast was delicious. The view of the river although frozen over with snow on top was relaxing.

The only thing was that the parking lot wasn't plowed well. Lots of ice dips and hollows to manever. Winter in Canada!

It is a nice hotel to stay at and the staff are very friendly

When using the sink the water backed up in the tub. We were given the option to move to another room, but due to the fact that I was there for family matters which was very stressful, decided better not to move out of room and stay where we were. Very tired from long trip from ns and did not want to repack to go to another room. Could not use the shower due to the water issue. The girl who worked there was very friendly and helpful even offered to move our things to another room but we decilned to move. So can't complain with the service at all.

Room was clean. I had requested a quiet room as I do not sleep well when travelling, and I was provided a quiet room where I had one of my better sleeps on the road.

Hot Breakfast was a bit cold

It was a convenient location for an overnight stop between Prince Edward Island and the Gaspé peninsula. Possibility for laundry, restaurants nearby, but not really within walking distance.

The on site restaurant was closed (Sunday evening) which was disappointing as it was one reason why we had chosen this hotel above others;

I liked that it was close to family and friends the staff at the front desk were helpful.

The thing I did not like was the fact that several people were loud, slamming doors and nothing was done to get them to quiet down. I was too afraid to go out of my room or to call the front desk. Does the hotel not have a quiet time? This went on till 03:30.

The desk clerk on our arival was very friendly & helpful. I'm pretty sure his name was Kirk. The river view was wonderful. Who can mess up a view of the Mirimachi? It is an awesome river!

The pool was less than clean & cold. We were very disappointed that we could not use it. One of the main reasons I selected the HJ was the indoor pool. I travelled with my daughter & her 2 young children & we were all looking forward to going for a daily swim for fun & to help tire out the 2 toddlers. It didn't work out!

Picturesque - very good cooked breakfast. Restaurant food for evening meal was very good - good variety although not everything was available.

Rooms smelled like someone had and hotel had tried to get rid of smell

We liked it very much espescially the view of the river.

The Internet available in the lobby was very appreciated. The unlocked side doors may be convenient for shortcuts but they nevertheless are still a security hazard.

it was a central location for a family reunion we attended

the breakfast was disappointing--the fruit looked old--spoke to the front desk the second day and nothing was improved--egss and sausage appeared on Monday only--just continental the rest of the time--when I booked they raved about the breakfast--I was disappointed as we wanted to get a start to the day for our little grandchildren--I dislike when service people acknowledge something and do nothing about it--the staff responsible for the breakfast area did not seem to have a handle on the area --it was sometimes short of supplies and messy

The hotel is very dated and in need of refurbishment. Our rooms were depressing. I expected more from this brand (it was our first stay in a HoJo) and would not book at any others.

There was a team of young baseball players They were running thru halls and playing. They should have been told they needed to play In their rooms and not in halls Disturbing to other guests. I have never seen this allowed before. Another Guest also complained as I was checking in. They should not have been afraid to set better Rules with the parents. The kids could have All played together in one of their rooms. I have taken kids with me to many hotels and I have never seen this before. They rented their Rooms and the kids could have played games, Watched tv etc in the rooms. Even if they had Been noisy in there they would have been less Disturbing. They did this running around with The parents allowing it to happen. The parents needed to be spoken to. Simple fix.

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The front lobby was very open, clean and welcoming.

The hall and stairs carpets should be cleaned or replaced. The pool water was very cloudy. It did not look clean or inviting.

They have a very friendly and helpfull staff, the breakfast was excellent, and the room was outstanding (refrigerator, microwave, and a good Internet connection.)
