I did not have a good experience at the hotel. There was a leak in the ceiling of my room and the water soaked my bed during the night. The staff did not apologize, and did not offer to compensate me in any way until I insisted my concerns be escalated to the management level. They sent housekeeping to my room and insisted there was no leak until I returned to the room to show them the obvious leak and where it was soaking the bed. Management indicated they could not compensate me in any way as I had booked the room online and already got a "deal", they could not have anticipated the winter thaw that resulted in the leak and they had to charge me as I slept in the room, and the room had to be cleaned when I checked out. I managed to get 25 % of my fee back but I will never stay there again.

It was convenient and reasonably priced and close for a family funeral. Desk clerk was most helpful. The room needed updated furnishings especially lamps rug and bathroom fixtures

This was the dirtiest hotel I have ever seen in my life. I don't think the floor had ever seen a vaccum since it was put down. The bathroom sink was in total disrepair rust and chipped paint and everywhere you looked you could see filth from splatters of liquid on the doors and walls to the counter-tops. The room doors weren't even primed let alone painted. I can't believe they can get away with charging $1 let alone $80 for this. Disgusting and I plan on filing a formal complaint with the headoffice.

For us, it was the location (very close to family) and the price was very reasonable for Toronto. This is a tired old hotel; there are signs up that it is under renovation, but those same signs were up 4 years ago, and nothing appears to have changed. It seemed as if no one had used the pool area. (There were no towels, and the 'hot tub' was not heated.) I'm not complaining, since I did not pay for a premium hotel.

Nothing. It was, in all, an unfortunate experience. Staff was somewhat rude and unhelpful. The walls were very thin and we had teenagers out in the halls at all hours being very loud and banging on walls. Security did nothing despite calls made by us. The room was dirty and the second double bed in our room was broken. The free continental breakfast consisted of toast, some pastries or kid's cereals. The pastries, unfortunately, had bugs stuck to them.

The sheets seemed clean. There is free WiFi. The upper level was a student residence. There was a lot of coming and going of students and laundry hanging on the balcony's; the whole place is very 'tired' and worn. The hallways stank of asian food & curry. The door from the bedroom to the grounds area was so hard to open and close. The area that the room opened on to was a mess - looked like construction had been started and then abandoned. There was a nice grassy area on the right tho; the room had not been aired out at all for a long time - it was very stale smelling. I did not feel safe parking my car at the back of the building or leaving it there. When I arrived and finally found the room, I wanted to cancel the booking and leave but was so tired and did not know what else to do, I stayed there. The bedspread was smelly and had blood spots on it. The bed was not comfortable and the pillows were smelly too.

The employees at the front desk addressed me by my name after check-in, which was nice because I knew they took the time to actually remember it. There was a very noisy family beside our room.

Nothing. They screwed with my booking, instead of a king room they gave me a room with double bed. It was very dirty. Someone had a blunt session and left evidence behind. Shows that they don't clean thoroughly. The room keepers knock every morning asking if we are checking out, when they should know better and not to disturb us. We asked that they clean our room, but they only did it once while I was there supervising(jk I was eating) I had to wait till the keeper came around asking if we were checking out to ask to clean our room since front desk was no help at all. To add on the poor service, Our room cards did not work 2 nights in a row, for no apparent reason, and had to mission it to the ghetto front desk to ask them why, but had no explaination. My bf and I were unimpressed, we couldn't cancel it. You will get what you pay for. So from now on, I'm not settling for anything under $150. It's good if you don't care about the comments stated above, cuz it's dirt cheap. Don't let websites deceive you. Careful of miserable people at reception, and happy hunting. Nothing was great about this hotel. It looked like a scene out of a horror movie. Every night we would have to sleep with one eye open, since there was no security. Bad service, bad decor, bad everything, it'll have to be in the negatives in terms of scores. Tv was small, they shouldn't be called a hotel, more like a motel.

I liked the fact that rules laid down by the Hotel were not enforced e.g. No food to leave the breakfast area: guests were often seen taking food back to their rooms. The microwave/fridge were in good working order and the tea/coffee making facility generally worked although there was an electrical fault with it. Breakfast was reasonable; there was adequate choice to meet my needs. It was cold during my stay and the heater in the room I booked was not fit for purpose; on a good day it only managed a pitiful 'warm' temperature. The hotel also claims to be 'No smoking' although my husband & I could often smell illegal substances being smoked in a room not too far from ours. We had the misfortune to have a blocked toilet, when this was reported, the hotel staff deal with it in a very laidback style and to this day provided no mop/towels to clear up the water from the toilet floor.

Loved the staff they were great and the cleaning staff were always there. Enjoyed ourselves in the pool and spa area.. Having a continental breakfast is great as I don't like rushing out in the mornings. Also love the fact they accept dogs with out a hassel.. Overall it was a great relaxing few days.. Wish their wold of been towels at the pool side.. Everytime we went to the pool we had to go to the front desk to get towels.. but other then that our stay was great!!!
