It was clean and staff were friendly and helpful in directing us to local parks and activities, We were particularly keen on visiting buchart gardens and the Hotel was well placed for that. The restruarant was comfortable, good service and food. Having two young children, we were keen to use the swimming pool, however, even though temperatures were in the mid to high 20;s and it was 7 May, the swimming pool was not open yet.

restaurant and the service in there very dirty , broken furniture and had no tv until the last day ( we had to figure it out) called the front desk upon arrival and we had nobody address it. Found dirty socks when looking to make sure we had all our stuff and the sofa bed was sooo uncomfortable my 8 year old daughter even complained of sleeping in it because it was so uncomfortable ???? I don't think she has ever complained about a bed before. restaurant was great and great service and was a convenient location for our venue that weekend . will not stay here again

It was a very convenient location, centrally located between Sidney and downtown. The food in the restaurant was very good, especially breakfasts. Rooms were nice and clean. Staff was accomodating and pleasant. The first night we were located in a room in the front facing the highway and found the traffic noise excessive right up until midnight. The next morning we asked to be moved to the back and were promptly accomodated.

Near the restaurant where I was attending a dinner Do not stay at this hotel unless you are with a minor hockey group or swim group or any other beer swilling group of parents. The room stank, when you open the window the smoke from the kitchen staff on break wafts into the room and when the smell of chemical cleaners wears off the smell of stale beer from the carpet is what you get. Dark, noisy with stucco walls.

The location was very close to the family that I was visiting and still quite close to Victoria city center and the ferry. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room/entire building was very clean and comfortable - we enjoyed our stay. I will stay here again, the next time that I am in Victoria.

Steps to Saanich Recreation Centre and bus stop at the hotel to reach ferry or downtown. Homemade breakfast - not fast food or continental!

The location of this hotel to the commonwealth pool is excellent but they are the only ones near the facility and they lord that over customers with no flexibility,above average pricing and poor customer service

Great location as we were in Victoria for a swim meet. Rooms were clean and quiet. Front desk staff were excellent. The restaurant is mediocre. Breakfasts were ok, but go somewhere else for lunch and supper
