Was so busy a check in it took almost 20 minutes. They were clearly understaffed for the number of people the hotel can accommodate.
price, rooms need touch up ....
*no glass in bathroom *fridge was not cold and temperature was unable to be changed *room did not have a "do not disturb sign"
Great location, central to everything.. Overall good experience.. :)
Wifi should be included.. Room Windows are very small.. Room service should be 24 hours..
Front desk very helpful and welcoming. Concierge and front door staff happily assisted us with parking and taxis. Too bad this is becoming a rarity. The lobby bar was a treat.
Lobby bar expensive
The location is perfect.
Everything is fine.
everything, but most the art-location
Location and clean. I like dinning there, especially breakfast meal.
Hassle to leave ur the hotel. Need to use 3 elevators which takes more than 10 minutes. Also elevators are very slow and takes time to get any one vacant.
Staff excellent Room clean and functioning Bar was trendy Efficient check out Great location
Rooms more like a Hyatt Place room not Hyatt Regency Wifi expensive Shower pressure a little weak Only two teabags
Extremely ugly, dirty and unfriendly for such an expensive hotel. Just avoid it if you can
This hotel is in an awesome location, and it is situated on top of a mall/shopping/food area including a little grocery store. Right in the middle of where you want to be in Montreal. It's really clean, the staff is super nice, and they have French and English TV channels. The breakfast buffet is delicious!
I'd say the only things that bothered me was that you have to pay to use the Wi-Fi internet, which was 10 dollars a day for horribly slow access. Also breakfast was NOT included, which for how much you're paying per night totally should be. Also, valet parking is 32 dollars a day, and the parking structure under the hotel that I used was 20 dollars a day, they should give some kind of discount for hotel patrons. I'd say look around a little more before you choose this hotel.
Everything was great
The location, the rooms, the swimming pool
We gave some clothes for laundry and they were returned almost destroyed (treated at very high temperature) Beside there is no concierge from 17.00 h till next morning
Bed was comfortable.
Bathrooms are old and tired looking. There is not enough bright light in the bathroom and the lights have a greenish tinge to them which makes applying makeup difficult. They have added a stand alone makeup mirror but there lighting is so poor everywhere, that it doesn't help.
Location Front desk Staff in general
Room phone didn't work Room TV didn't work Sink wouldn't drain Amenities cheap considering price
You have to pay for break fast, internet, and so on.. Two twin beds for three adult guests? What about a queen and a single bed? No slippers provided. You will pay for just a name and location that's all
No light in the bathroom the first 24 hours. The WiFi broke down during the second late evening and was not repaired till dawn
very clean n comfortable room, nice staffs, best location for shoppin n sightseeing
customer service and hotel cleaning service good when available..(afternoon service??)
poor room service..late.. elvators..mess, poor availability.. and dirty, old bath fixtures..wet carpet by coffee bar and dripping water in bathroom entrance. should be checked.
Room size Connected room Two different elevators
Great pool. Indoors or outdoors as the windows all open to reveal great sun terrace.
I could not believe that they charge for wi-fi ! No-one does that anymore ! Walk across the road and use the free service at Starbucks....
clean, reception desk people very polite and knowledgeable. Car valets OK
Restaurant manager (or hotel manager, even worse and more worrisome!) had no class, was dressed inappropriately for Hyattt Co, no manners, no elegance. The guy behaved like a football player in a Bronx restaurant. Also restaurant staff spoke loudly, very relaxed, no respect, like being on vacation! Hyatt management should take action, this is serious, no class! Bad for the firm!!! No privacy in the room, noise from next room separated only by a door.
Old hotel without character
central location; very nice staff
small and old-fashioned bathroom
Very well situated hotel close to all amenities, in the very walkable part of downtown. Close to old Montreal.
It is ridiculous to have to pay a WiFi charge in this day and age to a hotel that is already at a premium charge in the city
