    The Hyatt was clean and crisp as usual, both in the lobby and in the room. Good value for the money, given that Montreal can be extremely expensive in mid-summer.

    Our room didn't have a great view. The elevator you must take from street level to lobby level is slow and uninviting.

    Central location, comfortable beds. Good bar and pool

    Room a bit small and dark. Elevator from street level very slow and had an unpleasant oily smell. We had much better rooms elsewhere on our trip for the same price.

    Said they had free appetizers in the late afternoon, but it was only for Hyatt members. The hallway and rooms were not as nice as I thought they would be. Both days the room was not cleaned until very late.

    Location location location!! Can't ask for better location! Great views of the city :) Lobby, bar & restaurant were gorgeous. Staff was great too :)

    Outdated bathrooms with tiny tub & mattress was very uncomfortable :/

    I liked the fact that you had an indoor pool and the bar lounge area was very nice

    As a frequent traveller, I've been in a lot of hotels but my room lacked a few things such as a working bathroom fan, embarrassing when with a guest, no menu for room service(had to call and get one) overpriced room service, and a bathroom that was in serious need of an upgrade. I would not stay there again, not for the money I spent

    The hotel is well located within the central downtown Montreal. The rooms are big enough for a familly with 2 children.

    The access to the lobby/reception of the hotel is strange since always we are out of the hotel we have to take the elevator to reach the lobby/reception level, and the opposite to go out of the hotel, of course.

    they need to install a new bathroom door - ours was chipping at the bottom and made it look run down. also, one night it was a little difficult to get to sleep due to all the festivals near the holtel

    Good Location

    Booked a "Deluxe King" room 6 months in advance and was given room 229 beside the elevator and maintenance room. Was woken up numerous times during our stay due to the excessive noise. Other minor issues included no fan in the bathroom and when the bathroom door was open you couldn't access the sink. When checked out and asked about our stay advised of our issues and was told "sorry to hear that" here is your bill for $700 for 3 nights (Aug 1st-Aug 4th). No effort to try and resolve our concerns or offer to speak with management to keep us as future returning customers. Overall poor customer service.

    The hotel experience was perfect. The location was in the hub of old Montreal. The loft was clean, modern and classy. Central to all amenities and only a 5 minute walk to the metro station.

    In the booking.com search engine, we requested 4 adults per room. The Lofts du Vieux-Port suited our criteria best‎. When we checked in, we were asked to pay an additional $400! Apparently we were only allowed two adults and two kids in the room. SHOCKING to find out at the time of check-in and the root of the problem: booking.com. This site does not differentiate children to adults at the time of booking, when this matters very much to the hotel. We incurred a drastic charge for something we were very clear with from the beginning. Great start to a long weekend, I'd say.

    annexed Des Jardins mall, Baton Rouge restaurants, McDonald, shops; parking, metro/subway, centre ville, China town, St. Denis restos, 24-hr gym, security, quiet, very clean...will book next time.

    When we checked into the hotel reception tried to give us the wrong type of room the water wasn't running in our room. It took them about an hour to get the water working and when it did it was coming out a yellowish brown colour. Reception said it was a building-wide issue but they sent maintenance to our room, which I found odd. I'm sure that this isn't a recurring issue with the water, however this was a poor first experience at Hyatt Regency for me considering how expensive our room was. You expect a hotel with the reputation that this one has to be more prepared to handle an issue such as this on a busy long weekend.

    I reserved a king bedded room and without asking was upgraded to the Presidendial suite which was fabulous.

    Overall quality was very good. The bed was especially comfortable and the room quite spacious.

    The need to take a lift to the lobby and then another to the rooms. It was a really busy weekend in Montreal, and waiting for lifts all the time became quite frustrating. This was compounded by not being able to find a convenient stairway.

    Staff was incredibly helpful, overly courteous and very patient! Lots of visitors in town for jazz festival and Irish dance competirion and they worked to make sure every guest wS assisted above and beyond.

    The sheet crowds!!! Loads of people staying at hotel or just coming to enjoy restaurant. Elevators were very busy!!!! But staff always jumped in to help. They saw issues before they became problems!!!
