An indoor pool, a gym and a sundeck are located on the roof at this Montréal, Québec hotel. Modern suites provide full kitchen facilities and Mcgill University is 950 meters away.
Score from 737 reviews Wonderful
Centrally located and walking distance from most attractions.
Difficult to find the main lobby. WiFi fees, average rooms and awful view of a roof top.
Pool could have been open first part of week. Pictures and a full length mirror in the room could have been added. Prices too high at bar or happy hour would have been nice. Elevators odd to navigate.
- Location - Accessibility to shops and stores
- The cost of $10.00 each time I left the parking lot, if I did not choose valet parking - The hotel washrooms was from hell. The shower was mouldy - I was told by Reception I could not qualify for my CAA discount as I did not call the hotel to book (Then why have a website), even though we booked 2 rooms, both families were disappointed. - Not what I expected at all. After 1 night we stayed at another hotel..
OVER ALL STAFF AND STANDARD OF THE FACILITY
There was a New Years eve party in the ball room with lots of young people who were not staying at the Hotel however we felt secure and safe because of the numerous security officers visible throughout the hotel.
The wifi had to buy and the parking lot also had a fee.
Good hotel, good personnel and good position in town.
Tv Electricity socket was away from the wall and looked dangerous to use.
Breakfast buffet, a bit pricey but astounding
Clean, quiet room
Wifi wasn't free
No hot tub
Great location and wonderful staff.
When I signed onto wifi network, the default setting is set to premium service of $15/day which I find to be very expensive. I wish I had read the fine print more closely.
i had to opportunity to have my breakfast at the hotel. it was excellent, the friendly staff is great .
Receptionist was great and quick. Check in time was suppose to be at 4 pm, but were allowed to check in by 12.30 pm on arrival. Excellent location on St Catherine Street(shopping paradise) and walking distance to Old Montreal Port and China Town...
No bottles of mineral water provided in the room. Hotel around the world always provides 2 in a room. On another note... if u asked for mineral water should u be getting a sparkling or flat water? To me it should be a normal mineral water eg Evian never Sparkling Water?!
Rooms and beds comfortable.
For the price, I think wifi should be included. Staff not as amicable as I am used to at a hotel of this caliber.
There is absolutely no reason why in this day and age, the Hyatt corporation should be charging for internet. It is insulting and just a cheap way to get more money.
Hotel was very nice in a great location. There is an underground mall connected to the hotel so you don't have to go outside if it's cold. It also has a full supermarket for groceries and other needs. It also has a very nice indoor pool for the kids.
Didn't like having to pay for wifi and parking is a bit expensive. There was also a wood panel hanging from the ceiling in one section. Nothing major, but still noticeable right away.
Nice view of le quartier des spectacles
Wifi not free, no mini bar
Friendly staff Great Location to highway and old montreal Easy morning breakfast buffet Comfortable bed
Public areas getting dated Bathrooms need upgrading
I like the king size bed it was very comfortable and the nice view of the city from my window.
I wanted to valet park at my arrival, but there was no one available to help. I ended up self-park. It seems there was not enough valet parking staff available everybody was busy. I valet parked for one day the service was great then. When I first checked in, I was put in a room that was not properly cleaned. When I called housekeeping, I was told the room was not supposed to have any guest in it because it was not cleaned yet when I could clearly see someone cleaned it, but did not do a very good job. I think someone screwed up on that one. I told him I would stay in the room if someone came and finished cleaning it, I was told I had to move to another room. I was not happy since I traveled 6 hours from Boston and was very tired.
The location is excellent close to everything we wanted to see and do.
Upon arrival the customer service was poor. The one lady completely ignored us while she was on the phone did not even look at us. And it took someone else 15 minutes to come check us in. The beds are very hard and the bathroom showerhead is not centered in the shower and extremely low so my boyfriend who is tall had a harder time showering.
Room view was amazing over the city. Nice buzzy hotel!
Restaurant expensive. Small thing but when we arrived the concierge was chatting to someone and we had to try to grab the attention of someone for help with our bags. We had travelled all night and it wasn't very welcoming. Think it was a one off though!
The staff, room, view, room service, peacefulness, location.
Having to be there for business, parking.
Pool and sauna closed mon-fri. Small gym
I liked the polite service and convenience of the hotel
I didn't like that the breakfast buffet wasn't included and we were not informed of this.
location room comfort basement parking bed size lobby size and seating area
lobby on 6th floor with different left from basement car parking to rooms and very expensive care parking charges.
