Location Front desk Staff in general
Room phone didn't work Room TV didn't work Sink wouldn't drain Amenities cheap considering price
You have to pay for break fast, internet, and so on.. Two twin beds for three adult guests? What about a queen and a single bed? No slippers provided. You will pay for just a name and location that's all
No light in the bathroom the first 24 hours. The WiFi broke down during the second late evening and was not repaired till dawn
very clean n comfortable room, nice staffs, best location for shoppin n sightseeing
customer service and hotel cleaning service good when available..(afternoon service??)
poor room service..late.. elvators..mess, poor availability.. and dirty, old bath fixtures..wet carpet by coffee bar and dripping water in bathroom entrance. should be checked.
Room size Connected room Two different elevators
Old hotel without character
central location; very nice staff
small and old-fashioned bathroom
Very friendly and helpful staff
There was no free wifi which was disappointing
the vent in the elevator at the entrance of the hotel was not working, the smell and the sound was really annoying, and it lasted throughout our entire stay.
the room, the location, the amenities (pool/sauna/steam room), on site parking, were all really nice. we hope to go back soon.
nothing at all.
Absolutely hassle free service and very supportive staff. The location was excellent within easy walking distance from the tourist hot spots. We could get a lovely bird's eye view of the events on the ground from our hotel room itself.
Nothing that I can remember.
The location was great and the loung and foyer was grand. The room was large enough. The staff was friendly however need a bit more knowledge of the area maybe I asked the wrong person.
The fridge did not work and the hair dryer did not work for the amount of money we paid I was expecting a more detail oriented experience.
room was clean and quiet.
Entrance is very complicated and requires an elevator from the street level to the lobby. Everything is very 1970's in the lobbies and bar and purple is everywhere
The Hyatt was clean and crisp as usual, both in the lobby and in the room. Good value for the money, given that Montreal can be extremely expensive in mid-summer.
Our room didn't have a great view. The elevator you must take from street level to lobby level is slow and uninviting.
BEDS ARE COMFORTABLE
I DON'T LIKE PAYING FOR WIFI WHEN THE ROOMS ARE SO EXPENSIVE AS IS, ALSO U SHOULD OFFER BREAKFAST WITH THE STAY
Central location, comfortable beds. Good bar and pool
Room a bit small and dark. Elevator from street level very slow and had an unpleasant oily smell. We had much better rooms elsewhere on our trip for the same price.
Clean rooms, good location.
Water stopped working for few hours. Very inconvenient.
Said they had free appetizers in the late afternoon, but it was only for Hyatt members. The hallway and rooms were not as nice as I thought they would be. Both days the room was not cleaned until very late.
. The staff was nice but could be overwhelmed by the volume of gps coming thru.
The hotel is situated on the 6th fl of the Dejardin complex. You have to navigate several elevators to gain access. It's very tedious and provides no sense of intimacy. It's not where u want to hang out. A place to put your stuff, sleep and leave.
Location and pool
The rooms we got Was horrible, washrooms looked nothing like the images, no duvet covers, only sheets on top of duvet not very hygiene friendly windows were extremely dirty, bath is from 70's.
Fantastic stay!! Beautiful hotel! Will definitely be returning , as well as recommending this hotel to anyone I know travelling to Montreal & that would like to be right downtown!
I had booked online so when checking in, the hotel staff ran my credit card, however they put through a charge for a hold/"deposit" but never mentioned to me that this was the case. It was only a problem because it said I was minus $60 on my Visa even though there wasn't a charge actually put through, I had to find this out by calling my credit card company. Perhaps the staff should atleast mention they are running a "deposit" for any damages etc, even if you are refunded that back after you've checked out (within 3-5 business days of course)
Location location location!! Can't ask for better location! Great views of the city :) Lobby, bar & restaurant were gorgeous. Staff was great too :)
Outdated bathrooms with tiny tub & mattress was very uncomfortable :/
I liked the fact that you had an indoor pool and the bar lounge area was very nice
As a frequent traveller, I've been in a lot of hotels but my room lacked a few things such as a working bathroom fan, embarrassing when with a guest, no menu for room service(had to call and get one) overpriced room service, and a bathroom that was in serious need of an upgrade. I would not stay there again, not for the money I spent
