I love the location of this hotel. It is about 3 minutes walking distance from the theatres and a short subway ride to the Eaton's Centre. It is easy to access from the Gardiner as well. All in all, the location and style of this hotel was perfect for our mid-week getaway. Our room's heating system was a little out of whack. I should have called the front desk as soon as we arrived but, I didn't and therefore we slept in a "sauna"! The next morning one of the housekeepers asked about our stay and told her about the heat. She immediately called maintenance and within about 15 min, staff came and fixed the heating system. By the time we left, the room was very comfortable. Very good service!

The front desk staff and the concierge were very obliging as were our waitresses at both dinner and breakfast. Extremely disappointed and refused to pay $14.95 per day for internet access. I have stayed at $49/night motels that provide free access. Also, I was greatly disturbed by the fire alarm at 2:00 a.m. It would have been nice to get an apology or restitution; on the other hand, I am glad the alarm system worked, especially had it been a more serious situation. I would recommend the hotel, but warn future guests about the lack of intenet access.

1) They took about 1 hour to find out, there was a false fire alarm at 5am and no apologies whatsoever 2) They allow people talking and make high noise on the hall, during late hours 3) The windows do not isolate the noise from street traffic which makes uncomfortable to sleep 4) Internet is paid, even in Hotel 2 stars are for free 5) TV service poor quality

I will never book through hotel site again We had another couple book through a broker site and had breakfast included We had to pay $22.00 extra per person Per day and it was a buffet style ? Found food quality does not warrant $22.00 !! Overall initial checkin front desk person Was not to helpful and we paid for parking and Gave our license plate number at checkin And we kept on receiving parking tickets Each day !! Very annoying Regards

Staff was very professional and exceptionally courteous and helpful. The rooms have a slick modern look and are well appointed. The location for both business and entertainment in Toronto is absolutely ideal. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops and bars within easy walking distance. Excellent value and a pleasant experience.

I thought the design of the rooms was unique. I liked the modern/comtemporary aspect. I was impresssed by the hotel staff, very friendly, helpful and pleasant, but in a casual way..not forced or stuffy. I was looking forward to a swim and a hot tub :(

Well priced for its convenient location Very quick and easy check-in Courteous and polite staff Clean and modern looking room - Lack of valet parking - Noisy air cond fan - couldn't adjust it either - Lack of bathroom shelf space - Pillows kept sliding down into the recess at the head of the matress (that recess is really a useless design feature in that you can't see it but it interferes with your pillow usage)

Location was excellent (Theatre district). Both checking in staff and checking out staff were excellent. Bed and pillows could have been more comfortable and for two people an extra pillow would have been good (only three were provided and my husband and I like to sleep with two).

Rooms were clean, comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Don't feel that I should have to pay for parking especially not $29 for one night. Also the rooms are in need of a little maintenance in regards to peeling paint etc. looking a bit tired.

I believe that it's absolutely ridiculous at the amount I was charged to stay at the Hotel. I stayed at the Hotel for a total of 1 day and was charge $309/per night plus parking. I am a government employee and was not granted the government rate as my colleagues were. My colleagues were given a rate of $149/per night. Absolutely ridiculous the hotel isn't worth that price. I will never stay there again.

I enjoyed all the modern Architecture in the rooms, as well as in the main lobby just an amazing design. Water walls looked amazing. Did not like the fact that we ended up with a 4:20am wake up call due to the fire alarm being pulled twice, but in the end it made the trip that more exciting. The hotel manager on that night handled the situation very well.

I've always like it's location, it's proximity to great parts of the city. I also have always appreciated how accessible and easy it is to check in, park and start enjoying your stay...no fuss, which is nice when there is so much to experience in the city for business or personal...makes the whole experience more enjoyable. Thanks so much for the accommodations.

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a hotel. When we arrived we were told that the two double beds that we originally ordered and went there for were not available. We were given a King size bed and the room was absolutely tiny. It was not even worth half the amount that I had payed for it. There were others issues regarding a cot that we were promised but were told later in the night was not available. The stay at this hotel was horrible and I am deeply upset that I waisted my money on it.

Clean, modern hotel located in the heart of Toronto's downtown. I was transiting through Toronto with my daughter. We had booked and explicitly requested a room with 2 beds. The hotel confirmed this, but upon arrival the hotel had only a room with a single bed for us. Some of us ended up spending the night on an uncomfortable cot. Considering the $250+ nightly bill this was very poor value for our money. The hotel compensated us with free breakfast, but had I known ahead of time I would have chosen a different hotel. I am very disappointed by such practices, and am now unable to recommend the Hyatt Regency.
