Score from 98 reviews Wonderful
Nice room with a very comfortable bed.
Overhead shower in the tub was awful. Apparently the hotel also has traditional showers, but how would anyone know to ask? And I hate the paper cup and single coffee makers. It feels very cheap in a top hotel.
The pool and hot tub; the bed was incredibly comfortable; great pillows. Location was fantastic.
Location Room Overall quality of service
Really enjoyed our stay and had little to complain about. The ceiling shower heads were a new experience.
Had to fold up some paper and wedge the connecting door to the adjacent room so the door wouldn't rattle ever time they opened their main door. Not a huge problem but a nuisance.
Big windows were awesome, the hotel clerk was lovely
Didn't like the long waits for elevators. Or having to pay for WiFi.
Having to pay for the Internet
Bed was comfortable, lots of channels on tv and a good size. Great location and lifts were always fast and efficient. The star bucks cafe was good downstairs as it was convenient if we needed extra snacks to eat
Location is wonderful, staff is great.
furniture in the room is a bit to old, not in line with Hyatt I know in EUROPE
Location is great. Free wifi in lobby. Coffee shop, and a restaunant. Great service for the money you pay.
Fee for room wifi. That is absolutely unacceptable as this is the generation of free wifi every where. Hyatt has a primitive idea on this part of the service.
Great staff location and food
Poor lighting in the bathroom and the bed was very soft
The cocktail lounge on the main level was very nice
Ideal in location and staff from all service areas competent, professional, very friendly and helpful.
view was very good concierge very knowledgable and friendly
tv could have been bigger? I don't know... just trying to fill in space. there really was nothing wrong with the room or service!
Great Hotel and location. Very helpful staff and friendly. Nice and clean room. Room service was great and a compliment to the Chef. The best chicken I ever had. Will come back for sure.
The elevators, and the bar
The lighting in the room was not placed well. There wa insufficient light where you need it. The design was done for aesthetics rather than function.,
Lovely night stay and such a beautiful view from our floor! Would love to go back and stay.
Very friendly staff, excellent elevator system (you can plan the trip ahead).
One of us uses a wheelchair. The thick carpet makes driving the wheelchair very difficult. A wooden floor is generally preferable for an accessible room, very few hotel companies practice this according to our experience.
The swimming pool
What I loved most is the hospitality of the staff and their friendliness attitude, spacious rooms and fast service response.
Although the rooms I booked included free wifi, on the second leg of my booking they wanted to take it away, but I spoke to front desk and sorted out.
Check out great, location and room good.
When we checked in though the room was cleaned there was a used towel behind the door. The second day when we got back to the room at 3 pm the room was not cleaned. This hotel is too big and impersonal.
Everything but the possibility to have a quiet night of rest and peaceful sleep.
As soon as we came back from dinner (10pm) a party was on in the next room - called reception - they had to pound on the door for several minutes before people inside heard music & noise was that loud - the base of music, shouting, doors banging shut on our floor. It quieted down for a while but started again during the night - called reception again; no rest possible. Personnel was apologizing but sleep was impossible.
Close to Sky train for transportation to and from the airport. Skytrain also took us to BC Place Soccer Stadium for Vancouver Whitecaps Game, it is also good for the Hockey Stadium. Climate is temperate and the area gorgeous. Many wonderful museums. So many things we have not gotten to do yet. Need to go back for the whale watching, museums, etc.
You need to remember to ask concierge which end of town is lively on the weekends. One is very lively the other very quiet on weekends. One more dedicated to entertainment and visitors and the other to business.
