I liked the room comfy bed plenty of of space
I didn't like anything
everything about this place is great, if you are wanting to be in the middle of the city this is a perfect place to stay.
there isnt anything i didnt like about this place.
Everything was excellent here - from unloading the car with our baggage, to delivering it to our room, checking in was so easy with the friendly staff. Even getting a taxi was so simple and it arrived in minutes few!
Homeless people sleeping on the street right outside the hotel. Not the hotel's fault but the city needs to do something about that. It takes away from the great city image which we enjoyed.
Early open Starbucks.
Rooms were a little on the expensive side.
Fantastic views from 32nd floor room, great reastaurant, excellent cocktail bar, perfect location.
concierge was knowledgable ,but cryptic
Literally everything had to be requested multiple times- turndown service, maid daily service, etc. Towels were almost threadbare; bath amenities minimal. NOT A 4 star experience at all!
Hotel was postioned downtown, with easy access. Good internet around the hotel and rooms making business easier. Rooms are ergonomically desiged and very functional. Comfort level was great.
Breakfast was poor and expensive, very poor value for money. The breakfast room doesn’t open early enough. It needs some simplier options such tea and toast/croissant with out the huge price tag. The gym and pool area was functional, but small for a hotel of this size only 6 sun loungers and not serviced with drinks etc.
The Hyatt Regency has a great fresh contemporary feel in a brilliant location with very comfortable features and super helpful staff
Elevator system. Clean of facilities .Friendliness os staff. Food in restaurants. Rooms. Location. Help when needed from staff.
Lobby. Has uncomfortable chairs and sofas. Its chopped in different pieces.
Very nice upscale Hotel in the center of vancouver, starbucks in the Lobby so you can easily skip the quite expensive hotel breakfast. Very nice restaurants, very helpfull staff however extremely overpriced internet if you would like to use it in your room!
Everything mentioned above
No free parking No free wi-fi
No robe in room Had to pay for internet Had to pay for radio stations Poor shower
We loved the large comfortable room. The big bed was great as we didn't disturb each other when we moved. The dark curtains kept out the light too, leading to a good sleep. There were lots of little extras that made it a home from home, like the umbrella! The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The location was perfect, we were so close to everything and were able to walk around the city. We did a day trip to Whistler and only had to cross to the Fairmont Hotel to be picked up. Check out and check in were seamless. The food in the dining room was very tasty too. My two daughters and son-in-law were with us (in the room next to us), they too enjoyed the hotel. We had been to a relatives wedding in Kelowna where we stayed for 5 days and then went on to Vancouver. We all thought it was a beautiful city and I would love to return at some stage. I will definitely recommend the Hyatt to friends, family and workmates. Marie
Room Staff Buffet breakfast on not so crowded days Pool
I liked the very convenient location of the hotel. It was close to everything we needed.
The Vancouver Hyatt provides excellent value for money. I was travelling with my three teenage children and arriving late after a very long day of travel we were shown to two rooms that were not as requested. Even though I was too tired to make a big deal out of it, Luther - who had shown us to our room- immediately picked up on the issues (we needed queen beds and a connecting door) and within 5 minutes and without us having to go down he had us moved into the right kind of connecting rooms. Any hotel makes mistakes, it is how staff react to that which makes the difference and on this the Hyatt and Luther get two thumbs up from us. Both set of rooms by the way were large and modern, both had big windows and bathrooms. The breakfast (and lunch/dining) space is airy and has big windows facing out onto the street, a relief from the confined and dark spaces many hotels use for this. The breakfast buffet is quite good as well. From the hotel it is an easy walk to most city centre & waterfront attractions. The whole place and almost all staff (including the valet team) exude a positive attitude and a strong attention to detail.
We really liked this place (1 of 12 on this year's road trip) so not much to fault. The outside pool area is a bit small and drab, but other than that we highly recommend this place.
excellent location, everything at a walking distance, spacious room, very quiet, very clean and well equipped. Very good quality of bed
for the price paid, i think a free bootle of water should be given instead of charging 3.5$ for a small bottle.
The beds were incredibly comfortable and cozy. We were there 3 nights with a packed agenda and did not benefit from the amenities. We ate once in the main restaurant for breakfast. A good variety and servers were very plesant. The concierge were most helpful and friendly.
Did not like the fact that free in room wifi is not offered to guests although it it is offered in the main lobby. Numerous times the areas were packed and the 3 of us couldn't find space together or even coming down individually. For $300+ per night I would expect wifi in my room.
everything was excellent
Amazing hotel! Top class
No free Wi-Fi in the find but that's expected off of most business hotels in downtown
Convenient to downtown, comfortable bed, staff was always willing to help.
No microwave in room and there is a charge for wi-fi. There are very few U.S. hotels that don't offer free wi-fi service, which is very important to us.
General internal furnishings
We were leaving on a cruise so the location was perfect. Close to the Canada Place departure terminal but also within walking distance of a lot of the major sights in downtown Vancouver. The staff was very helpful.
Only staying one night and felt the hotel was a little pricey but I think that is the average cost of a hotel room in Vancouver.
The hotel is walking distance to almost all the major attractions and the shopping distric
