Vikki was very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are well equipped and very clean. If I were using hotel ratings, I would give it 4/4.5 star. Breakfast delivered to your room at a time to suit you.

We stayed for 2 nights at Hyphocus Inn and really enjoyed ourselves. The place is very nice and clean with lots of space for a couple. We loved the real fireplace and enjoyed the deck overlooking the water. The food each morning was so tasty (and they were very accommodating to my gluten allergy). The location is lovely and I would highly recommend this B&B!

It's probably hard to find a more perfect B&B.Our appartment was a spacious and charmingly decorated loft with a fireplace, a cozy queen-size bed, a private terrace and an air-massage tub! The (vegetarian) breakfast was delicious and brought to our front porch every morning. The B&B is a little on the outskirts of Ucluelet (no problem if you have a car), but you get rewarded with a rainforst-like garden and a view over Spring Cove. The hosts are an extremely nice couple. I would recommend the place to anyone who plans a stay in Ucluelet!

A beautiful accommodation, the decor is superb. Breakfast was delivered to our room and every morning there was something different. Vickie is an excellent hostess. Lots to do in the area as long as you love nature.

The couple who owns the place were friendly, knowledgeable about the town and surrounding areas and really nice to chat with. The breakfast was delish... fresh and homemade. The room was amazing and comfortable... two way fireplace.. gorgeous wood and stone, giant hot tub bath tub, private deck, wi fi, and all other modern amenities. Check out their website. There was no rush to check out. A+ all around... would go back in a heartbeat.

It was outstanding top to bottom. The breakfasts were fabulous. The atmosphere was great. We loved the deck that overlooked the estuary from which we saw some wonderful wildlife. The wood fireplace topped it off. I would recommend the Hyphocus Inn to anyone (and already have!).

We loved the comfort of out suite, the jacuzzi bath was wonderful and the bed was comfortable. The fire places was nice and cozy.

When we arrived we had said we wouldn't be arriving until after 7 sometime as we were traveling. We arrived at 9:30.. Went into reception and everyone was asleep.. I called 4 times until someone answered he then gathered everything and got us settled which was great but stressful. Our suite was on the bottom so it was really loud with the children above banging and running around for hours on end. And we had to ask for extra fire would and our breakfast things to be cleared out of our room.

The wonderful breakfasts, the beautiful design of the room.

There was not a shelf to be found in the bathroom for a toothbrush and deo, and in the room for clothes. So living out of suitcases on the floor dampened the beauty. With storage space the design would work and be great.

The inn has the best jacuzzi tub, and with the central fireplace, it makes this location a very romantic getaway spot.

The only downside I would say is a little bit of early morning noise in the place traveling through the house.

Our valentine weekend getaway at the Hyphocus Inn was every bit as special as we had hoped it would be and so, so much more. The owner, Kevin, showed us our room and we immediately fell into holiday mode, taking full advantage of the double-sided fireplace and jacuzzi tub. So relaxing. Beforehand we had asked Kevin if he would prepare us some lobster we'd brought down which he kindly accepted. That meal he prepared for us was probably the highlight of the whole weekend; it was the most delicious lobster I've ever tasted in my life. We slept great in the queen bed and awoke to pouring rain which enhanced the serenity of the place. Breakfast was delicious; fresh coffee, cinnamon buns and this unique mixture of shredded apple, coconut, almonds, yogurt, blackberries and I'm not sure what else but it was healthy and very filling- perfect start to the day. We spent the day in the storm outside, hiking the West Pacific trail loop and didn't even mind being soaked to the bone because we had a fire and tub to look forward to getting back to! So much fun. For the second night Kevin suggested Norwoods for dinner, which was fine class dining- first time having non-rubbery octopus, amazing!! Again we slept like logs and started the day off with another fabulous breakfast before taking off for Tofino for the day. All around it was the perfect getaway; peaceful, romantic- we got all the privacy in the world and most of all just had a really great time spoiling ourselves! I would highly recommend this inn to any couple or friends that need an affordable but luxury escape, they do it right in a most beautiful part of the world. Also, side-note, the CDs that they have in the room were the perfect compliment to dinner and dancing so make sure to check em out! Hope you guys enjoy as much as we did, Love Chelsea and Dave from the island

Good views, friendly substitute-staff, quiet neighbourhood, clean and bright.

Noisy, stacked suites aren't very quiet, privacy could be better, some amenities were falsely advertised.

Friendly owner. Super clean suite. I liked the idea of being able to have a fire outside. The bathtub was great, nice and deep. Breakfast was yummy. Very good value for the money!

Lack of lamps beside bed. Polyester duvet way too hot to use. A cotton blanket would be a good alternative if left in the cupboard for hot sleepers. Bar fridge was noisey so we had to leave it off and keep our stuff in a cooler.
